I was just wondering, It's been released in japan as the J butterfly, at the US droid dna, hopefully Europe will be getting theirs too!
but if any of you have some rumored stuff of somewhat to share, please do!
Most appreciated.
It might be available in Europe/rest of world under the name HTC DLX (Deluxe). The DLX will have the same specs as the DNA and J Butterfly.

Someone found an ad for this phone that they say is in Chinese, so there likely will be an international version of some sort.
The international DNA has just been announced: HTC Announces Butterfly
It's just like the J Butterfly but the Butterfly is available worldwide, not just Japan.

Hi Folks
Here on xda-developers the HTC Desire has been linked to the Droid Eris, but checking out the US and European HTC sites they are different phones.
The European Desire doesn't launch until the first week in April (pre-ordered mine yesterday) but it seems the Droid Eris has been out on Verizon for short period already.
Can anyone shed any light?
the droid eris is the hero version in verizon while the htc desire on htc site is the new mobile released in MWC which is nexus one like..
Two totally different phones!!!

Ours is DesireC. Essentially, Desire CDMA. Hero has a Hero (G2) and a HeroC (CDMA Hero). Our files on our phone call the phone "DesireC"

Hello all, would i be able to use the international HTC One X+ on AT&T in the US with no issues?
I would assume so. I use the International One X on AT&T in the US right now and the radios on the One X+ are supposed to be the same. In fact, I'm waiting on my UK One X+ to arrive so I can drop my AT&T SIM card in it and get rocking.

I don't think it will have support for LTE though
Sent from my DROID2 using xda premium
No, it won't have LTE support but it will have HPSA+ support and it'll be carrier unlocked so it all depends on what you want out of your One X+.
Talking tap from this here brainy fone
Looking to buy a Telus One X+ for shipping to the US so that I can get it unlocked and use on AT&Ts network. It doesn't appear that Telus will let me purchase and ship to the US.
I've looked at Negri and Expansys but neither have the Telus version it seems.
Are there other places that folks can point me to for this?
Thanks!
MG
Payapl me the money and I'll get you one and then send it to you

I'm wondering the same thing. I think probably we'll have to wait for them to show up on eBay. I'm guessing maybe after Christmas people will have phones that they don't want for some reason. It also looks like in the past Negri Electronics sold the Rogers version of the One X (for a very high price), so perhaps the One X+ will show up there at some point.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just buy the AT&T version?!? They're basically the same device. Unless you don't like the (ugly) globe at the top of the AT&T version

Yeah, that basically it. I don't like the carrier branding. I guess I'm just particular that way.
And I don't mind waiting a month or two, until they show up on eBay. The price will probably come down some. And hopefully by then there will be a version of Cyanogen available, so I don't have to spend one minute with Sense (yuck). Also in the mean time, I may still decide to get a Nexus 4. I'm still in a wait and see mode, to see how people's experiences with the glass back go.
Although I've checked out both phones in the store and, for me, the One X+ feels much better in the hand as well as seeming more high quality. (There's also the extra storage in the One X+, the capacitive buttons, a better camera, and a little bit better of a screen--all features I like.)

hi i was wondering if you know why my htc one x plus shows as evare_ul on my computer model number and phone name this is a telus phone unlocked and on the bell network.
thanks,
I think all phones have an internal code name used by the company that designed it. I believe they use this name during the design process, before they've figured out the commercial name they'll use for marketing purposes. I'm guessing EVARE_UL is HTC's code name for the AT&T/Telus version of the One X+. Probably when you plug your phone into your computer at some low (file structure?) level the phone identifies itself to the computer by this name.

I think the name for the ATT version is Evitare and the others are called Evita.

EvitaRE_UL is what it shows on my hboot
Slithered from my HTC One X+ running Viper XL+
According to GLBenchmark the code name for the LTE version (AT&T/Telus) of the HTC One X+ is evitareul, which Pocket Now suggests is probably supposed to be read as Evitare UL.
http://www.glbenchmark.com/phonedetails.jsp?benchmark=glpro21&D=HTC+PM63100&testgroup=system
http://pocketnow.com/2012/07/12/htc...roid-shows-in-benchmarks-new-one-series-model
I think one can imagine how in the file system evitareul or Evitare UL might get abbreviated to evare_ul as in dweenz initial post about this.
I'm guess the L in "UL" stands for LTE. Don't know about the U.

I can't decide which should I choose. dna or butterfly. all I need is better dev support in xda.
I visited on both dna and on butterfly forums and found that htc dna has much better dev support then butterfly.
the problem is I live in india here htc launched butterfly but badly butterfly has very less support in xda.
suppose if I managed to buy dna from USA and then ship to india later then all gsm sim cards will work or not because I read somewhere dna is carrier based by verizon.

It all depends on which features you really want. To me I really like wireless charging, that's why I choose DNA. I'm from Taiwan, it works fine with any carriers that we have here so don't worry about sim cards unless you want to have LTE working.
If you want to root your device, think twice before you get DNA cause that's the biggest problem now for those DNA with latest verizon firmware.

I'm planning to trade my s3 for an international htc one x plus unlocked bought from Europe. I know that the at&t htc one x plus could get lte on tmobile. Could the international one too?
So are you sure the HTC One X Plus from AT&T will pickup T-Mos LTE?
