Lmao my freaking TBolt is sitting on my desk, it's death is imminent. My Note 2 is out for delivery as of 8:30 AM today, and I look forward to putting a spike through this old piece of [email protected]#$'s screen >: )
Ok maybe not, I can still get some money for it. But god damn I cannot wait to deactivate this thing and box it up. It's so bad. Still no ICS yet lawwwwwwwwwl HTC I shake my head at you.
Lol believe it or not I liked my t bolt it had the fastest lte download speed to this date battery was the death of it for me

If by to this date you mean until the Note 2 showed up, then yeah I agree. It was fast. But then when I ran consistent www.speakeasy.net/speedtest runs next to my brother's Note 2, and he was able to consistently hit 40+mbps down 15 mbps up, while I was capping at like 25 mbps down and 10 mbps up, yeah it definitely got beat.
Couple that with how much better the processor is in the Note 2 and not only is the phone able to obtain the necessary bandwidth for a web page faster, but it processes it quicker too. No sitting there lagged out while the page gets processed and rendered. Just instant and smooth viewing. Difference is massive.
Don't kill the thunderbolt! I traded mine the day after my note showed up +50 bucks for am iphone 4s. Now I know it's am iphone but it's going to be very influential in me getting a s3 as my "small phone". There are still people that will pay 100 bucks or so for a tbolt.

I would love to sell my bolt but i guess the modem fried in it or something. Lost signal on ehrpd (or whatever the name is) modem setting but could force 3g by enabling RevA in the ##778# menu. I might keep it for a camera in certain situations where i dont wanna put my Note through. Im a hightech redneck so to speak and do a lot of crazy things. that being said i was always an advocate of the bolt and always stood up for it when people put it down. ....until it failed me 1 week outside of warranty. so gay.

man i got the bolt when it hit the market and loved it...no lie it was fast but the comparison between the 2 is commodor 64 to modern computer. idk if any of you have played with the Note for a couple of days and then picked the bolt (or any other 4.3inch phone) back up but a once big phone feels so tiny. i couldnt imagine holding a 3.5 inch phone after the note.
I'm coming off a tbolt too!
The lack of updates wasn't so bad, being rooted I was on twisted's ics rom with Google Now, and it was nice to be ready for LTE. Waited 2 months after my upgrade date to have an LTE capable phone which is great because it would have sucked to spend the last 2 years on 3g.
But lag was getting pretty bad and man, it felt like I could never use my phone because if I did much at all, the battery would die before I got home to a charger.
Off the charger since 7am and 60% battery left on Note 2. Happy.

Mods can we get some warning points against this guy ^^^ for the foul language in the last sentence? lol
I just joined Verizon less then a year ago and went from the Gnex>iPhone 4>iPhone 4s>T bolt>white Droid RAZR>Droid X & G Tab 7.7 4g combo> SGSIII > Droid RAZR Maxx HD> Note 2 and I'm sure I'm missing a device here and there I'm sure. Out of all of those devices the Droid RAZR Maxx HD had the best down/up speeds and battery life (Motorola always has the best radios). Now my all time all around favorite phone is the Note 2 hands down!
Before I joined Verizon I was with Sprint for 12 years and my smart phone list was as big as my Verizon list. I like trading phones and getting the latest greatest.
Edit. I only tried the I phones so I could be fair to myself and others when I say Android smokes iOS 6 ways to Sunday.

There's 6 ways to Sunday??? but I myself like iOS but its no where near what android is. Whenever I get asked what phone to get, I always say Galaxy S3. I say that because while the Note 2 is better (in my opinion) than the Galaxy S3, the huge size isn't for everyone. Of course I also let them know the Galaxy Note 2 is better than the GS3 but not everyone can handle something this big

I agree .. In also agree that iOS and apple have a very functional devise. IF you are not into customization and just want something that works and tells you what you can and can't do. But if you are an individual and like to take control of your device then android is your route. I posted on Facebook when I got this thing as to how amazed I was but like the above stated I made it clear that it was not a device for everyone.
My Tbolt is now a mini-tablet for my 2.5 year old. I see it sitting on a table sometimes and go to pick it up and remember that I now have a bad ass, rooted GN2! Come on Adam!

Knowing a lot people here and some.new, while we wait for root I would like to.know what phone you guys have? And why choose the EVO 3D ?
I had the EVO and thundebolt ( okay a lot with phones , I owned and epic , nexus s , and iPhone 4 )
I wasn't sure to get this phone but my EVO screen broke and i didn't have my insurance no more ( took it off last month ) and sprint didn't want to replace it cause it was bigger then an inch, a supervisor.and a person from canceling deparment moved my upgrade from January 2012 to this month so i got it and so far is good no problems just waiting for root but the phone is really good so I don't.miss root as much, what's your story ?

I had the samsung moment. Need I say more?
To add to the story though, I talked about this phone from the first announcement until release date and the wifey got really annoyed. Picked up the phone on release date and brought it home that evening at which point she spent 5 minutes with it and asked if she could replace her htc hero with the e3d. I then called up the sprint store to make sure they had some. luckily they had one left so we immediately went over and picked it up.

Oh man, sorry you had to go though that. Some moments over-stay their welcome.
I had the OG EVO & I bought the EVO 3D because I wanted better graphics, power, the camera button, to flaunt the newness + 3D & 3 cameras, the QHD resolution, Official Sense 3.0 + eventual Ice Cream Sandwich (to feed my "must have latest w/ cake" bug) & another HTC made handset.

I came from a iPhone 3gs and At&t (when the iPhone was dominant). once my contract was up I left At&t and went to Sprint again with my sister and got the EVO 3d. Its not a major improvement to my sisters rooted EVO but it sure is to my old iPhone. I mean this thing has flash and I can actually makes calls with it . I can't wait until I get to flash some Roms on this bad boy.

Yeah the app store was the only thing holding me back but at least they have some good games like Plants VS Zombies and Nova 2 at the Market, I even have double Twist as my default music player. I knew that you could customize android but its pretty amazing how customizable it really is, from different launchers to different widgets. It's all better than the iPhone.

Repost:
I started with the original palm pre two years ago.
I absolutely adored the OS, and still do, especially when filecoaster first appeared and the homebrew scene really took off.
Android was still in its infancy back then and the iPhone never held too much appeal for me, especially since I'm big on real keyboards and actual tactility.
Blackberry was a no go for me, windows mobile natch.
So I switched carriers to Sprint from Verizon and to the palm pre from the LG enV.. I swear that dumbphone still has one of the best keyboards I've ever used!
I love the navigational and UI metaphors of webOS. I love the intuitiveness and simplicity of the gestures.
Love the notification system and ability to see and use then even while the screen is locked. I also love the status/menu bar up top, giving you quick access to system/app options.
Really just a pleasure to use.
The customizability of the OS is phenomonal and the loosely centralized nature of the homebrew community with webOS internal serving as the main pillar. Preware is unmatched in the mobile homebrew landscape. Nothing comes close.
That being said, HP/palm gave us early adopters a thorough shafting and with no pre3 in sight for Sprint, I used my upgrade to move on to the HTC EVO 3d after my umpteenth pre- went the way of the dodo.
It's a wonderful piece of hardware and while I may not necessarily find Android to be the in the same class as best of breed OS that is webOS, the superior hardware options on Sprint all lead to Android.
Wp7 is still nascent and while it is somewhat attractive and interesting, the phones currently available haven't really caught my eye and again, my timetable for choosing a new phone was limited so i couldn't afford to wait til fall for a wp7 mango handset refresh.
I'm very satisfied with my 3vo and am pleased to not suffer from the same issues seemingly plaguing a very vocal portion of 3vo owners.
If the Motorola photon launches within my 30 day window, I may look into it as I originally had my eyes set on that piece of tech but my underestimation of the 3vo has been wildly exceeded.

Samsung I760 - HTC Touch - HTC Touch Pro - HTC Touch Pro 2 - HTC Evo - HTC Evo 3D
I usually upgrade phones more frequently than the average user, but I had the Evo for the longest that I've stayed with a phone in years. The Evo 4G really was, and still is, and amazing phone. If it were not for the 3D, then I would still be happily rocking the Evo 4G. My top 3 reasons for going with the 3D was for the processor, screen resolution, and more RAM. While the 3D feature was intriguing, I really didnt expect it to work all that great. I must say that I was really blown away after watching a couple youtube videos in 3D and then watching The Green Hornet. The images really do come out away from the screen further than some tv's do.

I love the rezound it is an awesome phone. If you like androids you will love it. My wife just switched to a rezound from an iphone 4 and she loves it. I upgraded from an evo 3d and it is a way better phone.
I've been with android since the very beginning with the G1 and the REZOUND is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. Not only is it the most powerful phone currently on the market it but it has great battery life that can easily get me through a full day of medium usage. The phone is even better now that HTC has unlocked the bootloader and a ton of ROMS have been released by developers. Plus, an early ICS build has been released which could lead to a stable ICS release in the coming weeks so overall I couldn't be any happier with this phone!
Yes, best there is right now. I switched from android to the iphone and now "I'm back in the saddle again."
Thanks for the feed back. I'm still researching this phone but I am stoked about getting an Android phone again. I was a luanch customer on the EVO 4G and then switched to Verizon on the Thunderbolt. I got a fancey stereo for my car and of course it was iPhone ready so to get all the goodies my new stereo would do I switch to an IPhone. I have decided the iPhone is just not worth having for my car stereo so back to Android I go.
I have a Nook Color and a HP Touchpro (running android of course) so yea...Im and Android junky and a flashaholic!!!

No, you're not making a mistake. Yes, the Rezound is the right choice!
The screen is gorgeous. There's a bit of an issue with color/tint in taking pics but the clarity and sharpness is amazing. Text is clear and crisp.
The dev section is going crazy since HTC unlocked it and now there's an ICS leak that people are working on.
Personally I like Sense a lot but there are ROMs without it available.
4g.
16gb internal and 16gb external removable sd card which can be upgraded to a 64gb card and confirmed working. That's an 80gb phone!
Wirefly currently has this phone at $99.99 for new contract or additional line.
I love it. If you like Android I'm sure you will too.
from the OG droid to a dx to the rezound it is by FAR the best phone I've owned. I've also had a chance to use/test drive a gnex and razr and i can honestly say that i don't have ONE bit of regret getting the rezound over those two. In after thought it was really a no brainer actually.

I asked this same question when I got rid of my DX2. I have never been happier with a phone ever. I love this thing more than I loved my OG Droid, and I nearly cried when I got rid of that. This phone is beyond amazing, and with all the new work on ICS that's coming up, you're jumping in at the perfect time.
another positive review
I too came from a x2, and was also an OG early adopter.
This phone kicks ass! The screen is unbelievable, the dev possibilities are endless, the beats makes a BIG difference on the audio! I was just getting into modding my x2...and once I (finally) learn my way around this one, the sky's the limit!
RUN , don't walk, to Verizon and sign on the dotted line! Lol
If price is an object, then yes, the Rezound is great for the price.
If price is not of concern, I don't see why you would not go with the Galaxy Nexus.
I don't think the Rezound is bad, but turning down consistent updating from Google, more after market customization and less difficulty rooting or doing any custom ROM, the galaxy nexus is Verizon's Best Phone, bar none.
That being said, go with what you like the best. Try them out, and go with what you like the most.

Because the galaxy nexus has the worst antenna issues I have ever experienced. Screen is pentile amoled that gives it a nasty blue tint. People have been reporting burn in on the screen. Need I go on?

It's a great phone with a few quirks:
Many are plagued with overheating issues, my first one was but my second works fine.
The design of the screen allows the LEDs to shine up from the bottom and annoys some but I don't notice it often unless I'm watching video in the dark. This can be solved by installing screen filter and turning off the LEDs.
Stock battery sucks if you're a heavy user and on stock ROM or kernel. Development is just getting going and it's getting better.
Color balance of camera is off, most of the time you need to keep it on incandescent to get accurate pictures.
All the above are quirks and you can get over however the main problem is the audio hissing/whining/feedback when headphones are plugged in. Ironic that a beats phone has music issues lol.
Speaking of beats its a gimmick and I find equalizer (the app) does a much better job for a variety of music.
Pros are the following:
Amazing screen and full HD videos on it look amazing. High ppi ftw! Plus it is a full rgb display and not pentile like the razr.
Sense integration, love it or hate it. I don't love it but I really like it and because the hardware is so good it isn't laggy at all and love the contact and widgets.
While not the thinnest phone it feels really great in the hand. Ergonomically speaking much nicer to hold and pocket than the razr for comparison.
ISC should be coming soon as rezound is part of first release update. I think sometime in February.
Lock screen shortcuts (because of sense 3.5) are really handy
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Stop the lies in here about the Nexus......the Rezound is a nice phone.....that's it. It is NOT a superior device. Its the same old phone HTC has been selling for years with a dual core and over packed PPI. The most bloated UI of any phone and I read a earlier post about the "most powerful handset on the market"..????....seriously? Where are these specs at? This is terribly misleading information that is OPINION. This is one of many DECENT phones on the market.

I have the i777 and my wife has the SR. When we're in NYC, her data speed is a ton faster than mine (because of LTE), so LTE in NYC works just fine. Honestly, through daily use, both phones are great. Many people around here will tell you to stick with the i777 but I'm not going to sway you one way or another. I have access to both devices and they're both really good. Although, I find the ICS roms on this device are more stable than the SR, IMO.

I can agree with this.
Friend of mine has the Skyrocket. We were in NYC yesterday for the auto show so he had those LTE speeds unleashed and they were pretty damn impressive. They were totally destroying my HSPA+ speeds. I've played around with his phone on other occasions and it really isn't that bad at all.
Both are really good phones.
Depends. Does Att have an LTE network up where you live? If so then yes, if not than the skyrocket is pointless and by the time they do have LTE live where you are there will be much better devices available.

I had a skyrocket, went to a iphone 4s, now on the S2 and my gf has a Vivid so I think I can help.
Skyrocket has a little larger screen and data was always faster for me even on just hspa+. One thing I noticed too is it could handle a website with a wall of animated gifs that my 4S and this S2 struggle with.
The S2 has better dev support but that's the only category it wins to me.
Iphone I loathe now. Not customizable compared to android and sometimes too simple. The smaller screen can be annoying too.
I know what you mean about the Vivid audio jack so annoying

The fact that I have LTE makes it not a major concern, its very spotty I mean yeah its faster then my fios but its spotty and you only get it here and there... I'm on 4g most the time anyways
The jack is my biggest concern honestly its so annoying, haha I have a feeling he won't swap with me if I don't get a iPhone he's pro ios and anti reg apple os lmao
What screen and battery do you like more out of them
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using XDA
The resolution on the iphone is great but I prefer the colors of super amoled on the Samsung.
Skyrocket is always faster even on just 4g. Also no headphone jack issues on Samsung or apple
Iphone had the best battery life but still Samsung isn't bad either

I find the SR just a tad too big for confortable/secure one-handed use. For that reason I chose the i777. If that weren't a factor. I'd have gone with the SR.
OTOH I do know people who had the same concern about one-handed use, got the SR anyway, and now say they are used to it and glad with their choice.

the phone isn't actually as big as you think it is (for one-handed use). I've done it and its not bad but I have big hands. My wife has very small hands and she has a hard time using one hand, so it really depends on the user.
Go to an AT&T store and play with both of them, see which one you like. We cant tell you because obviously we would be biased... otherwise you would see us in the Skyrocket forum.

i want all of your opinions on whether or not trade my iphone 4. unloackable for the galaxy NOTE.. can you tell me how long does the battery last on your phone and if it is worth to trade it
thanks
I used to carry both an iphone and an Android phone. After getting the note, I sold my iphone and use android full time.
the battery life is fine. if you are a heavy user, carry a spare battery.
I just switched from an iPhone 4 to the Note about 2 weeks ago. I have absolutely no regrets switching. I have always had an iPhone from the first one in 2007 up until 2 weeks ago and never saw myself switching because of how the build quality of apple and smoothness of iOS was. When I used a note for the first time it blew me away the progress that android has made over the years. While I still don't think the overall build quality of this phone is iPhone status everything else is better. As far as battery goes, unless you plan on trying to go multiple days without charging then it is a non issue. It gets through a day just fine. I will say the battery life does drop faster than my iPhones did but there's really no difference to me as the note gets me through the day with plenty to spare and I charge it every night anyway. Once you get a Note you'll wonder why you used such a small screen before.
I know the screen is really small on iphone .. I used the htc titan before .. N i am thinking of trading it . For a Note but im still in doubt .. Since i am with tmobile . The internet might be the same unless i put the hack to get 4G ..
Is the camera good on the note ?

the camera is brilliant.....great pics. i take pictures and can zoom in on the smallest details of that pic and see it clearly.
The battery life won't be quite as good add your iPhone, but it will still last you through a full day. I can pull about 16 hours total with 4 hours of screen time on a charge, but I try not to look at my phone for 25% of the day anyways. The screen will make you laugh at your iPhone. The iPhone has slightly higher pixel density, but once you go Super AMOLED HD, you won't go back. The SPen also brings more usefulness than you would think. Also, with Android, even without rooting and ROMing, you can still use rings of different kings of launchers, change how your icons look, use different keyboards, and perhaps the oldest argument, view flash content.
Don't get me wrong, I like the design of iPhones, minus the small screen, and their software does run smoothly, but after 3 Android phones there is no way I could go back. IPhones are just too limited for my tastes. With my 3g, I felt like I had a nice phone that could play some cool games. With my Note, I feel like I'm carrying with a tiny computer with limitless tools at my disposal. I also like when other people pick up my phone and have no clue how to use it, but it is still way more streamlined for my own personal use than an iPhone would be.
With Android you decide how you use your phone, not Apple.

I have ALWAYS blackballed Apple for the proprietary BS... I had to bend once when my wife brought home an ipod she found. I was pretty upset that I had to deflower my xpsl702x with itunes. I am ashamed of myself for allowing this to happen, but I would have been more ashamed of myself for not following my wifes requests.
Traded my iPhone 4 for a Note and I love it
I was a die hard apple zombie.. I once believed like all others that apple would cure world hunger. I traded my iphone 4 for a Motorola artrix then a international galaxy s2 then a skyrocket and now a galaxy note.. I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW THE RAIN IS GONE..
you will love the note..

There are a lot of Note users that came from the iPhone. I havent seen any regrets so far. I too came from the iPhone 4 to the Original GS2 then skyrocket...then the Note. It just got better everytime. Some iPhone users are way too stubborn to switch but I rather have choices than to "accept" what they give me.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
alright well I'm gonna trust you guys that the camera its really good quality thats what I'm more concern on.. cuz i am a picture fanatic...i wil b trading it for the note... if i don't like it how much are the notes selling for more less any idea ??

I like the camera on this phone more than the one on my old ip4. I can't speak for the 4s, but the note has a better camera than ip4.
You also have many more options inside the camera and quick options for uploading images to various apps from within the gallery.

do you experience any lag on the note??
ii will trade it but I'm afraid the size of the screen will b too much ...
has any of you tyried the 4g hack for tmobile also?
i chickened out on getting the note when i saw the size in person..im a iphone user 4 years and omg the iphone is so small i cant go back to it too small..youll get use to the size of the note..not really pocket friendly but depends on person to person..as for battery give it time to cycle and it will improve..but battery life depends on settings/use/rooted ect.. i love my note but sadly i have another pixel issuse so this one is going back to hopeful get another one with no pixel problems.. only thing i dont like is the camera speed capture its slow for me..battery could have been a 3000mah to give it a bit extra use..sometimes it lags depends how much ram your using and crash some apps could be bugs.. im stock GB..waiting for ICS real one..dont want to install root stuff right now
i switched from iphone to and i love my note will never go back to apple. my batt life is equal to my iphone so no complaints
Do it! If you don't like it I'll happly trade you an iphone 4 32gb unlocked with ssh saved for every firmware plus an otterbox case.

Hey everyone! I currently have the EVO 3D, and I was about to switch to the EVO 4G LTE, but then I saw the Samsung Galaxy S3. It looks amazing, but then again, I really like HTC Sense. What's your vote on both of these phones?
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
EVO Pros:
Dedicated Camera Button
Kickstand
Available May 18th (Sad, sad, sad.)
SGS3 Pros:
+100mAH size battery
Removable battery
Tossup:
Screen (SuperIPSLCD2 vs Pentile Super AMOLED)
Screen Size (4.7 vs 4.8)
Sense vs Stockwiz
Camera (Better lowlight photos vs newer sensor model)
GPU/Processor (100% same on US variants)
Design (Most would say the EVO is better designed)
No stated release date for Sprint's SGS3 variant.
SGS3 Pros:
S-off
There's no reason to believe the EVO 4G LTE won't get S-off eventually though, I hope.

I wonder which has the best camera, anyone has camera comparison on these devices or reviews of their camera and camera software, please share link
GS3 us version is said to be dual core 1.5 with 2 gigs of ram equals game over to the evo lte that still has not landed officially,2 gigs of ram would be more than amazing for androids power hungry os even tho tw does not drain as much as sense.

The SGS3 doesn't have S-Off; that's an HTC only deal. It doesn't even have a bootloader, technically. That's what Odin is for. It's a huge pita for switching between stock and AOSP roms. I don't know how well mobile Odin works because it wasn't out when I had my Fascinate, but we'll have S-Off soon.

He's been trolling around all HTC phones' forums telling people how much "better" the Samsuck Plasticky s3 is. Pathetic.
To the OP: Wait till the S3 comes out to the US, go to the store and try them both. There's no point asking other people's opinions. Doesnt matte which one you pick it will be able to
- make phone calls
- send text messages
- watch videos
- take photos
- surf the internet
- play games
You will be happy.
I don't care if the s3 has quad core a15 lte and 4 gigs of ram that is the ugliest piece of plastic I've ever seen... Just my opinion. And the blue one is purple

It doesn't work at all with odin. You have to have a windows PC or windows running on your mac. I had a problem with a GNEX and had to find a windows pc (one I had buried in storage that barely works) in order to fix that phone. Real pay.
Honestly using a mac for fastboot commands is real easy, but and .exe root, program (like odin), etc will not work on a mac.
That being said...here is what I base my opinion on. I have owed the following phones in the following order. OG Evo-> Evo 3d (disappointment) -> epic 4g touch (cool phone, horrible radios, etc) -> iphone 4s (7 months...great phone honestly, but iOS really got on my nerves) -> GNEX (great stock experience...but the screen and horrible battery life resulted in me re-selling it two weeks later) -> Evo LTE
The epic 4g touch was fast...and I gave it to my fiancee because it she loved the screen, and I got the iphone 4s. Well, the epic always gave us radio/cell signal problems. Sprint even credited my account $50 for it once and promised a fix. That fix never came. About a month back my fiancee was in a bad accident and could not call out to 911 due to no signal bug in the phone. I was pissed...and sprint gave her an upgrade, free of charge and a year and a half early, as a result. She is getting the Evo Lte as well...as soon as wirefly gets it to here. The GS3 may not have this problem...but it is a samsung and they often do, but I am not trying to bash it. I know my fiancee refuses to own a samsung now. I would never go that far....
But the Evo 4g LTE is hands down the best phone I have EVER owned. Better than the epic 4g touch, and it blows away the iphone 4s (which was better than the epic tough in my opinion). The screen is amazing, the radio (signal and 3g speeds) are great. The camera is fantastic (I did my own indepth experiment with the iphone 4s and evo lte..and the evo lte beat the iphone in every category including the camera). The battery life best my iphone 4s, and is what android has need for a long time. This phone has a few minor software bugs, but these will no doubt be fixed. Plus, if you are into roms, etc...this phone will not fail you. Some of the best devs I have ever seen are migrating here...plus the evo community is moving this way. The evo community is a shining example of what you want in a developer community for a phone. What is even better is this...you don't even need to root this phone unless you want to. It is the complete package out of the box.
I made the mistake of buying the galaxy nexus off ebay...and the screen and even more so the battery life made it unsuitable for my needs. Therefore I sold it (recouping the money) and sold the iphone 4s (shipped it today)...and still payed about full upgrade cost for this phone (got it off ebay for 550). I am not one to spend my money like that...I am rather tight (ask my fiancee)...but this was well work the cost. Is the Evo LTE $200 better than the iphone 4s? If you want a simple, iconic phone...then no. But the ability's of android combined with the screen size and quality alone made the Evo LTE worth the cost and more.
I say go get this phone. If you wait for the GS3...it will be great too...but no better than this phone. Plus, there is always something better around the corner. If there is a big advantage IOS has over android, it is the yearly refresh. Eliminates buyer remorse, etc.

Any Samsung phone. They have an interface for Odin, which is really the bootloader, but it's a program you run on a Windows box. There is no actual bootloader on a Samsung smartphone, just the interface for Odin.

Well Mobile Odin took out the need for a computer almost completely. Only time I actually needed to use a pc was to initially root & to unroot/return to stock before I sold back to BB.
