Is the back cover doors as well as batteries of the I9305, I9300, SGH-I747, T999 ect? Or which ones are with which other?

There IS one variant with different arrangement of the ports and connectors in the back but all standard battery doors are compatible across devices, since the device design itself is the same
The only problem could come with battery doors that come as a part of a wireless charging solution, as the standard arrangement of the contacts on the internal side of the battery door might not be compatible with the arrangement of the specific DIFFERENT variant
I'm sorry i'm so uninformative but i overheard this in a wireless charger review video that didn't go into specific details, but most likely it's either the american Verizon or Sprint variants, as they are CDMA and have LTE chips and radios inside, in general, American and Canadian variants are so different in hardware that perhaps those are the ones with different arrangements on the back
Reason I am asking is this site :

Well, the battery cover looks paintable (the only thing that could be a hassle would be the gloss finish). auto customization shops could do the sapphire black brushed metal finish for a probably small fee (since it's a small part)
IMHO, finding the exact same cover in black could be next to impossible, as per the description in the article, it is a generic part, and as such, it could come with this particular battery only or with many others, or perhaps only in black and blue (the black finish came out much later than the phone itself - that's the reason it may be impossible to find a black cover)
My only suggestion is to try paint shops, as the brushed metal finish could only be done with special tools, you can also try music stores... painting guitars is similar to painting cars AND in a smaller scale, so it is more likely they'll agree to paint the cover
Good luck my friend :highfive:
EDIT P.S: Remember the battery cover shape is the same for all S3 models, as the shape of the phone itself doesn't change between variants. Try looking for a cover like that one without specifying you're looking it for the I747 model

Having owned a TYTN and a TYTN2, I love HTC smartphones with keyboards. After spending a year with an Iphone 3G I have bought a Rhodium. The only problem is that I detest silver phones, so I have ordered one of thier OEM housings in black. I used a coupon code of TS20090701A for 20% off.
I'll post a teardown video and review of the housing once I receive it.
Those pics look to be the sprint version casing.
does this fit on the normal rodium here in the netherlands??
i like the backplate how much is it??

Agreed.
I hope the OP doesn't have a standard Rhodium otherwise there may be a bit of a fitting nightmare when it comes to relocating the ExtUSB port because of the extra 3.5mm jack on the Sprint version!
wow i cant wait to see it opened up i have the t-mobile usa version and would like to know if i could change the housing, the people are right about that silver one bieng the sprint version but i think the black one on the sight is probly the oem htc touch pro 2. I tried to enlarge the pic and it didnt let me so i could not see the rear cover but on the red version the back was the same as the unbranded touch pro 2 good luck with the install i will subscribe. In any case has aanyone tried to open the us t-mobile version and see if the guts are the same as the unbranded version?
That case "looks" more like the T-Mobile one. Notice the Battery Cover, from what I can tell in those screen shots the stylus doesn't go through it like the Verizon/Sprint/HTC/AT&T versions. Of course it's not a true T-Mobile one because it does have the tapered edge around the screen (Bazel).
Its the Sprint TP2 housing.

I have received the casing and there is no way to make it work with the T7373 model.
I have emailed the supplier and askerd for an exchange for the correct, albeit orange, model.
So far no response from the vendor...
I've emailed twice asking about exchange.
agitprop, what makes it impossible to adapt? Is it the shape of the T-mobile frame that won't fit in the other housing? Or is it the touchscreen?
If it's the touchscreen, you can buy an alternate version that will fit the Sprint housing, they're all over ebay for about US$30.
Be sure...
To notice that the one pictured above is yes the Sprint version but on top of that the Sprint version has both the mini-usb port AND the 3.5mm jack, so for a t-mobile touch pro this isn't going to work, or at least you'll have gaps.
I was looking at the silver one on their site and might go with it, since looking at the picture closely it appears to only have a hump on the back for the mini-usb port.
Buddy of mine has the Verizon version of the TP2 and I must say it looks a little nicer that the T-mobile one, it actually "looks" smaller as the edges are mor rounded off, hence why I'm interested in the silver on on that site.
Are there any other technical reasons why the case you purchased will not work? Please explain.

Just curious if we could swap battery covers.
I have been wondering the same thing -- would the battery cover from a Verizon TP2 or Sprint TP2 fit on the GSM/AT&T Tilt2? The only thing I can see being a problem is the fact that CDMA models have the 3.5mmm headphone jack next to the mini-USB connector so the area where both of those are located might be a little wider than the GSM models.
Has anyone tried putting a CDMA battery cover on a GSM TP2?
According to this, the CDMA variants are a different size than the GSM variants - so my guess would be no, it won't work.
Thanks for posting the link. I actually went to a Verizon store tonight and held my Tilt2 upto their TP2 and I did notice that the piece where the headphone jack & mini usb are on the Verizon one is wider than the Tilt2, so combining that first hand experience with what's on the link you posted, it's pretty safe to say you're right.
GSM Touch Pro 2 Housing w/Rubberized Back Cover
There are several vendors selling TP2 housing sets on eBay and elsewhere, which include a rubberized battery cover. As far as I can tell, these all say they are designed for the T7373 version of the TP2, which I believe is the original GSM HTC TP2. I have the AT&T Tilt 2, which I believe is the T7377, but from what I have been able to gather, the housings are the exact same except for slight coloring differences.
First, can anyone confirm if indeed the battery cover from the original HTC GSM TP2 (T7373) will fit on a AT&T Tilt 2 (T7377)? And second, has anyone else out there bought one of these aftermarket housings and tried putting the battery cover on either of these two devices? Does it fit?
I REALLY wish HTC/AT&T would just sell an OEM rubberized cover -- better yet, wish they just included it on the device in the first place. Doesn't anyone test these things for usability before they ship them??? The phone gets warm from the battery, which in turn makes your hand sweat from holding it, which makes the stupid glossy cover even more slippery than it is dry. I don't get it, who is making these horrible design decisions -- AT&T? HTC? Sorry for venting!!

Confirmed. I bought a T7373 cover, it fits my Tilt2 just fine. No PTT button, of course.
T7373 Cover fits T7377
Thanks so much for letting me know! Yes, I can live without the Push To Talk button.
Did you buy the genuine OEM one for the original HTC GSM Touch Pro 2 (the silver cover)? or did you buy one of the housing sets from the vendors in Hong Kong -- if so, which vendor did you buy from?

Just the battery cover. I got it from MSG Digital, but it looks like they took down their listing for the product.
Hi,
I bought recently the battery for my Samsung Galaxy S3.
I'm not sure whether it's fake or not, but compared to my old battery there is one difference:
The label's tip is rounded.
Here are photos:
I hope someone can help me
Defozo
Looks original.
Myn original battery has also round tips.
I think it's a fake, mainly because on mine says that it's fabroque in korea and asembled in vietnam, not in china lime yours, and packaging is not original samsung, how os the quality of black plastic on top and bottom? It has to be perfect without any small bumps or glitches.
Oh yeah, and if you want to be sure, remove the samsung sticker to see underneatj and see if the nfc connector cables are good quality and as straight as a perfect line.
Hey ,
bought the gray strap in ebay here (although it's mocha color)
just received it today.
And it feels a lot different from the strap that came with the watch (I have the white one).
the texture is completely different , the mocha strap is a lot stiffer.
also attached pictures of the package.
question is , how can I tell if it's original or not?
Thanks

everything samsung that is white feels weird. Even their phone covers, my wife and I have the edge and I have a black cover while she got the white. both genuine samsung but the white is way more plastic feeling, same for the other phones. considering that theres like zero alternatives for bands and samsung is always out of stock, if it fits then roll with it.
nice find though, thats the cheapest Ive seen including shipping, may have to pick one up for myself.

the mocha feels like harder cheap plastic
the seller response
Got a response from my seller who talked to Samsung. this is pretty much satisfying :
Regarding your question, I asked Samsung technician in Samsung Service in Korea and he said that Samsung uses different raw materials to make good color/ shape of each strap as follows.
A. Material of “White strap” is fluoro rubber.
B. Materials of “Gray strap” are urethane and silicon.
There are big difference of materials, consisting of white strap and gray strap. That’s why you feel difference.
There are 5 different strap colors from Samsung.
White strap is a lot smoother and flexible than other colors such as Gray, Black, Blue and Red strap.
another official reply from Samsung :
Unfortunately, there's not a code or anything that you could check on replacement bands for this device to ensure authenticity. We do recommend purchasing from official Samsung retail places to be sure you're purchasing original accessories. However, I can tell you that some of the different colors do have a different feel to them than others. The white straps are softer/more pliable
hope I helped someone somewhere.
So after reading a bunch of posts about adding wireless charging and looking at a lot of QI+ NFC receivers on eBay and Amazon I had a question for you lot. The first few I saw had a heat spreading tape (the security sticker basically had copper on it to spread the heat) and haven't seen many since then (can't even find the originals that did). Should I worry about this? We all know this phone can get really hot. Yes I've applied some patches to help with it, but still, I was concerned!
If anyone could point me to a QI+NFC receiver that does have it, or an after market heat spreading security sticker, that'd be great! I'd also like to double check that the replacement NFC sticker continues to work with tags as well as beaming to another phone! (I'm asking because my GF got the Sprint Galaxy S4 and it doesn't seem to even acknowledge tags like mine does, ps, am using whiztag ntag216). Also, I'm using a Spigen Slim Armor case and want to make sure wireless charging works through it and NFC (tags and beaming) continue to work through it as well.
Thanks guys

Heat spreader? My Verizon G3 (VS985) does not come with a heat spreader, but the NFC coil does look a bit like one. I replaced it with a white Qi+NFC sticker from ebay. There are two pieces. A black coil sticker with 4 contact points, and a white sticker that goes on top of the coil sticker (probably for protection). Qi charging works for 1 cm or so separation, and has no problem working through my Spigen Ultra Fit case. Not sure which variant of G3 you have, but make sure you have 4 contact pins on the back on your phone. Some G3 variant has two and does not support Qi.
I think one of the videos I watched initially showing installation mentioned the second sticker (to hold everything in place) was referred to as a heat spreader, which I read as a heat sink.
It is definitely not a heat spreader. It is a plastic-like sticker to keep the NFC sticker in place. My old Nexus 5 runs much hotter than my G3, so no need to worry about the heat issue.
