I've found the best looking and detailed theme, compatible with our touchpad (tested on AOKP Remix CM9 1202 by SGA)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927128
To install it you need to apply default system theme, set your DPI to 140, reboot, then apply MotoInspired theme in themechooser, set DPI back to 160 and reboot again.

Wow, great work! I'd consider it if it didn't remind me so much of my unsupported Atrix... Anyways, I'd like to get info on the performance widget that's in the status bar. I've seen it pop up in a few screenshots, but never mentioned. (or maybe I simply overlooked,) if you can point me in the right direction, that would be great, thanks!

Using a root-enabled file manager (Solid Explorer or ES File Explorer for example), go to the root directory, locate system, then locate media inside it. Copy/paste the bootanimation.zip file there and set the permissions to rw-r--r--, or:
[X][X][0]
[X][0][0]
[X][0][0]
(X is checked, 0 is unchecked)
Or if you have adb enabled, follow these commands:
adb remount
adb push C:\path\to\directory\with\bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb shell chmod 644 /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb reboot

No don't create one.
With your ES file enable root privileges in settings and go up level into root/local and you will see it.

Hello!
I made a little modification to the systemui.apk file so the statusbar become transparent, I didn't make it 100% transparent just to keep the icons readable whatever is the wallpaper!

Using ZIP file with Metamorph from the market:
-Delete the original systemui.apk first
-Flash the GlassArc.zip file with metamorph
I don't know if the metamorph file is working well (ZIP file)
Using Rootexplorer or Astro Files:
-Put the systemui.apk file in a folder in your SD card.
-Open RootExplorer backup then delete the original systemui.apk in system/framework and copy the new file from the SD into System/framework folder.
-Reboot
For people who can't get the transparent statusbar try ADW Launcher and disable wallpaper hack
Looking so good Thanks... I want to try it but i am scared to mess up
Thanks.
Looks quite harmonic with default SE launcher.
Installed via Root explorer:
1. copy new systemUI.apk to /system
2. set permissions
3. move it to system/app (not to system/framework - it's a mistake)
Also, I've noticed that when you open (i.e. slide down) notifications, the bar itself still remains transparent while background is gray. Is it possible to fix it?

Here it is guys, the notification toggle mod for our phones!

Awesome! I was waiting for something like this since I bought my Neo. This was what I missed more in the stock rom compared to the custom ones.
I can now disable the widgetsoid status bar widgets
Edit: it works perfectly! As expected when enabling the GPS toggl you'll have to click accept on the pop-up window that will appear under the notification bar.
Great work!
You can use the older version is not ?
WOW!! I really want this in my NEO. Thank you.
Then this is the status bar is now available somewhere? How to install and how do I unload the airplane mode, h, or what appears in the status bar?
Sorry it has been!

Hy! The app have the same issues like the "Home Launcher with Dock". I can't add large widgets (4*4)
I edited a little the apk and:
-in res/xml folder theres a default_settings_desktop.xml file. If i edit example the "favourites" widget parameters to Height/weight 4 then the widget appears good!
That's mean the app have issues with the "adding widgets" But wheres the xml they need to be edited?

You're right, so far - that's the way to do this and so I made it, too.
I have two sola phones (both ICS, rooted), tried different statusbars on them and every time the system stopped after a short time, i copied the systemUI.apk file to the app folder. Think, its because of you are copying a a new file over a running (system-) file. I used once the solid explorer (still beta, but fine) and then the ES file explorer.
But after a reset all things were ok and the status bars worked ok. Thx to the developers...
No matter, I just wanted to tell, if this happens (system stop) - just make a reset and all will be fine. :good:
Simple and does the work, thanks!
