Hello often it happened to me that the camera app will crash when i stop video recording.
As a result the file is corrupted. It has its full size (ex:300mo) but can't be opened by anything.
Does anyone knows a way to recover the video (and audio..) from those corrupted files? Hope so..

I know it's an old thread but someone may google it...
I'd like to let you know that I'm working on an app to fix such broken video files.
You can find more info in Video Repair thread.

Hi,
If this problem was discussed before please help me to locate one. And to my problem is that, when I record video then play it back the audio is a bit slower than video. How can I fix that ?

1. Stock rom or modified? rom name if modified?
2. are you recording direct to your EXT SD card? have your tried with internal and compared?
3. using bluetooth or anything?
How are we supposed to help you with these informations you provided?
Sorry all for coming late, and not provide enough info in the previous. Just now I switched to Android revolution 3.0.0 by Mike1986, however I haven't tested out video yet. Will inform here when I get the result.
Thanks for your help.

Oh guys please help. Im on the stock 2.3.4 rom and no root. I took a video and it cant open. I tried take a video on secondary camera but it did again. I tried take video on some camera apps and they said "recording stop abnormally" (says on ucam). What should i do? When i look video details there will not a article without video name.
I am so sorry for my bad english (maybe i wrote this wrong lol) I hope you will understand it.
File this under Stupid Questions. But i've been using the 4.2 camera (with photosphere) since it was released and only just wanted to shoot video with it. I go about shooting a 9 minute clip and can't for the life of me find out where the video was stored. Is there a bug with this cam and videos? Or am i just missing the storage location completely? No clues in the settings of the camera. I'm at a loss as to where my video went. Could someone enlighten me?
/sdcard/dcim/camera but i dont think video is working. at least it doesnt for me. only get a file when shooting 1080 but it is messed up. 720 and 480 wont even save a file for me.
Guys, this is a known bug. 4.2 video cam does not work. A quick search would have gave you this answer.

video not working is a known bug but he was asking where the files are stored. i just added that extra info.
Alright so I got my Z2 yesterday and I was eager to try Timeshift Video but I can't get the hang of it. I record a video and it saves it as 120fps in Album and then that's it. I can't seem to find the option to selectively slow down parts of the video in edit mode before saving it. Can anyone help me? I'm most probably missing something here. :/

It has to show up the "slow-down interface" right after you took the video.
That's weird, I don't get that at all, it just skips to being able to record a new one..
Any idea why?
Edit: fixed it, I had disabled movie creator app and that's where it was. Working now
Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm just using bad search terms or what, but I haven't been able to come up with anything.
I know something similar must be out there! Apologies if it's easy to find and I've just overlooked it...
What I'm looking for is a Video Recording/Camcorder App that streams live to YouTube, G-Drive or even my own Server.
Just want to be able to shoot video and have it safely stored offsite immediately...
(Not like the stock camcorder app that let's you share and upload the video post shooting)
I mean if someone grabbed the phone out of your hand whilst recording, it would still be there.
Does anybody have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Bren
