*start
flashing ok
the new system is ics 4.0.3
2 -
*turn on the phone to download mode (volume button down + home + power)
*use odin with option:
PDA: GT-I9100G_ICS_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.1.2.tar
*start
flashing ok
3 -
copy to sdcard : root.zip + cm-10-20121204-NIGHTLY-i9100g.zip + gapps-jb-20121130-signed.zip
*turn on the phone to recovery mode (volume button up + home + power)
go to install zip from sdcard
go to choose zip from internal sdcard
flash with root.zip and restart phone to recovery mode
flash with cm-10-20121204-NIGHTLY-i9100g.zip
flash finally with gapps-jb-20121130-signed.zip
do a wipe data / facotry reset
but when i restart the phone it get stuck to SGS2 i9100g boot animation
the phone does not reach the home screen
other thing i noticed is CWM is now v6.0.1.9
Is it the correct steps to install CM10.1 and how to make my phone start correctly ?
thanks in advance !

Didnt you wipe data/factory reset first?? Turn off or remove the battery. put the battery back. get to recovery (Vol up+home+power). In recovery wipe data. Then install zip from sd..
My advice for you is not flash cm 10.1 try a cm10 or any other stable rom.

Hello everyone! Would really appreciate your help... I updated my s3 to JB via OTA last month, had issues with slow charging so i decided to flash back to official ICS firmware, specific to my device (Philippines Globe - I9300XXBLHI August build from samfirmware) earlier this week. Did the prescribed process, set my s3 on download mode, used odin v3.07, flashed in PDA. Result at odin was Pass! But my s3 did not reboot. It got stuck in download mode (where it says downloading.. Download bar now is full but it did not auto reset even if the tick box in odin for auto reboot is checked). Tried searching xda, this forum, for a solution, but i couldn't find any.. Can anyone help me? This is as far as my android trouble shooting will go.. Really appreciate your help.. Thank you in advance..
First boot to recovery and factory reset .
Second flash a stock firmware .
jje
thought of that..Tried booting the phone to recovery mode (power + vol up + home) it doesnt work..it goes into a white noise screen, it only boots to download mode..
Any other suggestions? Or alternatives to access recovery mode so i can do a wipe?
go to download mode and flash a firmware
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Thats what ive been trying to do..
how about flashing another jelly bean firmware
and then back to ICS
usually factory reset solved that kinda problem
Sent from my GT-I9300
After you download the official firmware reboot into recovery and wipe data that should solve your problem
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app

I hope it's useful for you :good:
Ok, will try that now!

Download it here "do wnlo ad.chainfire.e u/196/CF-Root/SGS3/CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.zip" (Delete spaces) (Credits to Chainfire) and flash the .tar file with Odin 3.07 at PDA section.
Regards :good:
Ok, done! It rebooted and i got this message after "firmware update encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again" with the phone to yellow triangle to pc icon. So i go to kies? Or try recovery mode first?
Tried flashing official ICS for my device via odin after I flashed CF root, the phone reboots but it boots to the "firmware upgrade encountered an issue screen..Tried flashing official JB, same outcome..
Tried accessing recovery mode, volume up+power+home, still same message..I can access download mode though..
Am I getting somewhere? progress??

did you try flash CF-root 6,4 using Odin?
Use THIS for flashing, with PIT, bootloader etc - follow the screenshots, and use Odin shown there.
Good luck.
Firstly, you need to receive root and install clockworkmod recovery the you will process up rom step by step in here:
Pressing together to Volume Up + Ok button (or home button) + power button then Recovery Mode will appear. you need to wipe All everything such as: Wipe Cache, wipe data, wipe bettery...and now you chose on Install Zip from SD card and chose Rom you need to flash You can Download Here:
CyanogenMod 7 moded as ICS:
https://hotfile.com/dl/236593774/5c8ac0d/Simplicity_v3_final_edition_Eng.zip.html
This Rom Moded as Jelly Bean:

And here is Stock Rom :

Here it is
This method has worked for me numerous of times after coming back from another ROM, or when I just miss using Slimbean....
IF your in stock, and want a clean memory on phone You may use this code to reformat the SDCard *2767*3855# (type on dialer) will delete everything)
phone memory=internal memory
put update.zip http://sourceforge.net/projects/stockodinjfd/files/update.zip/download
on your phone memory.
Download slimbean vibrant 4.2.2 ROM ONLY and put it on your phone memory ***no need to download gapps for 4.2.2 if your not going to use the rom***
put slimbean 4.3.1. official 2.2. on phone memory
put gapps 4.3 also in phone memory if your going to be using gapps...
alright,
1.
Unplug the USB (assuming you are still connected after using ODIN)...
Hold down volume up + volume down + Power for about 9 seconds.
If you prefer, you can power off your phone, then hold in all 3 buttons to boot into recovery, I don't see the point in waiting for the phone to power off.
This will get you to a recovery menu (blue/purple text) after some yellow text.
2.
In this (the stock recovery menu) select 'Reinstall Packages'
Use volume to navigate + power to select.
3.
It will cycle a bit, you will see that yellow text again, then it will return to the stock recovery. Select Reinstall packages again.
You are now in CWR (clockwork recovery).
4. install 4.2.2
during this installation your boot will random boot. If stuck on vibrant logo, remove battery and go to recovery mode. This means Semaphone kernel was installed. semaphore recovery should come up
5. factory wipe/ system clear/ etc, ***wipe how you would wipe everything to go get a clean flash***
6. install slimbean 4.3.1
*Optional, then install gapps 4.3 ***if you dont install gapps you wont have google playstore unless you use apk***
7. wipe cache & dalvik cache
reboot
load time 3-6 mins, let it breath....
Hit thanks if it worked for you
thanks all sloved problem
Hi!
I'm a owner of Samsung Galaxy S2, GT-i9100. I always installed a stock unbranded firmware. The last firmwares I installed using MobileOdin from phone. I'm not at advance user for flashing and modding the phone. I never do a wipe or something more advance. My phone is rooted, because MobileOdin allow that.
Now I would like to install the SuperNexus 4.0 - I9100 - Build 1 firmware. I thinks is I looking for a lite firmware with out bloatware and a update Android version.
Reading the post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583611 I have some doubts.
The instruction are:
Instructions:
First time installing SuperNexus 4.0 to your device, or coming from another ROM:
- Copy Google Apps and SuperNexus ROM into your internal SD Card
- Boot into Recovery (Volume up + Home + Power)
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Flash SuperNexus ROM
- Flash Google Apps package
- Reboot your device
It is possible to install the with MobileOdin this firmware?
If not, I have installed: Room Manager from play.google.com (Premium) for my phone, that is needit?
The flash SuperNexus ROM and Google Apps is at the same time?
Thanks in advance!

The instructions are quite simple and straight forward... Just follow it.. u dont e1 need a pc to flaash the rom into ur phone. Y try odin when u can do it with just the phone???
And Rom manager is not needed for this..
Turn the phone off first. And then boot(turn ur phone on) into recovery mode as mentioned in the instructions by keeping al 3 buttons(vol up + home + power) pressed..
ur phone then boots into recovery.. 'Wipe data and factory reset' option can b seen right ther.. Jus select it..
once done,
(u might hav to flash a kk supporting kernel b4 flashin the supernexus rom.. u can get this here.
Flash tn from ur sdcard by selecting 'install zip' option and selecting the kernel file. Once done, goto advanced->reboot recovery. Once it reboots,)
goto 'instal zip' again and select the supernexus rom zip file there and wait for it to complete flashing..
then goto advanced->wipe dalwik cache.
then flash gapps in a similar way and again wipe dalvik cache and then reboot system from main recovery menu.
Its quite simple!
all the best! :good:
^^^^
Good advice.
Also, OP - remove Rom Manager from your phone right now. Unless you'd like to end up with bootloop, busted recovery & possible data loss (caused by not doing backups & having to do a factory reset in order to fix your phone). Rom Manager does not play nice with the I9100.
Thanks! I installed with out issues the ROM. It's great. My major doubt was how to update de CWM.
Again, thanks!
I need to resolve the camera issue, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583611&page=8, the message #73.
I try to delete o remplace the camera apk and is not possible. I am using ES File Explorer with root privilegies but I can rename, delete or copy to /system/apps directory.
I need to use other application?
thanks!

Reboot to recovery (Vol Up+ Home+Power) and wipe data.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Tested on: i9300 (S3 int). May work on other versions.
I have tried everything that you can find in xda-developers, Google and Youtube. None of these worked. After deleting/wiping my EFS folder multiple times and having absolutely no backup, here is what I did to revive my S3:
Short:
Install stock 4.3 ROM, flashed modified Modem and then Kernel. That's all.
Detailed:
Make a back-up of the data you don't want to lose.
Hold Volume Down + HOME + Power to get into Download mode.
Flash latest TWRP recovery via Odin. Exit Odin.
Hold Volume UP + HOME + Power to get into recovery.
Swipe to allow modifications. Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage. Swipe to Wipe.
Go to recovery home. Reboot -> Power Off.
Hold Volume Down + HOME + Power to get into Download mode.
Go to sammobile [link here] and download a 4.3 stock firmware.
Flash firmware (ends with *.tar.md5) with AP button. (This will take a while).
The phone will reboot when finished flashing. If it takes more than 10 minutes, get into stock recovery and wipe cache and restart.
Download this Modem and Kernel: *[link or attachment here] .
Connect phone to PC and transfer the downloaded Modem and Kernel.
Hold Volume Down + HOME + Power to get into Download mode.
Flash TWRP recovery via Odin. Exit Odin.
Hold Volume UP + HOME + Power to get into recovery.
Install -> Install Modem.
Go back -> Install -> Install Kernel.
Done! Now you can wipe everything and install whatever ROM you like.
*[I cannot attach or post links?
Search i9300+4.3+network+problem.rar in Google, open Samsung i9300 4.3 network repair?[ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum link, 4th post.
]
can you please post the Modem and Kernel links or send them by pm
Flashing the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com will automatically flash the latest modem and kernel for the phone.
