I had this happen to me once, never tried it again. I would work on wifi but not on 3g, never tested with LTE.
Don't know if there is a fix for that...

yeah, doesn't work on LTE/3G...wifi is fine. Will restore proxies tonight to confirm

I personally haven't tried it but it just occurred to me, what if you try just removing one setting at a time?

specifically, adding back in the HTTPSD setting fixed it (I had thought RTSP would have fixed it)
Guess i never used youtube enough or never used it while on 3G/4GLTE.
I can confirm that with the edited info on 4G LTE on my EVO LTE that youtube didnt work.
Put the original settings back in and it does work on 4G LTE..

Im using stock because I love it, but all of my recieved texts are coming in from an hour later, even though my phone says current time. So when i reply, my messages aren't at the bottom. I cleared data, rebooted, no go. Anyone know how to fix?
It was working fine until i went across the border from eastern timezone to central, then the phone has ever since had this bug...!

I have the same problem, I never had this problem with my Evo. I did not take the OTA so I dont know if that fixed it.
Mine are three hours off. But my phone is roaming alot also. Stupid old Touch Pro 2 never roamed this much...

The only thing the OTA actually did was update a few apps... the phone doesn't reboot after finishing or anything. Doesn't change any of the radios or anything from what I noticed.
Would a factory reset fix this? I'm not roaming anymore and it's still displaying an hour later.

download "sms time fix" from the market like jaskwith said, set it to use phone time and BAM! your troubles are gone. this is an easy fix. no need for a hard reset
I recommend simply updating your Profile and PRL on your device. I had that happen to a friend and once I updated those two things for her, her problem went away.
So, I'm trying to run the SpeedTest.net application, and when it goes to find the closest server, it keeps saying "Network communications issues." Is anyone else having this problem? I can browse, and everything seems to be working fine. This is the only thing that's not working.

Sake issue here. Buddy of mine Tampa had the issues last night on WiFi AND 3G but has since been resolved for him. I am having issues on both too. Has not been resolved for me yet. He said that afterwards his speeds climbed to above 2MB on Sprint 3G after it was resolved though.

I have this problem too. I'm not certain if this is the case for you, but it is for me, my 3G service disconnects every minute or so for some reason. Because of that, it is difficult for the speedtest to complete.

I had this problem too.
I had this app added from a mybackup pro. Uninstalled and reinstalled speedtest and all is working fine.
I have had the same thing happen with other apps...most work fine, but a few require the uninstall/reinstall routine.

i kept running into network errors when i first got the phone but since changing from LTE/CDMA to just CDMA the error has yet to come back, when i drop signal for longer then 2-3 min it asks for my time zone

OK, I'm not sure if anyone one else has or is experiencing a data connection problem with Verizon's 4g toggling off and on. I know I "was" and this is my theory and it has actually worked for me but first let me start from beginning. I got new tbolt because having this issue, I rooted and install ROM and everything seem as it was fine until I decided to connect to myverizon app and as soon as I did I started experiencing the toggling off and on again. So I decided to un-install myverizon app and reflash radio again and sure enough everything fine now. Well like I said just my theory but I think if u log in to myverizon app its causing this data problem. Inconclusion if you un-install myverizon app and reflash radio you shouldn't have any more data connection problems.

I constantly have to log in to My Verizon app. It's just part of how the ROM that im using works. I'm running Jellyblur 1.3 and have 4G data drops without even moving my phone on my desk at work. Considering I don't stay logged into My Verizon, I don't see how uninstalling it and reflashing my radio would make a difference. I love a good conspiracy theory though!

I'm saying don't use at all. Yes to update to see how much data u have used u have to constantly log in to update. What I'm saying is if u don't use at all don't even log in to myverizon. Give it a try... Delete myverizon don't re install flash radio again and tell me if your data connection is still dropping.

I did flash the .9 radio afterwards and noticed no drops now. I can't confirm the correlation between the drops and My Verizon. It could just strictly be that this radio version works better for me. Sorry, boss, but I like where your head's at!

For what it's worth, I never installed the My Verizon app on any of my ROMs and only had it while stock, which was a year ago. I still got major 4G connectivity issues a few months ago like so many others. Made the phone damn unusable at times.

I went radio happy a month ago and flashed them like they were ROMs. Tried probably 5 or 6 of them. I even tried different combinations of CDMA and LTE radios separately. No significant changes although the .9 or .19 radios seem to work equally well for me.

i was having this problem with juice defender and i switched to the beta and now im fine it may be a program like that causing your problems
Just flashed CM 10.1 and Gapps and upon first bootup it's asking me to activate. Do I need to activate or can I skip it?
I installed Meanbean before this and it didn't ask me to activate so I'm a little confused.

Did you just s-off your phone, regardless when you try to make a call, sprint will pick up and fix it for you if you are not able to make calls.

Yeah, I S-off'd via DirtyRacun right before flashing the rom.
Just skipped it and I can still make calls so no worries.

If I recall right, when deck very first built CM10, people got the activate message and it actually really borked a couple phones. There's even big red bold type in the OP referring to it. But that was long ago, and not on 10.1

So I noticed I can't receive some texts and I went to update my PRL and profile but I get error 1012 anyone know a way to fix this? I'm on the latest viper and latest radio and have no issues with data

What PRL are you currently on?
Also, keep in mind that your PRL has to do with roaming, so it shouldn't have any bearing on sending text messages (unless you're roaming). Your issue could be with Sprint and their service in your area, and not with the phone itself.

The most current PRL is 25015.....fyi.
Also, the issue may not be on your end-it may lie with whoever is sending you texts.

If you get that error you can try updating first over WiFi. I'd also do a reboot first. Once that works you can call sprint and they will refresh your connection on their side.

This happened to a friend of mine and he said he had fixed it by putting his phone on cdma only... I think sprint working on the towers was causing the issue... Not sure if this will work but doesn't hurt to try

There are usually many quick fixes for me when that happens, such as toggling airplane mode, rebooting, wiping and flashing my rom. One thing I've noticed is that having more than one sms app tends to make my messages not send, so if you have more than one messaging app I suggest deleting the non stock app and re-trying

I've tried all that heck I've deactivated then reactivated the device and still nothing I'm starting to think its a hardware issue

I suggest taking it into your nearest sprint store and asking about it then, maybe they'll be able to replace your phone unless your warranty is dead

I think I was having the same problems back on my Blackberry, Sprint had to reconfigure my service or something, I can't really remember. But if nothing you do with PRLs/Phone systems then contact them to see if they just need to re-provision your line or something along those lines.
So I ran an ruu today brought and now they're sending me a new one now I'm rocking and EVO

I just started having problems sending and receiving text messages this evening. I can't get anything to go out or come in. My Samsung Galaxy S2 isn't having these problems. Time to do some investigating...
