[Q] Internal Storage & SD Card Issues - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am on CM10 10-20121126 and am having an issue mounting my SD card.
In CM10 when I mount USB storage, it mounts the internal storage. I cannot seem the find a setting to change this, but I was wondering if it is a naming issue with the internal storage. If I use the built in file manager I see that my internal storage is named sdcard0. Maybe it is just me not knowing how to use the software, but I could not change it to look at the SD card. So I downloaded ES File Explorer. Once again I see internal being named sdcard0 and now I can finally see the SD card, it is named sdcard1. The card is good and with ES File Explorer I can see data, copy, etc...

Download multimount to be able to.mount both internal and external

Access to 2gb SD card?

I'm on astro and cannot seem to find the directory to access the 2gb SD card. All i see is the sdcard directory, which is the main internal mem.

Accessing storage

I feel like a newb here with a tablet. I have the view and I have added a 16GB microsd that I have loaded with video. I wanted to copy my music to the tablet storage. How would I go about doing that? Could I just copy it to the /system/media folder or would that put it on the internal storage? Or is that something we won't be able to do until we get rooted?
Internal storage is mounted to /sdcard. The Micro SD card slot is mounted to /sdcard2.

[Q] External SD Card direction

I cant seem to get files from external sd card within some programs.Like psx4droid or FPse.When it comes to select bios,it shows me a file browser. There is one folder "sdcard" but its the internal sd card and i cant find the directory for the external sd card.
yeah,yeah,10 gb are a lot of but i want to use my sdcard too
Samsung have moved the location where it's mounted to and some apps which are hard coded can't find it.
If you can go up a directory from sdcard to mnt you will then find extSdCard containing your ROMs.
yeah,my bad.i found it!
thank you very much

[Q] 2 x internal / 1x external storage (partition)

Hallo,
For a moth or so my Note runs on a Custom JB ROM.
and today i wanted to install the new TomTom app.
i requires me to download a additional 3.1 GB
but i says that theirs not enough memory available.
that's strange, i just put in a brand new 16gb SD card.
so i checked the storage info.
Internal 1,9GB
internal(second??) 11GB
SD-card 15GB
on default in installs apps on the fist Internal memory,
so if transferred i to SD.
BUT in transferred it to the Second internal memory instead of the SD-card.
so i checked the form and found out that i can change a file to mount de SD as internal,
but than i have 11GB of lost space on my phone,

How this can be done? I would sacrifice only 1.8 GB.

You NEED to have root acces,
-install "Root Explorer"
-Open en go to Root/etc
-Open "vold.fstab" (with Text Editor)
you wil see
#internal SD card
dev mount sdcard0 /storage/sdcard0 11 /devices/platform/......
#extrenal Sdcard
dev mound sdcard1 /storage/sdcard1 auto /devices/.....
#internal: if you change the name from sdcard0 to sdcard1,
#extrenal: and on the sdcard1 to sdcard0
and reboot.
now it wil see the real extrenal SD card as a Internal, and its posible to install app on the card
I don't know anything about the 2nd internal storage you have but to directly install anything in the sdcard install link2sd from this link--
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5idWFrLkxpbmsyU0QiXQ..
then go to settings and change download location to external

Thas doen't work.
the problem is that the system and all of the apps sees the second internal memory (11GB) as sdcard0 and if i transfer a app it goes to this one and not the REAL extreme SD card (sdcard1)

How to move-link data from internal sd to internal storage?

My phone with Android O has an unfortunate partition table atm - large internal storage, small internal "sd" storage.
To my surprise, many apps insist to put their data on the sd parition like offline maps or email storage. So atm, half my internal storage is empty, and my sd is full :-\
All tools I have found move data/apps from the internal storage to the (external) sd card (apps2sd, link2sd, appmgr), and anything I have tried (Directory Bind, Folder Mount) aren't successful move-linking the "Android" folder on the sd to the internal storage. Moving and symlinking with the shell doesn't work either.
Question: Is there any app/way to make apps use the internal storage instread of the internal sd card (if they offer no config option)? Thanks!
.. Answering my own question:
After another day of fooling around I discovered that apps2sd "Folder Mount" tool can be mis-used to link external to internal with the "bind" option, even though it insists with a warning screen that this very thing shouldn't be done
