Frustrating issue. I keep getting error 941 messages from market. Have cleared data and cache in market multiple times as well as uninstalling updates but to no avail. Has anyone experienced similar? Stock ROM/kernel but rooted.

Seems to be happening to a lot of users. I've had lots of reports and tried to buy an app myself and got the same error.
just bought an app and having the same issue...
my phone is stock (not even rooted) so that can't be the issue.

I'm a dev, and starting from today, I'm receiving A LOT of customer reporting the 941 error..... WTF Google?
At least I now know it isn't something that I did. On a related note, but not directly, could anyone try downloading picspeed wallpapers from the Play Store and tell me if you get an installation error, error -24 during install?
google had an outage the other day, you can usally also clear data on googleframework services and it should clear up alot of erros as well
I had this too

I had this yesterday when trying to buy an app on my note. I emailed Google play support with the issue and it was resolved within few hours.

Has anyone else tried to purchase music from the Android Market (the new version of the app, not the website) and got a message saying "Error retrieving information from server"? I've tried this on Pool Party 1.6 on the Fascinate, and on MIUI 11/18 on my wifi-only Captivate. I already tried clearing app data and cache, to no avail. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone seen John Connor?
I got this too, but later realized it was because my credit card info was expired and i forgot to update.

My info is current, as the web version does allow me to make purchases, only the app doesn't.
Has anyone seen John Connor?
I'm getting the exact same error when trying to purchase music from the market app. I can purchase apps just fine but not music. I was hoping the new market app that came out a couple of days ago would help but no luck. Like you, I've tried clearing app data and cache. I also tried uninstalling the Music app, removing the authorization for the phone in Music Manager, reinstalling and setting everything back up but that didn't help either.
Has anyone had an issue where paid apps are no longer available to install? I have had the issue for the last two days. Anyone else?
Using the same account, same device, different ROM.

Try clearing market cache. And recreating gmail account on phone.
Are you talking about how the market now sorts it as "installed" and "all"? You'll find them under "all".
EDIT: Nevermind. I misunderstood.
I had the same problem. I reported my phone and it fixed it. One app in particular mwc3 showed up in my apps but said I needed to purchase it again. Reported my phone fixed it

What I did was download an app, cleared market data then all was back to normal.
Clear data on Google system framework with clearing data/cache on my market followed by a reboot did the trick for me. If nothing is showing, install some random app and they should show

Hi, anybody experienced this error? Been suddenly bugging me since few days back and I can't find any substantial solution from search. This affects my stock Internet browser and even wikipedia which says ip blocked.
Tried reinstalling and clearing cache but no avail.
Thanks for any help!

I just rooted my Galaxy Note 2 last night and have been experiencing the same issue (as well as Feedly not signing in). Not sure if it's related to rooting the device but I can't find any help online.
Any luck with you?
I tried un-installing to factory version and it works. Maybe you can try that

Since about Monday, when I try to update several applications in the Google Play Store, I receive the error message "Package file has a bad manifest" when it tries to install the update. I have never seen this message before. Can someone advise on how to fix this error?
Very much a +1 here
This appeared randomly a few days ago and applies to some installed apps and also to new apps such as San Andreas.
Very frustrating.. If anyone could help us it would be greatly appreciated.
I would suggest you to go to applications and uninstall Google play updates... Later Google play will auto install to the latest version

I'm having this problem too. Been researching it and other people experiencing it have bad internet connections, and I just tested my connection too and it's terrible so must be caused by corruption. Gonna try again on a better connection.

At least you didn't have to through the hassle of flashing your phone back to fsctory just to find that out like I did.
I dont have we chat and I have been getting those force xlose occasionally for almost a week. So definitely not 'just' wechat...
Also the new google+ updates causes that

I just froze vzwavsservice, with Titanium, and all has been fine.
I get this error too. I don't even know what we chat is. I'm assuming a texting app.
That is correct. The Google+ Update is causing this. The recommendation is to either uninstall the update OR just going to the app mananager and force stop VZWwavsservice. I did the 2nd option and have not seen it since.

Clearing google+ cache works fine and is easiest.
I tried clearing the cache for Google+. It didn't work for me. Still getting the force close

Just kill it in task manager. I will uninstall when I root upon bootloader unlock. I don't see the point of rooting just to uninstall apps.

Did the same with no adverse effects. Went through two different G3s with the same FC.
