[Q] Stock splash screen gsm - HTC EVO 3D

Hi
Can anyone help me get the stock Splash screen that is flashable without the need of a computer?
Please
Need to make my phone look stock before I send it to the insurance company

I'm assuming you're s-off since you're taking about flashing splash screens. What I would do is run the ruu.exe. Everything will be stock (including the splash screen) but you'll still be s-off.

If you really need to do it without a computer you can download the RUU to your phone in zip form from this post, move it to the root of your SD card and rename it to PG86IMG.zip, and then flash it from the bootloader. The first one is the current Sprint ICS build.
Edit1: Just noticed in the title of this thread that you are GSM, so the RUU zip files I linked won't work since they are for CDMA. Maybe someone with a GSM model can provide a link to a working GSM RUU in zip format for you.
Edit2: Since getting the right GSM RUU in zip form might take some time, here's a post with the CDMA and GSM stock splash screens linked right above the signature of Hippie459MN. You'll need to download the GSM version, place it in the root of your SD card, rename it to PG86IMG.zip and then install it through the bootloader.

Thanks for the help but I just solved it yesterday, manage to get the original Picture and then flash it with fast boot
Will change to solved

[GUIDE] Unroot your HTC unlocked EVO 3D

I have noticed a lot of people asking how to unroot their 3d and return back to stock after unlocking with HTCDEV. Here's how:
Step 1: Download the RUU for your phone:
CDMA: PG86IMG.zip
GSM: GSM RUUs
(There are more GSM RUUs than CDMA, so here's all of them.)
Rogers RUU link is here.
Step 2: Place the PG86IMG.zip (CDMA- GSM will be similar) on the root of your sdcard.
Step 3: Reboot to recovery and wipe everything (Dalvik, cache, data, system, factory reset)
Step 4: Plug in your phone and reboot to bootloader via ADB
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Step 5: Boot into Hboot and allow the RUU zip to flash to the phone.
Step 6: Boot into fastboot
Step 7: Relock your bootloader
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Setp 8: Reboot.
Note: Your bootloader will say *** RELOCKED *** after you're done. That is how your carrier and HTC will know you've unlocked. There is no way to avoid this yet.
***** Make sure you put the CORRECT RUU image on you sdcard. If you have Sprint you're CDMA, if not, you're GSM. Don't mix the two up.
If you want to unlock your phone again after relocking, boot into fastboot and type:
Code:
fastboot flash Unlock_Code.bin
That's assuming you still have the Unlock_code.bin. If you don't, you'll have to re-do all the steps on HTCDEV
GSM RUUs from Football's thread here
CDMA RUU from Mr.ESP's post here
Rogers RUU link is dead from filefactory (footballs gsm ruu thread)...this has been confirmed from multiple sources

I would contact Football and see if he still has access to it then. Google doesn't bring anything up for Rogers. Let me know if you get it.
thanks to bebolf for having it in his dropbox and posting a link here ive gone ahead and uploaded the Rogers RUU to multiupload ... see below link, will post in footballs thread in gsm forum..

Hey just to add to this. I tried doing this method, but I couldn't get hboot to update my phone. I got hboot 1.50 stock, cause I just got the phone last week. I have no idea why ur method wouldn't work.....I'm a NOOB HERE. I tried even flashing in recovery. When I also tried to "Relocked" my phone it wouldn't even boot past the HTC screen.
Well what happened to begin was I put a different kernel on my using flash image gui, and when I tried going back to stock via backup, some of the functions didn't work wifi 4g...etc. I knew it had to be the kernel. So what I did was I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1223979, and downloaded the Shooter_2.08.651.2_odexed_rooted-signed.zip complete ROM.
Thanks @xHausx for that thread you saved me
Then i flashed it. I rebooted back into the bootloader and ran the lock code.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
This time the phone booted. I used one of RUU .exe from Football's post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334473
and completely restored the phone to stock.
Idk if this helps any one or not, but this is how I got my phone back to stock without using the PG86IMG.zip and flashing in hboot.
Again noob here, but it worked.
I followed all the steps, my phone now shows RELOCKED, but I still have the superuser app. Am I missing something? How do I get rid of superuser?
Thank you
did you run the ruu after relocking
I downloaded the file from the OP, renamed it PG86IMG.zip and copied it to my sd card. I then boot into hboot and it loads the file. This is all after I relocked the phone. Is this correct?

[Q] I REALLY NEED HELP hboot 1.5 toolkit

im having problems trying to brick my evo 3d so i can downgrade using toolkit, ok im on hboot 1.5/2.17 and when i put the 2.17 pg86zip on my sdcard it dosent give me the option to update and yes i change the name to PG86IMG.zip any on ideas what im doing wrong by the way this is a brand new phone i got from sprint today
When you go into bootloader does it search for the PG86IMG file?
You need the right image, i did the same thing and it read the zip file then went back to bootloader without an option to update. You just need the official update zip from sprint use this one found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21593454&postcount=564

[Q] rezound wont start after flashing roms

Hi everyone, so this is my first post here so please deal with me. I did check for similar problems with no results and think I'm posting in the right area. So try not to get too frustrated with me if I'm wrong. Anyway, with all of that out of the way on to my problem.
I have a rooted rezound, which was first rooted to get rid of bloatware and such, but I decided I wanted to try out some different roms. My problem is every time I flash a rom, which appears successful, but whenever it boots up it'll freeze up on the HTC screen. To fix this I've been just been pulling the battery and restoring to the backup I made before trying to flash roms. I would really like to try some different roms but I've gotten stuck on that screen with each one I've tried. If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it!
Some additional info: I use to have a rooted thunderbolt and have some experience with flashing roms and all that stuff, but I'd still consider myself a noob. I have Amon Ra Recovery on my rezound and the screen in hboot reads:
***Unlocked***
vigor put ship s-on rl
HBOOT-2.11.0000
eMMC-boot
Oct 6 2011, 15:43:22
(I'm not sure why it says the incorrect date and time?)
I've tried several different things to successfully flash roms. I've tried flashing them with and without PH98IMG.zip on the root of my sd. I've tired it with and without the back on my phone. When flashing roms I ALWAYS wiped all data before flashing. That's just about everything relevant I can think of, sorry for the length! I figured the more information the easier for you guys to help!
If you're S-ON, you need to flash the P98IMG zip with the ROM. This contains the boot.img file.
Just extract the ROM of choice, take the P98IMG zip, throw it on your SD card and boot into your bootloader. Go into the bootloader menu and it'll install. Reboot, phone will work just fine.
If there isn't a P98IMG file and just a boot.img file, just push it through ADB while in your fastboot.
command is fastboot flash boot boot.img
So the P98IMG.zip file I downloaded and had on the root of my sd card is different than the one I need to extract from the rom or was I just not installing it right?
I did have a P98IMG.zip on the root of my sd card and I went into hboot, then I went to recovery and flashed my rom. Is there another step I need to take in installing the P98IMG.zip or should it automatically install? Do I need to reboot it between installing the P98IMG.zip and the rom?
Thanks for you help and quick response! I'm really trying to learn and get better at this stuff
After you flash your ROM, go into your bootloader (fully, must be in the bootloader menu) and it'll install. Follow the onscreen instructions, reboot, and remove the zip from your SD card.
Hope that helps.
I still cant get it to work :/
Heres step by step what I did:
1) Went into hboot > recovery
2) Wiped all data
3) Flashed ROM
4) Powered off phone using option in the recovery menu
5) Powered back on into hboot. The green text appeared that said loading and stuff about P98IMG and a blue bar on the side, but this process was very brief (maybe 2 seconds tops) and there were no instructions to follow
6) Went into recovery and rebooted my phone where I was stuck on the the HTC screen again
Can you point out where I'm going wrong or any possible issue?
Thanks again for you patience! I really appreciate your help!

How are you getting to recovery? It should give you an option to install update or reboot in hboot. If the ph98img is in the right spot you shouldn't be able to boot into recovery
With my phone powered off I'm holding down the power button and down volume button to get to hboot. I have my ROM and the PH98IMG.zip file both on the root of my SD card. It does very quickly appear to load the PH98IMG file but returns to the hboot screen the has the options: fastboot, recovery, factory reset, clear storage, sim lock, image crc.
Could it be that the PH98IMG file should be somewhere else? And was I doing everything in the correct order or do I install the PH98IMG first?
File may be bad. Do you have adb set up?

Well actually I'm running off a mac and I've been using my sisters laptop for adb and that stuff but she just broke it...just my luck haha. Would I be able to download a different copy of PH98IMG from online and try that?
What ph file are you trying to flash? It should load it and ask if you want to update. Try downloading it again. May be a bad download
I'm trying to flash the Senseless-4.0.3-ICS-v1.0.0[2/4/2012] ROM (http://themikmik.com/showthread.php?11238-Senseless-4-0-3-ICS-v1-0-0-2-4-2012&p=178493#post178493) and I just saw a download for the PH98IMG file somewhere else on the website. Should the ROM include its own PH98IMG file? Thanks for both of your help! I have no experience with the PH files because my thunderbolt was s-off so i never dealt with this stuff before.

So s-off. Seriously though. You flashed a random ph file and thought it would work? It has to be the right one for the rom. Besides that rom isn't maintained anymore
The only method to get the rezound to s-off was using some wire trick and seemed like a difficult process. Would you recommend I do that?
And the post with the ROM said and ICS PH file would be fine, so I assumed it'd work. I guess I'll try a different ROM that includes a specific PH file and up to date. In which case I should be able to get everything to work with all the help from you and Chyrux. Thanks for everything!

I would recommend getting s-off. It's going to be the only method for this phone. I mean why waste another exploit to be patched? I would recommend con rom since it uses aroma to detect whether your s-on or s-off
Did you s-off your rezound? How were your experiences with it? I'm just worried about bricking my phone. But thanks for the ROM recommendation! I've been trying to find a good ROM
S-off was fairly easy, but you do need Windows or a Linux build.

RIFF Full Flash Amaze 4G needed !

Hi!
As I wrote here the other day I
accidentally bricked my HTC Amaze 4G by
flashing a wrong kernel.
Again the last chance to restore it is
anyhow there – I just need the full flash
image of htc Amaze 4G (PH85110) made
by Resurrector RIFF
ww jtagbox com/jtag-news/riff-jtag-htc-amaze-4g-htc-ruby-unbrick-dead-boot-repair-supported/
PLEASE point me in the right direction.
Any help is highly appreciated.
i'd just like to say that the stock image for the htc amaze is PH85IMG so the 85100 seems like the wrong directions... to return the htc back to "stock"
1. Download the stock ruu from my sig
2. Lock your bootloader by using the hasoon's AIO toolkit
3. Reboot to system
4. Flash the stock RUU you downloaded by placing it in the root of your external sd card and renaming it PH85IMG.zip and rebooting to bootloader and flash the ruu

Need new Hboot

I'm currently stuck on HBoot 2.09. I know I need to be on 2.10 to update to 4.3 Sense 5, but my phone can't be recognized onto my laptop because I have Windows 8.1. I would get it on my own but it's been while and I don't know where or how to get it. If this helps, I'm running the stock rooted 3.17 and I am S-OFF.Just having trouble connecting to Fastboot USB.
The reason I need the HBoot is because I can't use the Hboot flash file because it's a different file name that can't be recognized.
Download the file at the bottom of this post and put it on your external SD card. Rename it PJ75IMG.zip (make sure you don't have an extra .zip extension on the file name). Once you've done this, reboot to the bootloader. The bootloader should automatically scan for the file. If not, select the bootloader option and follow the on-screen directions. Once the update completes you'll have the new firmware, HBOOT and recovery. You will then need to flash Captain's ROM. You will NOT be able to flash an older ROM (Sense 4, AOSP or older Sense 5 ports) once you've done this update. I recommend downloading his ROM and putting it on your SD card so you can flash it once you've updated everything. See Captain Throwback's Sense 5 ROM thread in Original Development for more info. The file below is from his ROM thread and is not my work.
