RIFF Full Flash Amaze 4G needed ! - HTC Amaze 4G

Hi!
As I wrote here the other day I
accidentally bricked my HTC Amaze 4G by
flashing a wrong kernel.
Again the last chance to restore it is
anyhow there – I just need the full flash
image of htc Amaze 4G (PH85110) made
by Resurrector RIFF
ww jtagbox com/jtag-news/riff-jtag-htc-amaze-4g-htc-ruby-unbrick-dead-boot-repair-supported/
PLEASE point me in the right direction.
Any help is highly appreciated.

i'd just like to say that the stock image for the htc amaze is PH85IMG so the 85100 seems like the wrong directions... to return the htc back to "stock"
1. Download the stock ruu from my sig
2. Lock your bootloader by using the hasoon's AIO toolkit
3. Reboot to system
4. Flash the stock RUU you downloaded by placing it in the root of your external sd card and renaming it PH85IMG.zip and rebooting to bootloader and flash the ruu

[GUIDE] Unroot your HTC unlocked EVO 3D

I have noticed a lot of people asking how to unroot their 3d and return back to stock after unlocking with HTCDEV. Here's how:
Step 1: Download the RUU for your phone:
CDMA: PG86IMG.zip
GSM: GSM RUUs
(There are more GSM RUUs than CDMA, so here's all of them.)
Rogers RUU link is here.
Step 2: Place the PG86IMG.zip (CDMA- GSM will be similar) on the root of your sdcard.
Step 3: Reboot to recovery and wipe everything (Dalvik, cache, data, system, factory reset)
Step 4: Plug in your phone and reboot to bootloader via ADB
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Step 5: Boot into Hboot and allow the RUU zip to flash to the phone.
Step 6: Boot into fastboot
Step 7: Relock your bootloader
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Setp 8: Reboot.
Note: Your bootloader will say *** RELOCKED *** after you're done. That is how your carrier and HTC will know you've unlocked. There is no way to avoid this yet.
***** Make sure you put the CORRECT RUU image on you sdcard. If you have Sprint you're CDMA, if not, you're GSM. Don't mix the two up.
If you want to unlock your phone again after relocking, boot into fastboot and type:
Code:
fastboot flash Unlock_Code.bin
That's assuming you still have the Unlock_code.bin. If you don't, you'll have to re-do all the steps on HTCDEV
GSM RUUs from Football's thread here
CDMA RUU from Mr.ESP's post here
Rogers RUU link is dead from filefactory (footballs gsm ruu thread)...this has been confirmed from multiple sources

I would contact Football and see if he still has access to it then. Google doesn't bring anything up for Rogers. Let me know if you get it.
thanks to bebolf for having it in his dropbox and posting a link here ive gone ahead and uploaded the Rogers RUU to multiupload ... see below link, will post in footballs thread in gsm forum..

Hey just to add to this. I tried doing this method, but I couldn't get hboot to update my phone. I got hboot 1.50 stock, cause I just got the phone last week. I have no idea why ur method wouldn't work.....I'm a NOOB HERE. I tried even flashing in recovery. When I also tried to "Relocked" my phone it wouldn't even boot past the HTC screen.
Well what happened to begin was I put a different kernel on my using flash image gui, and when I tried going back to stock via backup, some of the functions didn't work wifi 4g...etc. I knew it had to be the kernel. So what I did was I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1223979, and downloaded the Shooter_2.08.651.2_odexed_rooted-signed.zip complete ROM.
Thanks @xHausx for that thread you saved me
Then i flashed it. I rebooted back into the bootloader and ran the lock code.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
This time the phone booted. I used one of RUU .exe from Football's post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334473
and completely restored the phone to stock.
Idk if this helps any one or not, but this is how I got my phone back to stock without using the PG86IMG.zip and flashing in hboot.
Again noob here, but it worked.
I followed all the steps, my phone now shows RELOCKED, but I still have the superuser app. Am I missing something? How do I get rid of superuser?
Thank you
did you run the ruu after relocking
I downloaded the file from the OP, renamed it PG86IMG.zip and copied it to my sd card. I then boot into hboot and it loads the file. This is all after I relocked the phone. Is this correct?

[Q] How to s off while stuck in Recovery mode? Please help.

I recently went to change my ROM on my HTC amaze, but after I was finished installing it went to reboot and ever since no matter what I do, it just stays on the white htc screen. The only thing I can get to is into Recovery. I locked boot loader and unlocked it and after doing so I noticed it said S ON. How do I turn s off while stuck in recovery mode? Im using the ZurgRushTemp root but it says that I need my phone in usb debugging mode and I dont know how to do that in recovery mode. If I sound like a total idiot it's probably because I am. Previously I have unlocked boot loader and rooted my phone and downloaded other roms and it worked fine. I have no fricken clue what happened. Please help me.. How do I s off to install another rom while I can only get into recovery mode?
What recovery did you flash?
If its not 4EXT then you need to flash the kernel using fastboot.

just get the stock RUU for your phone. Re-lock your bootloader. Rename what you downloaded to PH85IMG.zip. place it in the root directory of your external SD card. reboot your phone into HBOOT and it should automatically flash the stock recovery and ROM. this WILL wipe your phone clean. then you can unlock the bootloader, root it, flash a custom recovery then a ROM of your choice.

Unlocking the bootloader won't change your phone into s-off. So, what you see is correct.
Forget about ZergRush. It won't work, or necessary at all if you unlocked your bootloader, anyway.
Edit: I forgot to mention. Try 'adb logcat' to see if your phone even gets to the boot sequence. If you see your screen gets filled up with tons of stuff, hit control-c to stop it. Then enter adb logcat > logfile.txt to capture it. You can post it here for someone to take a look.
If you can get into bootloader and/or recovery, your phone isn't in a bad shape at all. If you can access your phone from a pc with adb or fastboot (which, you should have if you've unlocked your bootloader), there are things you can try.
1. boot your phone into recovery and see if you can access it through adb shell. Do you see a shell prompt ('$' or '#' sign)? On the phone, use the mount option to mount system and data partitions to see if they are mountable. You can use 'ls -l' on the shell prompt to look around, if you like.
2. If your phone is accessible, but not bootable, the first thing I would try is to flash a boot image. You probably have one sitting in the pc folder you used to unlock, or hanson's all-in-one tool has it.
3. If you flash a fresh boot image (kernel) and the phone still won't boot up, the next thing I would try is to restore from a nandroid backup. I'm sure you've made a backup before you started, right?
4. If the nandroid restore doesn't work, you can try flashing a stock rom like someone elese suggested. You just copy the zip file, which you download from the stock rom thread in the dev section, to the external sd card, rename it to PH85IMG.zip, and reboot your phone into the bootloader. The phone will detect the stock rom if it's there and asks you whether to install the update or not. Remember to download the correct file for your carrier.
5. If nothing works, come back here and post your result. I'm afraid your phone may have a corrupt nand memory...

You used the wrong image, went about using that ota file incorrectly as well, Oh boy, ite, let's keep our fingers crossed on this.
You said your hboot was 1.93.0002? Correct? If you're s-on, this may or may not work, lets hope it does, since's it practically your only hope, though I wonder what your cid currently is set to.
Since you did s-off, you should know how to use adb. Shut the phone off via battery pull, boot up into hboot then go into fastboot, using adb check your cid via this command: fastboot getvar cid
Let me know what it is when you're done, we'll work from there, hopefully we can get this done.
sorry, forgot to pull sd card so it ran the PH85IMG twice,
the cid is

Cid is 11111111 and you're s-on? Lucky you, well download the mobilicity GB stock ruu exe file, reboot into fastboot and run the file to restore your phone to complete stock GB, hopefully it goes through, though I don't see why it wouldn't, if you're s-on, you'll have to relock your bootloader before doing this.
Thanks! hopefully it'll work
downloading the GB rom from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27704071
going to relock bootloader with the amaze tool.
going to change the RUU to PH85IMG then pray it works!
I'll post an update in this thread, unfortunately the rom takes about 4 hours to download from file factory

You can download the ruu from the ruu/ota thread in the same forum, the dev host upload by krook is much faster.
Do not change the name of that file, it's an exe file, you have to run it via a pc with your phone connected via usb cable in fastboot mode.

Amaze OTA Android 4.0 Update Problem

Hi guys I'm fairly new here and was hoping you guys could help me out.
so i got my amaze a couple months ago from this guy and he told me had rooted the phone but then he unrooted it.
So fastforward to today and i'm trying to update my phone to the new android 4.0 . it downloads the update but then when it shuts off to start installing the update a triangle pops up with an exclamation mark.
it wouldn't go away so i took the battery out to restart it, which it did.
How do i go about fixing this . Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
and this was on my bootloader screen if it helps any

Just download one of the stock ruu files, place it on your sd card rename it PH85IMG.zip and reboot into HBoot mode, it should restore your phone to complete stock.
What radio is on the new OTA update? Can someone who has done the update, post?

I have the same problem. I get a Main ver is old error when attempting to load the stock ruu, PH85IMG_Ruby_TMOUS_1.36.531.6_Radio_1.07.550L.04DC_30.64.550L.07_release_219373_signed.zip .
There is no way to get it back to stock with HBOOT on the ICS RUU you cannot go back, I got screwed over too. Unless you got S-Off before you went to ICS, that's the only way you can go back to stock. I think, that's what someone else told me, so give it a try but otherwise I think you are screwed, but I don't really know what I'm talking about. Can anyone confirm this?

Ok, I flashed via HBOOT the same version that was on the phone, PH85IMG_Ruby_TMOUS_1.43.531.3_Radio_1.08.550L.19DC_30.66.550L.08D_release_228638_signed.zip , and it seems to have accepted it, and going through the updates now.
Now, I will boot into stock, and attempt the new OTA ICS upgrade.
Will a restore work via CWM, that I took from the stock GB ROM above?
OTA ICS Upgrade = Success
I was going to pull the file off of the phone, but I started the upgrade and forgot. I could not locate it afterwards.
How did you flash via Hboot? Did you rename the file before you put it on your SD Card? Also do you have stock recovery?
finally got it
1. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging.
2. Download my tool and run it. If your bootloader is unlocked (most likely it is), on my tool, press "Boot into Bootloader". After you are in bootloader, run the "Relock Bootloader" command
3. Put the Stock T-Mobile 1.43 ROM on to your SD Card. Make sure it in the root folder. Rename the file to PH85IMG. Run the command on my tool to "Boot into Bootloader" It should scan for the ROM. If it doesn't (It may be in Fastboot mode, that's why) press the power button so it switches from Fastboot into HBOOT mode.
4. It will detect it and press the Volume Up button. It will flash the Stock ROM.

Unlock your amaze again. Follow the hasoon steps and you'll be able to unlock it.
once you unlock it download this file
http://d-h.st/OIC
once that is done rename it to "PH85IMG" and then put it into your sdcard
then follow these steps
"Run the command on the hasoon tool to "Boot into Bootloader" It should scan for the ROM. If it doesn't (It may be in Fastboot mode, that's why) press the power button so it switches from Fastboot into HBOOT mode.
4. It will detect it and press the Volume Up button. It will flash the Stock ROM."
once it's done flashing you'll be on stock and then you can update the phone to ICS.
TOOK ME ALL DAY! dont worry you'll figure it out.

I went through that, but the RUU is an exe, or do I rename the OTA zip file to PH85IMG.
When I went through this process it loaded PH85IMG, did the check and then nothing. Never asked me to update or anything. I wouldn't have posted to ask for help if I didn't need it.

No. Connect your phone and flash the EXE. PH85IMG is ONLY for T-Mobile Users. Everyone else uses an EXE.
LMAO some things never change
Good luck with ICS

Thanks for your help! I have never felt like such a noob....I swear I am actually good with tech lol
So I managed to get my phone flashed, thanks for all of your help, but I thought the flash was suppose to upgrade me to ICS, but it installed a stock 2.3.4 I am so confused. After flashing the EXE am I suppose to use the OTA.zip? If so, from what I am reading I need to S-OFF.
I tried installing CM9 after the flash and I am able to boot, but once its loads and begins the initial setup it freezes on the Select Language screen and reboots. I have searched the forum and no luck.

[Q] Telus Amaze 4G Stock RUU

Hi Guys.
I have a S-ON Amaze 4G. Recently I tried installing another rom using 4EXT and messed something up. I think my partition tables are all messed up because the internal sdcard isn't being recognized. To make things worse I relocked my bootloader hoping to flash an RUU. Turns out my hboot is 1.93.002 and I can't flash Telus' stock RUU which is GB, it just doesn't work everytime I try it.
I can't S-OFF because i need the stock RUU as I understand. I also cannot unlock the bootloader as I tried on HTCDEVs site and it kept saying my identifier code was incorrect, so I am really confused now.
I basically have an S-ON, relocked HTC amaze with 4ext recovery, possibly corrupted partition tables, and no kernel/ROM properly loaded.
Any help?
Thanks!

Launch the fastboot to learn which img file it searches for, you know, ph85img.zip, or ph85001.zip, or what-have-you.
Get your proper RUU--it's gonna be GB or ICS, I think--you can look in the RUU section of "They're all here now" of the General forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1545464
Then rename your RUU to the appropriate "whicheverph8t.zip" is required and put it on your external SD card and reboot, something like here (and other places):
