Downloading right now. They added quite a lot of new features, but it's no jelly bean though.
Thread moved go the correct board. Development is only for software development by users.. Commercial rom releases belong in general.

Hi Geeks,
I'm using T-mobile Vibrant and would like to what are all latest updates available for this model?
I have already updated to JI6 via KIES...
What are the recommendations?
Thank you,
Nikhil
You are running the latest official update. There have been several leaks for Froyo 2.2 I think 5 of them so far the latest being JL5 and if you research here you will learn how you can put that on your phone. These are only leaked version but the devs here have made them very stable. Once again you have the latest official update.
Oh and welcome to XDA. Rule to remember please post in the right section as this should be in Q&A.

Can any phone running android 2.2 be updated to 2.3? Or is it just a specific list of phones. The phone in question here, is a Samsung Galaxy Q. It's running stock 2.2. I would like to update it but there don't seem to be too many instructions on the internet.
Any ideas...?
I think Samsung didn't make an OTA for your phone so there could be the possibility that they dropped your phone... . Nevertheless if you root it, you can put 2.3 on it manually by flashing a rom. (but this depends if there is one available of course)

Moving to Q&A
Can we upgrade micromax A35 to its os 4.0.1 ICS
if there is any solution to upgrade this
Unfortunately, Samsung did not upgrade our phones to 2.3. They dropped support altogether. I owned this phone and there is no way to upgrade it since it isn't a common or high-end phone. However on the bright side, you can root your phone and even unlock it (I did this). Depending on where you live, you probably bought it unlocked .
There is a thread here that discusses this phone. At most you may be able to flash a version of the same ROM without carrier apps if you're in the USA. Other that that, there really isn't anything for this phone. I might be able to search up the links for rooting and that XDA thread if you're still interested.
Good luck!
Hello, I have a Galaxy S II, I want to upgrade to Android 4.0.3, which firmware you advise me.?
I want a future that would allow the update via OTA and the Kies.
Sorry for the ignorance and Parabens by the Forum.
My version is low!
this BADLY needs to be moved to the Q&A section. Development threads only in this section!!
If you want to keep all the official update methods then you will just have to wait on Samsung. Flashing one of these voids your warranty....

Stock is better than any of the ICS builds currently available for me.
New CM9 build is highly recommended.
Edit: Apologies disregard. Kies/OTA requirement spotted.
Regards
I guess its easy to summarize that there's none currently, as the ones currently available are leaks and not officially released by Samsung, and therefore, you won't be able to update through OTA or Kies.
Wait for a few weeks for the official version.
OK Ive scoured the development forum in the vibrant section, and I don't see any mention of anyone who has installed successfully the Liquid Smooth Rom on a T-959 Vibrant!! All Ive seen is it seems that it can only be installed on a S-3 or S-2 models!! Which sucks!! I'm currently running Paranoid Android and CM 10.0 on both vibrant,s I own, and the both ROMS are 4.1.2 versions of JB
So again I'm wondering if anyone has successfully installed without problems, my main and only REAL CONCERN is if it will write a different or incorrect primary and secondary boot loader and cause a true hard brick situation. :crying: I want to try it so badly but I don't see any mention of a S-1 T-959 successful install.
So anybody got a success and what liquid Smooth Rom and version did you use and what if any special attention to install instructions do you have!
Double posting or was this moved by a mod?

this is where I had originally posted this question, However i don't how the same post ended up in General discussions!! This is where my question needs to be, protocol wise so if a moderator would be kind enough to remove the same post from general discussion I would be grateful and many apologies for the mishap
ok so am guessing the 1gig version of the s3 is not getting the kitkat update... i was very excited when i heard the s3 is getting it but disappointed when i heard the international version isnt. u think there is any hope for us yet....??
maybe some great developer can modify a kitkat for us....
If you want 4.4 then go try a custom rom, or discuss it in general forum where there is a sticky thread on kitkat. Don't start new threads.
