[Q] Restoring IMEI on Bluebo B3000 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got a cheap chinese phone, called Bluebo B3000.
(The manufacturer is www bluebo net)
the device has MTK6575
Android 4.0.4, Kernel 3.0.13
no GPS,
RAM: 256MB
ROM: 512MB
Resolution: 320 x 480 Pixels
SIM slots: 2
SD card
quadband GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
I wanted to have root, so I installed a ROM I downloaded. But now I notice my IMEI has changed.
How do I change it back?
Thanks!

app to write imei
I found a small app ("MT65xx.apk") to fix IMEI number. I followed instuctions at

or here

ROM Bluebo B3000
I see you have flashed your rom. My B3000 stopped working suddenly and only shows and android screen.
Dutch telephone shop told me that a newly flashed rom would probably solve the problem.
However I cannot find a suitable rom (they did not have it to).
The phone comes in recovery and can install a zip, so that is what I'm looking for.
Can you tell me where I can find a suitable rom (or I have to return the phone to China).
regards Han

[Q] Is my phone software unlocked(versus factory) Please helpp?

Hello,
I will have to give background info on this before anyone can help so bear with me please :.
I live in Pakistan and I bought a i9300 directly from samsung. In the beginning of the six months i owned the phone, I never rooted or put custom ROMs on it. Then unfortunately I got SDS. I gave my phone to a local repair shop (non samsung, but highly reliable, I bought the phone from there) who switched the motherboard on the phone. After I got it, I rooted it and started installing custom ROMs on it. First it was cyanogenMod, then Paranoid Android and Supernexus +AOKP and others. Everything worked fine. Then I installed Omega ROM (Samsung based ROM which changes the modem). Everything went fine, but I was unable to connect to my network (No texts, calls, data connectivity). It detected my network(Ufone) but was unable to register on it when I manually tried to. I mega-wiped my phone, cleared cache and factory reset and did everything. Alternatively, the following steps I also tried.
1)Checked if my IMEI is intact. It was. (I have EFS backups too)
2)Checked if my serial # is different. It is still the same (No need for Ariza Patch)
3)Checked if my SIM works. It does on different phones.
4)Checked my APN settings. They were fine. I even manually changed them to match the carriers
5)Changed my CSC settings (using the playstore app). Still doesnt work.
6)Checked different modems from the appropiate thread (I have tried Europe Unbranded, Middle East, Egypt and many others)
7)Restored nandroid backup of original stock 4.1.2 Sammy ROM, still not connectivity.
8)Flashed using ODIN, the stock 4.1.2 ROM for my country (Using SAM mobile). Still no connectivity.
9) Matched my RIL with my baseband (using the GetRIL app), still didnt work.
Stock Samsung 4.1.2 ROM details before OMEGA flash in which everything worked:
AP: I9300XXEMA2
CP: I9300XXELLA
CSC: I9300OJVEMA1
This has happened to me the 5th time now (Phone is currently at the repair shop) and I have sequentially tried every one of the steps I have mentioned. I called up the repair shop and they said that I can come tomorrow and pick it up, all they have left to do is "SIM UNLOCK "the phone. That confused me a lot. I will go tomorrow and ask them details as to what they meant by that. So my question is basically this:
1) Is it possible that the motherboard they put into my phone is from a software-unlocked phone not a hardware unlocked? (Is the 'unlock' on the motherboard of the phone)
2) Is there a way to find out if my phone is software or factory unlocked?
P.S. Every single time I hand in my phone, I obviously unroot it and install stock on it (regardless of the fact that it doesnt connect to the network). But every single time I get my phone back, its ALWAYS ROOTED.. I even asked the technical team guy and he had no idea what I was talking about (repairmen here dont have that much of knowledge, they tend to follow guides online, thats it). So could it be that my connectivity issue is just because its software unlocked and not hardware?
Thank you!
Anyone?

Not a genuine service centre then .
IMEI
MODEM
CSC
all correct for network suggests a hardware fault .

But it's not a hardware fault? I mean whatever they do, they have to root the phone to be able to do it. Any idea what settings or configuration they might have changed using root for it to connect which I haven't already tried?

No service on iPhone 5s clone - Alps MT6575

I purchased a iPhone 5s clone from China a month ago. Out-of-the box i could make and receive calls, but i didn't get the mobile internet working.
Anyway, I tried rooting the device using MTK Droid Root & Tools, but the program told me it couldn't do it and linked me to this guide: hxxp://forum.china-iphone.ru/viewtopic.php?p=502084#p502084 (It's in russian, but Google Translate does a good job).
I followed the guide and successfully installed CWM and rooted, but when I booted up the phone I got nothing but "No service", and when I tried to register the phone on any mobile network it always said "Unable to connect to this network at this time".
Now this sounds like an IMEI issue to me, and stupid as I am, i didn't check the IMEI of the phone before I started the root process. If I now enter *#06# in the dialer, it displays what looks like a correct IMEI. Since it is a clone there is no physical IMEI on the device. There is one on the box and I tried changing to that but still got "No service". Again, since it's a clone, the one on the box might no be correct.
Is the problem I'm experiencing an IMEI issue, and if so, is there anything I can do?

Problem with SIM cards after kitkat update

hello good night. i am writing from Portugal and the problem is this. i made an OTA update do the S222 row Kitkat and all went well. the phone boots normally and works well without the SIM cards. after i put the SIM cards the problem begun. the phone does not recognize the SIM cards and it pops up continually a message on the screen "com.android as stoped" whitch make virtually impossible to work with the phone.
i read that it might be a problem with the modem, could you tell me the best way to solve this situation ? can i flash only the modem with the recovery , and for portugal what would be the proper modem to flash ? 2G network work with 900/1800 and 3G with 2100
i saw the topic of stympy, and the diferent modems that he shows.
could you help me please, i would like to try kitkat but at the moment it is impossible for the reasons that i explained

Hi. To answer you question, you may try this:
First you must root your phone and install custom recovery TWRP.

Nubia z11 mini - NX529F - Telephony services lost

The short history:
Playing with an "official" ROM I bricked my phone. I was able to recover it, everything works properly except the telephony, I can't make phone calls :crying:.
The full story:
The behaviour of my phone is different depending on which slot I put my SIM card.
If I put my SIM on the first slot, when the phone reboots it doesn't ask for the PIN and doesn't recognise the card. But if I switch to plane mode and I reboot the phone, the phone then asks for the PIN number. If I introduce an incorrect one, it recognises that it is incorrect ans ask for a new one (then it is reading the card to know that), but when I introduce the correct one, it does no connect whit my carrier (of course, before that I switch off the plane mode).
If I put my SIM on the second slot, it asks for the PIN number but similarly to the previous case, It doesn't connect with the carrier.
In both cases dialling *#06# on the phone, I can read the two IMEI and the MEID codes and they agree with the codes printed on the phone box.
Moreover, if I install an app (I tested with some of them) that reads the SIM card it can read the name of my carrier and all the contacts that are on my SIM.
Things that I tried:
0) I tried to use my SIM in another phone, and it works. I also tried to use another SIM in my phone, and I have the same problem.
1) I tried to install several ROM's:
- Jeff72ROM (v1.30 and v1.32) from: http://www.needrom.com/category/zte/serial-nubia/z11-mini/
- stock ROM from http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=776504&st=0#entry52586301
- And experimental port of CM14 (I can't remember where I found it)
- CUOCO92 from http://blog.grossoshop.net/nubia-z11-mini-rom-gs-by-cuoco92/
- An "official" ROM: NX529J_Z69_EN_NSXPK1JD00K132 from http://www.nubia.com/es/support.php?a=phone&pid=8 (this is the ROM that bricked my phone, I modified it in order to avoid the problem).
To install all these ROM I used TWPR from http://www.androidbrick.com/download/z11-mini-nx529j-twrp-root/
When I dial *#*#4636#*#* on the phone it says that the type of preferred net is WCDMA. It seems to me that these nets are not in use in Europe (I live in Spain). Itried to change that, but I couldn't. Then I applied the patch http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394689 but it doesn't work. I also tried to modify the properties in "build.prop" without success. Now I think this is not the problem since all the ROM's have similar properties, in special CUOCO92 that is reported to work in Italy.
What I think it happened:
When I tried to flash the "official" ROM it failed because it tried to write too many files in the "system" partition (I hadn't this problem with any other ROM). Then I realised that my phone was bought in China and this ROM was for the international version, perhaps the international version has a different partition scheme).
What I did is to remove some very easy to install apps (i.e. google maps) in the ROM in order that the remaining apps fit in the partition, but then I made the mistake to activate the option in TWPR of making "rm -rf" instead of a "format". It seems to me that with this option the rm command followed some link to another partition and removed some files that shouldn't be removed, and those files are not in any ROM.
Does anybody think that this makes sense?
What can I do?
nice, super description. i am stuck with my nubia z11 mini, brought from china. installed 1.23, recently updated new 1.36 but there is no google play, other all working perfectly.
Hi,
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
Thanks in advance, F.
---------- Post added at 08:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:44 AM ----------
@jbartolo
I have the NX529J and the option wasn't changed, it was still format. I don't think the problem is related to the partition.
@jbartolo
Any news about your z11?
Did you manage to fix it?
I have the same problem.

No solution :crying:
I had access to another z11 mini and a played copying partitions from this phone to my phone without success.
@jbartolo
Since you can have access to another z11 mini please check these guides
http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload_edl/
http://www.androidbrick.com/ultimat...agon-xiaomi-mi5-imei-and-baseband-repair-fix/
http://www.androidbrick.com/ultimate-guide-qualcomm-snapdragon-imei-baseband-repair-fix-part-2/
Also you will see more guides in the mentioned site and maybe you can fix your phone. Unfortunately i dont have access to another z11 mini to try. Wish you good luck.
@jbartolo
I did some progress with my phone.
I flash it with the chinese 1.23 rom(its the one in fastboot structure as i understand,a service rom) using Xiaomi's MiFlash tool.
Phone came up with null IMEI'S and MEID. Then i write missing IMEI'S & MEID ,with some tools from the site i mentioned you in my previous post.
So everything is in place now. IMEI'S & MEID.
Now when i dal *#06#* and *#*#4636#*#* i can see Imei's & Meid.
Also i can change the option from WCDMA preferred to other options and stick with them (*#*#4636#*#*) and i can see in phone settings and SIM menu all the options.
Both sim trays read my sim and ask for pin.
In SIM menu, i can search for avalaible carriers but the only problem now is that when i'm trying to connect to my sim carrier unfortunately phone can't register to my carrier.
I'm trying to figure out how to solve this issue.
You can try what i did and maybe you are more lucky than me and can fix your phone.
Hope to hear from you soon and maybe we can share some more ideas.

You could contact the owner of www.androidbrick.com in case he has one. Or you can ask @jbartolo to provide a backup of his other device. Taking a qcn backup is a pretty simple procedure
@efrai3 Just contacted him again and he was happy to share with me a qcn backup for your device
You can contact him too and ask for one! He will be glad to help!

problem solved: Z11 mini working again
All,
the AndroidBrick method worked.
First I tried it with my own qcn backup but that didn'twork. I received a qcn (Chinese, 64 GB) from AndroidBrick and I followed the repair guide. My Nubia Z11 mini is working again.
The solution for our problem is that you need a qcn backup from a working phone because when you install the wrong rom (international version) the modemst-partions are corrupt.
I'll prepare a backup qcn from my phone (changed IMEI) and I can send it to you.
Send me a mail at [email protected].

Z11 mini NX529J problem
First of all:
>i bought an used NX529J
>first sim slot doesn't work at all, second slot recognize sim card
^-i don't know if it's software or hardware related
>no connect to carrier
>cannot unlock sim card with PIN
What i tried:
>flashed XenonHD Rom
>*#06#* : only MEID, but it is the same number, as the first IMEI number
>*#*#4636#*#* : first IMEI number
>tried all sim settings, but no connect to carrier
Has some an idea?
Hello everybody,
i found the solution! Now both sim card slot's work and can connect to carrier!

[SOLVED] How to solve galaxy s7 network not available and nulled IMEI issues ?

[/HIDE][/STRIKE]Hi All ,,,
Last week i bought a used phone galaxy S7 G930FD(D is refering to duos i quess). when i dialed *#06# the first IMEI was okay but the second one was nulled, i never thought that is a problem before buying the phone.
The problem started when i flashed super su root through recovery, device rooted successfully but the phone could not connect to my carrier(634 01) network not available, i searched the web and i found this solution https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-fix-check-drk-imei-issues-t3379516
I downloaded the files as mentioned in the post, when i got to flashing the combination file with odin, i booted the phone into download mode only to find out the G930S written on the top left of the screen as the product name, but in settings>about device the phone name was G930FD . Now i think that my phone is actually G930S and the guy who used the phone before me tried to make it dual sim by installing G930FD firmware, and the brick came when i flashed G930FD super su root on G930S device ? if my device is indeed G930S can i use G930FD combination file and firmware to fix the problem as mentioned in the post https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-fix-check-drk-imei-issues-t3379516 ?? or i misunderstood something ?
HOW can i SOLVE this ???? and thanks in advance.
Edit: I found a solution, see reply below.
SOLUTION:
Finally i solved it!! know i can say that i have a phone not just a smart device.
I did a little reasersh until i found this Great software: Samsung Pro Z3X Tool without box at this site: https://www.gadgetsdr.com/2018/06/download-z3x-29-5-samsung-tool-pro/
It has a lot of features, i tried the Patch Cirtificate(Network repair) option and it did the trick ! wow im so delighted:laugh:, but the thing is it didn't work when i set the model to G930FD but when i made it G930S it worked! this tool even has a dual sim setting so you can make your phone dual sim easily thanks to Z3X Team.
