Its not like I don't want to help you but mostly all of your questions can be answered just by lookin' into the "Android develpment" section of this sub-forum.
You can find everything you need there; from instructions about how to flash a ROM to the ROM itself.
As for the best ROM, well, there's aint much custom ROM for the Ace now. But a stock XXKPH might be the one you lookin' for.
Used it for almost a moth now and still no SODs or crap like that.
Hope this help.
+1
KPH is what you are looking for.
I've used every rom out there but I find it the best one.
Use cf-root kernel on it & apply some tweaks. It'll fulfill all your needs.
Don't forget to hit thanks if I helped you!
Code Rom is the best till now .
Fast, stable with darktremors apps2sd and ext 4 support in nexus ace .

As you can see from comments above; such 'best ROM' is relative to each people.
One may want features that others dont and vice versa.
You should try one by one and find which suits you best.

You don't need to go back to the same firmware. If you want to go back to froyo then you flash with DDKC1.
Don't forget to hit thanks if I helped you!
The thing would be void warranty if you want to get an exchange... they do check your firmware version.

yeah if there wil b any damage in future, i need to flash previous firmware b4 taking it to samsung care. So thats why i asked
Hey!
I think all ROM-s DEVELOPERS and others, who may include needed things in ROM(custom ones)are WORTH for BIG RESPECT(developers are doing what they can and after that they MAYBE can IMPROVE, already made out ROM-s)!!!
CHEERS!
try stock 2.3.4 + custom kernel cf-root... no any kind of bugs for me..
If you really want a stock gingerbread firmware (stock means no modification at all, no custom kernel) then I can suggest 2.3.3 KPN from Spain. No SOD so far, wake up lag almost does not exist (both problems are in 2.3.4 KPH).
However, if you can live with a from time to time SOD or with the wake up lag, 2.3.4 KPH is enough. Also, if you go KPH, there's a lot of custom ROM for it now.

I agree and vote for KPN. Haven't encountered any SOD yet ( I use my SGA as a portable hotspot for an average of 6 hours a day, and with KPH, SOD happens twice a day) Hope it stays stable..
2.3.3 XWKPN is the best for me

Do you need to Root to install Lightning ROM?

Guys, I know this has probably been asked 5 trillion times on here, but I am new and would like some information.
I had an iPhone until a couple months ago, but then I decided to get an Atrix. I sold that, and how I have a Galaxy S II. It has the stock rom, and it is the European i9100 version. The phone is NOT rooted.
Do I need to root the phone before installing Lightning ROM? Also should I back up my music and stuff? Will my stuff get deleted after installing the custom ROM?
Thanks a lot for the help. I know most people will tell me that this has already been answered, but I really wouldn't mind some extra help so I don't brick my new phone.
Edit: Oh right, I forgot to add, will Lightning ROM increase my battery life? The stock ROM drains battery so fast...
As far as i know, you do not need to root to flash this rom. Flashing this rom though will root your gs2. Im on lite'ning 6.1 and its giving me great battery life.
Theres a link to FAQ in the lite'ning rom thread.
Edit: i would do a back up just incase, but NO it does not wipe anything on your phone.

Download your original or stock firmware and save it .Or just simply keep a copy of the file you flashed 2.3.6
Also which stock Rom to put and which is newest i mean on gingerbread not on ICS, and that rom i want to be more aware in battery saver thats my needs for now. And also if I put stock newest rom than also i need to flash the kernel or not???
Roms have kernel built in .
And whats the privilegies if I flash the kernel to??
Fail to understand are you confusing kernel with firmware or with a rooted kernel .
I help couse this Samsung G SII isn't mine, it's my cousin 's phone, so last thing. Is to brick his phone.
Honest opinion is you dont have enough knowledge to flash a phone that you do not own what are you going to do if you brick it buy him a new phone .

jelly bean update for s3, is it worth

i have flashed 3 jb roms all have lags n bugs and ended up formatting my card and titanium backup,my question is that only perfet roms shoud be allowed on s3 as its not any ordinary phone, its worlds best and it ...ks when in a rom camera fc games fc etc.swiched back to hi rom.
Firstly the ROM didn't wipe your sdcard, you did.
Secondly I have been running the second leaked JB ROM since it dropped yesterday morning and I have no problems whatsoever with it.
Finally, this is xda developers, not xda-fully stock, completely finished ROMs service, you are looking for samfirmware.com.
Edit: a little addendum, why the hell did you post this in q&a?
Where's the damn question??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
The JB Update is still Test but the features and general running of the ROM are FAR better than ICS! there are still bugs as its not an official release (wait until next week for official) but to be honest the bugs are not too serious!! Id say get over to Omega ROM and try V15 when its released today you will not be disappointed!

Please read the sign on the top of the page XDA Developers forum .
No rom is perfect and if you want no risk then do not ever use stuff from XDA sticking to official stock firmware .
But note when you finally leave school you may have enough knowledge to come back to XDA .

There isn't a ''best'' custom ROM here. If u want perfomance, flash CM. U basically flash CWM via stock recovery, and in CWM flash ROMs, kernels etc.

It seems you are new to this forum.
So listen,
There isn't any best rom for any devices. Every developer tries his best to make his rom best. Head over to development section to search for roms.
See features of rom and watch their screens and decide which rom you are gonna flash.
Whatever rom you choose their are instructions given in first post of thread how to flash , what are the bugs, how you can solve some bugs etc etc. So you have to read that. You can't ask everything.
Now about CM,
CM for ace I is not fully stable yet, it has some bugs but they may get fixed in future. Instructions , download links to flash CM is also given in CM thread or in discussion thread.
You can always go back to stock rom ( if anything goes wrong or you don't like any particular rom ) by flashing stock rom with odin.
Important thing,
Whatever you do with your phone is completely depend upon you. You can't blame developers if anything goes wrong.
I hope all your doubts are clear now.

I told you bro,
You can't ask for best rom here. Go to Ace I development section and choose rom which suits and fullfills your needs.
Latest version of stock rom can be found on samfirmware.com
But that doesn't matter. You can flash any version of stock rom. Not much changes comes with latest version.
To know how to flash stock rom go to General section and refer stickied threads. You can download everything from there. Instructions also given there. You have to search little bit bro. I can't provide all links. I hope you understand.
