Hey guys. Moved from the GS3/HTC 8X to the DNA and love it. Was wondering if anyone has a solution. Trying to use HD Widgets and mClock. mClock'skins show up very small due to our xhdpi screen, and on HD Widgets, the widget shows up fine but the clock number text is too big for its background.
Anyone have and good mClock skins they reccomend for this phone?
Anyone have the same issue with HD Widgets and have a solution?

not familiar with mClock. but I do use HD widgets. seem to be working normally.

Was my bad - got an unexpected clock background size for XXHDPI. I did a basic fix which should be in the next update. We'll still only be using XHDPI images for now.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a honeycomb lock screen that we could put on to this bad boy?
I am currently using LP+ with the honeycomb theme and would love the lock screen to go with it but cannot seem to find ones except for those tagged on the 'CM7'...

Widget locker is your answer.Download from Market and then search for honeycomb lock theme and you are done

Just installed this app, am very impressed with it's functionality and choice of themes.
Am hoping it's not going to effect the battery usage too much...
Can anyone confirm this, the HTC flyer wifi only model doesn't have the ability to have scrolling wallpaper?
Is there a way to enable it in sense?

Nope, this version of Sense does not do scrolling wallpaper. Same as sense 3.0 for the phones.

Thank you. Bummer. Liked a bigger wall... The price of progress, I suppose.
I alternate between ADW Launcher and the sense. Of course the widgets sizes ( I don't use any on mine) are not as large as with the Sense but I am working on that.

not only wifi...i have a 3G model and same story: doesn't have a scrolling wallpaper. also the dock skins, are not changeable (even in preview is showing with a round corners, when it applied it will be straight as before....)

As seen from my screenshot I hope you all can help me out. The go sms widget is higher than the rest of the applications and the text has a black background. I don't have any other apps that I'm using. How can I get this widget to align properly? I've tried handcent's widget and it does the same thing. Is this an evo software issue? An application issue? Or an issue on my end that I can fix somehow?

I'm using LauncherPro and just yesterday I stumbled on this post on xda.
Now, I don't care about the wallpaper, but I really like those buttons. So first I did try to find the icon pack (it is called "Manup's Simple Word Icons 116SET") and then tried to make some of the icons myself, but each time I noticed that the words just aren't readable on the screen (too small!).
So I was wondering, does anybody use such a theme and is willing to shear it, or does somebody has a solution for this? Or is our resolution really that bad?

Hey, I tried using this app too once and had the same problem, I'm not very clued up on Photoshop so never tried to solve it that way......
Instead I used another app custom launcher icons, which gave me the text icons that we're readable. There wasn't much customization in it though so got bored quickly, I think the icons in that picture are actually blank icons placed over a custom dock background which has the text on it.
I've done it that way before a while ago, let me have a search for the theme which came with blank icons n ill get back to you.
EDIT: The theme I used for the blank icons was called sense adw theme by androidfeens.
You can use the blank icons from that then find a custom dock with the text on.

No I tell a lie he did actually use that app to make the text icons and then placed them on top of a custom dock. Must be our resolution that sucks with the app, oh well glad you reminded me about this just made my own custom dock again.

Interesting approach, but the only restriction is that this way of working limits the amount of docks to just one, as the dock-background is the same for every dock..
Yeh that is a problem for multi dock users, doesn't affect me as I only use one, for the basic phone functions.

A bit late, but I've found an app that creates readable word icons! It is called 'Simple text - text icon creator', is made by 'redphx' and can be found in the market for free. For a screenshot, check attachment.

It was working fine but now it's gone.
I tried to add it back and the widget it 4x4 and wont fit
I swear there used to be a 2x2 version but it's missing now.

I simply resized my widget. I'm currently at 2 X 3. Using Apex shell, if that matters.

Well, I created a new home screen and was able to get the widget onto it, and then was able to resize it as you mentioned.
I dunno why it changed on me, but thanks to you I got it working.

Clearly the issue was a problem between the screen and the chair.
I wish they would have let us have the widget at the top of the screen on all the home screens like you can in normal ICS/JB. I use it a lot.
