Hello everyone, I got into airplane mode by mistake and now the phone doesn't disable it. When I try to disable it my phone freezes, I can't enter recovery by key combo. Does anyone know how to fix the airplane mode problem? I thought that I can install Quick Boot or something to enter recovery mode to wipe but will it be usable without home key?? Thanks in advance.

Just go to settings using the menu button. Select more settings and you disable airplane mode there
GT-I9100 powered by
NeatRom Lite 4.0
Philz kernal 3.75
Many40's battery tweaks
You can enter to recovery by typing in adb
Code:
$ su
# reboot recovery
I didn't try from settings to disable airplane mode. Lets hope it will help. In recovery selecting is with home or power button or both? Don't remember actually.
I tried to do that from settings but nothing happened. What can I do from recovery without wiping? Anyone knows how to do that? If there isn't any solution I will wipe. Thanks.

Great job Shoman with this ROM. I updated from 3.0.4 to 3.1.0 without doing a wipe/factory reset. I now notice some Extended Power Menu functions no longer execute properly. The menu appears, but after selecting some of the options (Power Off/Restart/Recovery/Download) the screen blanks and may eventually reboot. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

LOL. I apologize if i'm not understanding your situation.... But selecting any of those options is supposed to make the screen go blank and reboot into the selected task.
Except for Power Off, of course.
Power Off does not Power Off, Recovery does not enter Recovery mode and Download does not enter Download mode. Upon selection the screen blanks, keys backlight and after an extended period of time usually reboots.
maybe a bad flash? check md5 and if all else fails, you can try a full wipe

Can you still boot to recovery?
Did you flash jivy26's kernel cleaning script after flashing to 3.1?
Do that first then fix permissions.
I got the Power Off and Restart to function properly by flashing Kernel Cleaner and ROM, but not on the Recovery and Download mode. I’ll get latest SHOStock2 (v3.1.1) and try again. Thanks for all replies.
After installing clockwork recovery, my TF201 booted up and I accidentally was still holding the down on the volume switch and then accidentally hit wipe data. I turned it off as fast as I could and now my device can't boot. It hangs at the ASUS splash screen and I cannot even enter recovery mode with the volume button and power switch.
I cannot enter fastboot mode or any of those modes at all...
Hi all.
I entered recovery mode (through the advanced reboot menu in CM, but that doesn't matter).
My power button doesn't work, and everything was fine without it until I entered recovery mode - now I can't exit it.
The problem is I can't select "reboot system now" from the recovery menu because power button is the selector (and as I said, it doesn't work) so I tried taking the battery out and then turning on but it enters recovery mode every time.
I didn't do anything through recovery mode so no harm was done to my working system.
Also, my PC doesn't recognize my phone when in recovery mode so I can't run adb commands. I don't know why - I have the latest usb drivers installed.
Is there any way to exit recovery mode without the power button?
Thanks a lot. :good:
Use touch CWM or Philz touch or TWRP
Ended up with fixing my power button.
Thanks any way.
By the way, discovered rainbow mode (volume down + up together) of CWM... pretty funny.
Hi, i have a big problem. The internet didn't work and i wanted to reboot the tablet, then it just bootloops. If I press power button+volume down it will show up a screen with 3 options:
1) Recovery Mode
2) Fastboot mode
3) Reboot
If I press recovery mode it will still bootloop, the same for the 3rd option, but if I press fastboot it will show up the text "Fastboot..."
Can anyone help me?
How do you get into recovery mode? Running Android 10 Build QKQ1 and can't seem to access recovery mode through the power button and volume up combination.
Forgot the password, so can't reset the phone through Settings either.
try using PC with Minimal adb and fastboot
if anyone find any way to boot into recovery pleas reply
