Anyone know one? Those I tried in the Playstore seem wildly inaccurate.
A GPS/compass app I got off of 1Mobile advised me that "this phone" doesn't have a magnetic compass sensor. Could have something to do with it.

I'm gonna throw this out and see what happens.
I just got Efficasoft GPS Utilities for my wizard. So far I like it, but it doesn't come with maps loaded on them. Which is the only thing that bothers me about it.
On their website, they say you can make maps using a google maps screen capture. but the biggest map I can generate is a 5 mile radius and that's no good to me.
Anyone have any ideas on getting some decent maps to work with it?
I've searched for collectively around 45 minutes, so if this has been fixed somewhere else, I apologize.
I've seen lots of threads mentioning this issue with varying causes, but here's the meat of the situation:
Through one means or another, usually Amazon App Store purchase or accidental force attach to Market/Play Store with Titanium backup, apps show up as purchased, but cannot be bought or installed. An error is given that states: 'The download of "app name" was declined because you haven't purchased it.'
Detaching said apps from Market/Play store with Titanium backup has worked for me for ONE paid app, (I think) but not others. Examples: NFS: Hot Pursuit worked, but Shadowgun, Soundhound: Infinity, Mixologist and others still show up as purchased. I've downgraded to earlier Market and detached, detached and cleared Market data and then rebooted, any number of combinations to no avail.
I contacted Play Store support, they said there's a special division working on this issue, and I received an email saying they'd contact me if they needed any details.
Thoughts, anyone? This is really glaring, and should be fixed.
same thing going on here, and i've donde the same, please share if they tell you something m8, this is really annoying and the 50% off is almost done LOL.
As of play store 3.5 this issue is dead

I've recently tried to purchase a couple of things "in app" and, in every case, the purchase goes through and then the app crashes. The result being that Google Play thinks I've bought it (and has charged me for it), but the app doesn't think I've got the item.
This has happened with a couple of different apps, so I don't think it's app specific - more likely a problem with Google Play.
One of the apps has a "restore in app purchases" option, but it's still unable to find my purchases.
I've emailed the developers in question, but have not yet received a reply. I will continue to contact them, but I wondered if anyone else was having this problem and if anyone knew of a way to prevent it from happening in the future?

GPS is independent of wifi or your data service...
google maps should work but if not then there are several others in the Play store... MapFactor being one of them
doesnt have navigation, but Maverick is nice for world GPS mappings
Stock Google Maps
Depending on the version you have, stock Google Maps can cache maps for offline use. If you're using the (slightly) older version, you can do it easily by pressing the menu key, selecting Make Available Offline and selecting the area you want to cache.
If you're using the newest Maps, you'll notice the option is gone. Instead, you'll have to zoom in over the area you want to cache, and type in "ok maps" into the search bar and press enter/go. A translucent dialog at the bottom of the screen should appear notifying you that the map has been cached.
Once cached; you should not require a internet connection to use maps. Though I have never actually used it offline, so I am not entirely sure what the experience is like. Also note that this does not save satellite/aerial imaging. Only navigational maps.
Hi, I have a Sprint S3 that has been rooted and loaded with CM10.2.1.
My compass seems correct (from various compass apps) But the google maps direction doesn't seem to match what the compass is saying. Can anyone help?
Thanks
