it doesnt work it reads my usb memory as a SD card , my sd card is 8 gb and it reads my usb memory as 11 gb
I don't understand You Have Usb memory and SD card ? can you explain ?
there is plenty of space for apps on sgs2 .. so you dont need to install them on your SD-Card ...
the internal SD Card is much faster though .. so you will have more fun starting them

There are several methods(whatever method you will need root) , one is swapping the internal and external memory card so all apps will directly install into the sd card(there are several threads on how to do it, I think there is an app in play store too) , and other method is using a third party application like directory bind.
Edit:
A simple search gave me this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010152 it contains the vold.fstab file for your version too.
You should try searching properly, If one man can do it, another can.
Using GT - I9100
Just hit the damn help button if I helped you.

Hi , ive looked for an answer to this but couldnt find conclusive solution so here i am .
I replaced about 10 roms in my android "career" and along the way i got many files packing up my sd card , now im not sure what i can erase without hurting my device system . Any suggestions ? Maybe an app that does that ?
TY
Most should be fine to delete without harm. Just did the same myself.

There should be no issue deleting ROM files from your sd card. They do not form part of the running system, so no issue.

Dear Friends, is there any way I can move application to external card on my Galaxy S3? No apps can do this for now. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.
You could always use Android Commander to pull the apps to your PC and then put them on your SD card. You may also be able to use Titanium Backup to do it, but I'm not sure about that.
I would be interested in doing this as well, maybe there is a way to directly install to extSD?
Installing apps in SD card I dont know but you can use Titanium backup to backup them and restore back after a fresh flash install I think..
U can move apps to sd with app2sd hack or with a couple different apps from play store
I think app2sd is useless in S3.

In detail > do u mean what programs i tried to use? if it is apps are (a2sp pro - link2sd - app2sd -gl to sd - and much more programs )
i just can not move apps or games to my external sd card
when i used (app2sd) program it gives me this msg : the device does not have a real primary external storage or the primary external storage is emulated .
My device is (samsung galaxy S3 - odin rooted )
any solution? thx in advance
I think your /sdcard is internal memory. The /mnt/extsdcard is external memory. If you removed your external sdcard do all your files and stuff disappear or are they still there?
If you are rooted I think you can change where everything gets mounted or maybe change it in your boot.img.
Also, it's not for nothing. Consider this an educational journey into the rich world of rooted phones.

First thx and about stuff disappear , no i can still see them whenever i use usb cable or any
its my first android so am new to expressions (your boot.img)
its ok just wanted to have more memory cuz my empty memory is 700 mb :S right now
and am using the factory rom ( maybe i have to setup rom so it can work?)
about education am afraid to educate on my s3 maybe i have to buy a cheap one until i learn how to use
thx again bro
Since you are rooted you can install a custom rom that has no bloatware. You'll get more space because it will only have the apps that you want

Dear all good day .
I am very new to this forum and also to Android tablets.
I have purchased iball slide 3G 7271 ( 3G model ) (Android version 4.0.4) in India. Available Interneal SD memory 2GB.
I have external micro SD card slot expandable upto 32GB.
I have downloaded and installed many games in it...but now whenever I try to download new ones , it says "INSUFFICIENT SD MEMORY"
In order to use my external SD card for installing the games and other things....
I have gone through Google search and found ""FolderMount "" software and downloaded to my tab.
I have installed also. It was successful.
but problem is....when I open FolderMount, it says......""serching for root "" ( with one EXIT button to cancel)....and doing nothing beyond that.
I request you all to help me in this matter with good solution.
thanks for your help in advance
regards
suryam

you will have to search that on google or something, maybe there's a way to do that on your device.
most lesser known devices don't have a rooting guide.
maybe you can use this
Try with link2sd:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259175

Hello,
I've got a quick question because I didn't found any methods that helped me out. Is there a way to move apps to my SD card?
YES, root acces is available. I found some threads here about the SD cards but like I said nothing helped me out. Could someone explain it to me? Btw I also installed the KitKat Fixer for the SD Card.
Thanks for help...
