Hello,
I've got a quick question because I didn't found any methods that helped me out. Is there a way to move apps to my SD card?
YES, root acces is available. I found some threads here about the SD cards but like I said nothing helped me out. Could someone explain it to me? Btw I also installed the KitKat Fixer for the SD Card.
Thanks for help...

In detail > do u mean what programs i tried to use? if it is apps are (a2sp pro - link2sd - app2sd -gl to sd - and much more programs )
i just can not move apps or games to my external sd card
when i used (app2sd) program it gives me this msg : the device does not have a real primary external storage or the primary external storage is emulated .
My device is (samsung galaxy S3 - odin rooted )
any solution? thx in advance
I think your /sdcard is internal memory. The /mnt/extsdcard is external memory. If you removed your external sdcard do all your files and stuff disappear or are they still there?
If you are rooted I think you can change where everything gets mounted or maybe change it in your boot.img.
Also, it's not for nothing. Consider this an educational journey into the rich world of rooted phones.

First thx and about stuff disappear , no i can still see them whenever i use usb cable or any
its my first android so am new to expressions (your boot.img)
its ok just wanted to have more memory cuz my empty memory is 700 mb :S right now
and am using the factory rom ( maybe i have to setup rom so it can work?)
about education am afraid to educate on my s3 maybe i have to buy a cheap one until i learn how to use
thx again bro
Since you are rooted you can install a custom rom that has no bloatware. You'll get more space because it will only have the apps that you want

it doesnt work it reads my usb memory as a SD card , my sd card is 8 gb and it reads my usb memory as 11 gb
I don't understand You Have Usb memory and SD card ? can you explain ?
there is plenty of space for apps on sgs2 .. so you dont need to install them on your SD-Card ...
the internal SD Card is much faster though .. so you will have more fun starting them

There are several methods(whatever method you will need root) , one is swapping the internal and external memory card so all apps will directly install into the sd card(there are several threads on how to do it, I think there is an app in play store too) , and other method is using a third party application like directory bind.
Edit:
A simple search gave me this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010152 it contains the vold.fstab file for your version too.
You should try searching properly, If one man can do it, another can.
Using GT - I9100

Dear all good day .
I am very new to this forum and also to Android tablets.
I have purchased iball slide 3G 7271 ( 3G model ) (Android version 4.0.4) in India. Available Interneal SD memory 2GB.
I have external micro SD card slot expandable upto 32GB.
I have downloaded and installed many games in it...but now whenever I try to download new ones , it says "INSUFFICIENT SD MEMORY"
In order to use my external SD card for installing the games and other things....
I have gone through Google search and found ""FolderMount "" software and downloaded to my tab.
I have installed also. It was successful.
but problem is....when I open FolderMount, it says......""serching for root "" ( with one EXIT button to cancel)....and doing nothing beyond that.
I request you all to help me in this matter with good solution.
thanks for your help in advance
regards

you will have to search that on google or something, maybe there's a way to do that on your device.
most lesser known devices don't have a rooting guide.
maybe you can use this
Try with link2sd:

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum. First of all, let me thank you for the amount of documentation and useful information that you have here! Nice job!!
I've been following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254358 for moving my apps into my SD card.
I expected a lot of free space as I was moving facebook, twitter, google play services and some other, but after moving them, the apps seems to be installed in my SD but I don't get any free space...
am I doing something wrong? any other way for movind apps?( I've read about link2SD, but it needs a partitioned SD card and now I don't know if, after repartiotioning it, I'll get the same results...)
Any other stuff that I can remove from my interna memory?
TIA,
Arnau

Bro follow this guide. It works great. Here is the link,
How to increase the Internal Memory
Repartitioning will delete the existing ext partition from sdcard, then format you sdcard and finally creates a new ext partition to the sdcard. So it will work for sure. Hope I Helped
Hello,
So, the Titanium Backup workaround does not work
Seems that I should start from there, even before installing custom ROM. (I guess I could do a backup of my apps and then restore).
Anyway, I'll try thant and take the opportunity to upgrade my ROM (I realized that I installed Ace-i-sure 8 instead of latest (12).
Thnaks to both for you answers,
Cheers,
Arnau

Hi all,
As to this stock lollipop firmware from Sony, have they allowed apps to write to sd card without root?
If not, I will stick to stock android 4.3.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

me to i tested it not working
i tried this lollipop its not working moving to sdcard.
im searching lollipop root for sony z ultra but dont have im deleted lollipop i hate this.
Because we cant moving apps to sdcard.
I had no problems moving apps to sd... You are doing it wrong... No root necessary
I am still on 4.4.4 with root and LB as I dont want to upgrade to lollipop and lose root+x reality. The update detail says "move apps to sd card" so I guess we can only move apps.
Yes, I believe you can move some apps to SD card ? . I believe it mentions this on Sony Xperia™ support site.

You can move apps to SD cards. But they don't support to write access to SD cards for files . Using third party apps.
example uKto, Share it , etc

So it still has the same problem as 4.4, damn it, why would they do that... I guess I'll wait for an easy and tested root method before upgrading then.

this is true. although some apps have workarounds (ex. x-plore), a lot of apps still can't write to sd with lollipop 5.0.2 on xperia.
