[Q] JB4.2 Notification Drawer Calendar link - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Jelly Bean 4.2 (via CM10.1) shows the date at the top of the notification drawer (circled in the attached picture). If I tap the date, it opens the default calendar. Does anyone know if I can change the link to a different calendar app (e.g. Business Calendar).
Thanks,

Aokp offers that option but it ain't yet available for 4.2

It's not the size of the calendar that's the issue, it's that the widget only displays the upcoming events. I don't see any options where I can see the actual calendar for the month.
i have the same problem and install teh apk of the calendar of stock rom dont work thoes anybody now how to port calendar of stock rom to mik???
get a widget from market which shows you the whole month calendar

Change default action of a notification, ie calendar?

Is there a way to change the action of selecting a notification - ie a Calendar notification in the status bar - if I select it, it will open the item in the Android Calendar - however I would like it to open a different calendar app - Business Calendar in this case.
Thanks,
Nope. You'll have to disable the default calendar notifications and have the other app notify.
Sent from my SGS II
I was afraid of that... yeah the "other" calendar app (Business Calendar) uses the Android Calendar for notifications, and doesn't have it's own notification system. Hopefully the dev will update the app soon.

[Q] Calendar to notification bar

How can i add calendar events like (tasks, reminder etc) to the notification bar?
I have Jelly Bean 4.1.1 in my Galaxy s3

calendar widget does not update

I have the problem, that the calendar widget does only update, when scrolling down. I have resized the widget to one full home screen, so that scrolling is possible, but the widget only updates, when i start scrolling but it should update when the event or day is over, but it does not. does anyone else has the same problem?
I'm on lates stock 4.1.B.0.587
which Calendar widget are you using ?
the Stock widget does not show the Month Calendar in widget, it just shows the upcoming events.
yes, i use the stock widget wich shows the upcoming events. and when there are many events it is scrollable when enlarged
Force stop your Launcher, from All Application menu in Setting - Applications.
seems like it is a bug, it does not work and is independend from force stop of the launcher. same problem happens when restarting the phone

[Q] missed calls on lockscreen

Hi.
I just got the 4.3.1 android on my s3. Is there a way to add missed calls to show on lockscreen?
Download NiLs from the Google Playstore. It provides a widget which displays all notifications which you can put on the lockscreen (just like iOS)
