hey I am running CM 10 with the latest nightly. I installed the 4.2 camera and most everything works. However when I go into the photosphere mode the individual pictures are misshapen, they are choppy, jump around and it is very hard/impossible to get the circle on the blue dot. Also when I get a complete picture taken and look in the gallery, I get a lot of white flashes if I'm not zoomed all the way out. I tried reinstating and did a factory reset, clearing the app's data and cache. I'm out of ideas, any suggestions? Thanks

I guess I was just expecting it to be more fluid. Hopefully an update someday will clear it up. Thanks

Firstly I'd like to thank shoman for this rom. Everything is running smooth as silk except for the picture frame widget. When the phone first boots, the frame cycles through the selected pictures. However, after a while they seem to get stuck. If I tap on the widget and cancel the selection, the slide show works for a bit and then goes static again.
Anyone else have this issue with Shostock2 or any other ICS from?
I'm having this issue as well. On the latest version of shoman's rom. Any ideas?

Just tried it. Cycled through 178 pics without a hiccup.
Maybe its an issue with picture format or SD card?
Hmm.. I don't think that is it. All pictures taken with stock camera and stored on internal storage. I'm still trying to play with different settings to see if I can find the cause. I thought it might be caused by locking the desktop with apex. But problem persists whether locked or unlocked.

Hi,
Both me and my girlfriend have the sk17i. We have noticed that on most of the photos we take the photos are quite green looking. are there any settings to get rid of this or camera drivers we can update?
Help appreciated,
Thanks
There might still be a small plastic cover on your camera lens. Did you checked?
Sent from my WT19i using XDA
we took those off when we get the phone. there is no tint on videos
Try different camera app to test

camera 360 appears to work well. Anyone know why the stock camera adds a green tint to everything? its a bit disappointing as I like all the options on stock..
thanks melander!
are you using stock rom and kernel?.
what fw version do you have?.
if stock, try going to applications then clear data on camera app, test.
try also doing factory reset in privacy setting.
an update may be available, try to do so...
if using custom rom, then try reinstalling it,
clear data, partition, dalvik, reflash rom...
Hi,
I used a google app to change the dpi. i chooses 180 but it froze, so what i did was a recovery and restore from backup.
but since then i have a bad screen quality. I took a screenshot so you can see.it´s looks like a 8bit trying to display a 16 bit. You can clearly see this "degrade" on the icons top.
The screen does look ok, because i can display pictures or any type of content and it looks good. The problem is with some TWiz menu.
take a look at the "keypad" square. You can clearly see the lines there. It happens only there and on some menus, but mostly there.
I tried reinstalling the ROM with Odin, doing a wipe cache and factory reset and same results.
any thoughts?

take a look at how it looks the keypad. It has some lines, it´s not smooth the color transitions.
This is how is suppose to look, take attention to where it says keypad.

Seems fine to me pal!
This is not really a question, but more of a suggestion for those who can't stand to use the current Camera on Liquid and Jesters Roms. Personally, I take a lot of pictures with my phone and the quality from that APK was quite bad when it was dark compared to what it was.
So after a lot of research, here's what I did:
Downloaded Root Explorer from the Google Play.
Browsed to system/app
Mount R/W and deleted Camera.apk
Downloaded this camera apk from MIUI: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15307536&postcount=167
Installed it and voila - working camera with focus.
Note: Camcorder still doesn't work
I'm not sure if it's required to uninstall the Camera.apk (chances are no), however it's what I done.
think this may work with AOKP?
No go

You mean it shows the controls, but a blank screen right? You have to take one picture like that, and after that it displays the screen and it works fine. You'll have to do that each time you start up the app unfortunately, but still it's better than crap quality and no focus.

Are there any stock CM 10.1 messaging apps out there that will correctly show a picture that has text attached? Any time I get a picture with text attached it comes up as a slideshow.....but when you click it the picture comes up and closes out before you can get a chance to see anything. I've tried the stock app on Slimbean, CM 10.1 Black, Xylon, and Carbon and they all do the same thing. I am in NO WAY interested in switching to a third party app ....just want to know if there is a stock version out there that works correctly. If not I'll just deal with it. Thanks
Always wondered the same. Hopefully someone chimes in on this. For now I just save the attachments and view em with quickpic.

Tap and hold for a little bit. Eventually, a menu should pop up. Then just tap on the "save picture" option, or however Cyanogenmod phrased it.
