This should work... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901098
I know it says for the S3 but it will still backup.

there is no need to backup imei on this device since the factory backup is not corrupted like it was on the s3...however if it bothers you then just type "reboot nv backup" in terminal.

Hi,
Well...
Today I discovered that I am obligated to root my device so that I will not loose me app data.
I have the copy paste bug in stock JB.
Doing root I will also erase some bloatware, what apps are safe to erase?
Can I still update in future ota updates?

If you're just backing up a rom, just leave all the boxes alone because TWRP has it preset. Anddddddd you're in the Development Section.

Look at the other posts in this section and tell me what's different then yours.
Why would you post this here? You've been around for a while you know where to post a question and it isn't in development.
And don't change the defaults just hit backup

We're not trying to be the bad guy but the development threads need to stay clean from General post to avoid confusion. I just helped you out by requesting the thread moved, that's all. :good:

Meant to add reported as well. I'm a little harsh because it seems like a lot of this around the note 2 forum and I just expect old vets like the op to not contribute and like you said need to keep development thread clean. Plus the mods have a lot to do and shouldn't have to spend time moving threads for people.
By the way I wasn't trying to be a complete jerk that's why I even answered his question, but DroidOnRoids beat me to it.

I have a friend that has the boost version and I am wondering which version it is so I can find a case for it. To many SII version and it seems each one is different.

And we don't care. So...You won't be getting answers to your questions until you report your OP & ask mods to move it here.

I was wondering if there was a factory image for Verizon gs4 yet. I always like to keep it on hand just incase something gets messed up or needs time be sent back to Verizon. Root removal and stock Rom.
I too would love to have one on hand, and would be really awesome if mobile Odin could be updated to make work on gs4

Sorry I'm still pretty new to xda and root stuff so I don't know what the dev section is. Could you send me a link?
I'm still pretty scared of breaking this phone.
