i just got the dock with the hdmi out and the three usb ports. i have a minor prob. the output on the tv is too dim compared to the tv shows or when i connect the pc. the settings of display brightness are disabled on the phone menu when it's connected to the tv. is there a way to increase the brightness of the video feed the phone sends to the tv? the tvs brightness is as max but the video sent by the phone is dim

Does anyone know if an App has been made to adjust screen settings when the phone is hooked up to a television with an MHL Adapter?
What i need is something to disable phone screen while plugged in to the tv, and a way to lock the screen to landscape orientation.
Please advice if you are aware of an app with the specified functions.
I´m also interessted in this... also which files are related to the output settings, since ALL my videos stutters via MHL, ..... refreshrate is always at 30 Hz (1080p)
make a request to the voodoo colour devs to add this maybe?
When my hdmi displays on the television, it doesnt seem to fit correctly. The vertical and horizontal lengths are off and it is also not centered. I've aligned the tv options to try to fit it as best as possible but there are not any android actions i can use to help. Any suggestions???
Is it possible that my cables just sucks?
The prime just chops off the notification/system bar. You may want to check the hdmi scan info in your tv hdmi options - it could be set as overscan which can cause the issue. Set it to auto or underscan.
After the .21 update there is scaling now which i love because i could never get full screen on my 1080 tv. but now when i plug in the hdmi in to my 720 tv the status bar shows on the tv, changing the ratio to 16:10 (i think) leaving bars on the side and when i go into the hdmi settings, there is no settings to fix it. anyone had this problem?
But movies do play fullscreen?!?!
So when playing a video on my Plasma, using the phone's HDMI output, I get severe black clipping/black crush on the TV. Absolutely no detail in dark scenes. It's probably because TV's are designed with the 16-235 color range and the phones/laptops with full 0-255 range.
Is there any way to configure these settings? In the service settings *#*#7378423#*#* there's options for outputting 1080p/24Hz which is great for movies and works like a charm. Is there way to output 16-235 color range through the HDMI?
I have installed this on my 32 bit PC and it works well except it only goes to my LG HDMI TV 1920x1080 and it displays a little larger than the actual screen. On the Remix mini I could go to settings/display and just click the - to reduce the screen until it fit on my TV.
Remis OS for PC does not seem to have this option in the display settings
Is there a way to do this and is there a way to just have the display to show up on my normal monitor if i want ??
Thanks in advance....
