I have rooted the just purchased Spice mi-530 with the help of "Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18". However there is no CW recovery or Custom firmware in the XDA Threads.
I just know little bit of Android and able to manage with trial and error.
Can any one help and provide the Recovery image or zip files. I have put aside my Galaxy note one and shifted to Spice mi-530 because it is fast and smooth. I was also able to see flawless films and videos.
If any one help with the Custom recovery and custom JB ROMs it will be fentastic.

hey...bro if you can give me stock recovery.img i can compile a cwm for this device.....
i too own this device but lost the stock recovery.img.....i have been looking around for stock rom of this device but no luck....if you can attach recovery.img i can start some development (hopefully)....
u can use the gscript method to take a backup of your rom and recovery.img as well.....

I was also lost my factory recovery due to flashing wrong recovery.img. now no other recovery working on it. I also rooted this via restore_ binary.
now if any one have stock recovery or custom please provide.

Spice Mi-530 has a hardware build of mtk6577 China phone model. Any CWM Recovery is spotted for that model in XDA, then little work need to be done to suit this.

There isnt a MT6572 that I have ever heard of, try using the MTK Droid Tools from this link and it will tell you what your actual processor is.

Also, if it is indeed a MT6577 I would say try using Motochopper, it works on a few other MT6577 devices. Then if it doesnt work try this chinese root program, I have had pretty good success with it on a number of chinese devices:

If neither of those quick one click root methods work look at post #5 from first link for directions on how to port CWM recovery to your device using MTK Droid Tools and SP Flash Tool.

This method? It was posted back in Feb of this year by the guy that made the MTK Droid Tools, it has been on XDA for quite a while. Be sure to thank Rua1 if you use his tool and method! Same directions you posted Rua1 has in post #5 of the thread linked below. I just want to make sure credit is given where it is due, all of us with MTK devices would be stuck without Rua1's tool!!!

MTKDroidTools still don't fully support 6572, there are some attempts on china-iphone.ru, but looks like ROMs for 6572 have differences from 6577/6589

If the chinese root tool I posted above dont work, try installing SRT Appscanner on your device, if either of the exploits says vulnerable, then you might be able to use this (If it says success then you would just need to install SuperSU and update su binary for root access):

I somehow wanna root my phone without bricking it.Need all step-by-step instructions guys. m sorry to post in your thread but need some help here, since we are on the same topic felt appropriate to post here. Any help is much appreciated. If it's possible to install clockworkmod recovery. Do share that too.

Lava Iris 402 Root
Framaroot works for Lava Iris 402. Do create backups before and after installing root. Search for options to create backup before rooting so that it can be restored to claim warranty in case of any hardware issues.

I have also Lava iris 356 3g. I already rooted my phone successfully by SRSroot application found by pc net.
Try this or follow the instructions. If you fail then try mobogeniu application for pc.

First, download framaroot .then after installing it,selet "install supersu".after succes msg reboot your iris 356 3g.

But you can try to install it after you replace its boot.img with Stock Opus boot.img

use MTK DROID Tool which automatically put the CWM recovery into your phone. use 2.4.8 and above version. Kindly google it and find. Or you can read my ports or other developers port in this forum and learn.
This will help you in future to face any problem in your Andoid phones. If you have any difficulties in google and find and exercise, then let us know.
Hi I just found out that the Xolo Q1000 Opus is the same exact phones as the Mobiistar Lai Touch 504Q (vietnamese phone). EXACTLY THE SAME.
AND apparently this is popular in vietnam so you can look in their forums. ( I am using google translate)

OK lemme make it clear, Opus is BROADCOM not MEDIATEK so MTK DROIDtypes of software wont work on it. It will only work on q1000 not q1000 opus

Well, first, i think i screwed my phone (Wiko Cink Five).
I was trying to get an unlock code for Huawei Ideos X3 and i acidentaly instaled the Huawei bootloader into my Wiko.
Now the phone don't goes further than "Wiko" beggining image.
It don't let me do the bootload nor recovery.
Anyone can help me?
