See if reflashing ferakernel helps with gaining access to recovery..

The problem was that I was not using an unlocked boot loader. The problem is gone after unlocking the boot loader

Hi everybody;
As many of you know, some roms need an unlocked bootloader in order to work ! like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25331067&postcount=2452
but when I tried to relock the bootloader I've faced a sim recognition problem 'no signal'
does any body know how to help me ?
Thanks for your interest
Did u relock bootloader after installing a custom ROM or are u still on Sony stock firmware?

I tried relocking it on sony stock gb 2.3.3 and got no signal
Do you have a solution for this ?

I'm on jaf rom and the rom has crashed a couple of times, once making it kindof screwed up so had to restore from some point
the thread said if this happened, flash a new kernel
Which kernel is best suited.
and hoe exactly to do it? I'm on locked bootloader. Do I just flash via xrec?

You're stuck at the Sony Ericsson logo, so there's always something you can still do, your phone is still responding. What did you do to get to this state?
Search before you post. You're not the first in the forums with this problem.

I couldn't flash karnel by pressing back button. But flashed a custom rom without changing karnel. How can I flash karnel?

You have to unlock your bootloader to flash a kernel.
Go back to stock first, using SUS or PC Companion, then search for instructions in unlocking your bootloader.
Thanks for response...
