I never knew that my streak only has 2 point multi touch as shown by Antutu tester. Using PCM7
Is it Max our streak is capable of? Other devices show off that they are 5 or 10 point multi touch! Are there any benefits of having more point multi touch?

Two points and it's hardware limit.

I am not sure but 1.6 doesn't support multi touch right? I was excited to get to play emulators with multi touch, coming from xperia. Just confirming what i think i know.

I've been trying to search around as to why you'd need anything more than 3 fingers touching the screen at once(realistically only 2), and i can't find anything.
can someone explain the reasoning for it?
same thing with the 10 point multitouch.
Im with you, but if had to guess, it's because we can.

Yup... just to show how awesome our devices are

games such as fruit ninja/slice? also showing how awesome atrix is. compared it with my friends thunderbolt 4 and charge 5 point touch!
consider this...
i know that we have the fingerprint scanner which seems to be a good tool for privacy. but a multi-point / pattern should increase the security of the pattern, if that's your lock preference.
and i'm sure it wont be long until we see mods for zooming and scrolling. possibly even page flipping. personally i'd like to see it incorporated to work with the clipboard. that would greatly multiply browsing and searching speed. not to mention the uses that could be handy with terminal emulator.

why do you need more than 2 or even 3 fingers for that game?
i guess the best answer here is "because we can"
I've got only dualtouch in my x10, can I have more than 2 points touch? What I must do?
EDIT:
Sorry for mistake in title, it was going to be 'does' not doed.

No. It does not support it. It will never EVER support it. At least you pro bunch have dual touch. I would kill to have that. It's more than enough! Why do you want more? You greedy =(...

It's f****ing bad phone, I'm going to buy DROID Razr. Dualtouch sucks.

The mini has propper dual touch.
Meaning 2 touches.. no axis bugs.
you would have to be insane to require more than 2 fingers on that tiny screen.
Jesus... I'm looking for that because when I touch with third finger, it blocks until I get it back

Too right. Screen is way too small.
hi
apparently the xperia plays 1ghz processor has been clocked to 2ghz....
now in my streak the kernel allows a stable 1.190ghz, and for about 30 seconds I can get 1.5ghz before it reboots.
theoretically what is the dell streaks maximum if the right kernel was made?
Sent from my Dell Streak using xda premium
It's chip dependant, the HD2 has been known to go up to 1.5ghz and it uses the same chip. But everything has to work right together at that clock for it to be stable.
From reading here and on other boards, it seems that the most streaks won't go over 1200Mhz, without getting unstable. My streak actually don't like anything above 1119Mhz.
But as TheManii said, it's different from chip to chip and so from streak to streak
Yes, the most common stable OC cap is 1119mhz, OCing depends on the entire system, mabye one of the other chips or the way it's organized on the board is the reason it cant go higher.
ok thanks for the info, I initially thought that with the right kernel, maybe the streak could match the xperias 2ghz....

what kernel/software you running??
link?
just running dsc rom 0.64b, if you install 0.65b the highest you can go to is 1267mhz, so ill stick with 0.64 as it works fine for me, pretty responsive too
Hey I have a cracked screen on my Venue 8 7000. Has any one tried out to see if the tablet offers MHL support?
Sent from my Robin using XDA-Developers mobile app
According to specs no. They prompted casting the screen instead.
