im a noob to razr, i used to have defy till several days ago
so i root it and after flashed some roms i found that
the EDGE data not works in the roms expect the stock one
is it the problem of sth like baseband? how should i do?
mine is xt910 i guess it's GSM... but i don't sure how to distinguish gsm and cdma :S

edit: it works in Eclipse 1.5 + GSM patch, but still not for JB roms (((

I recently got a tmobile HD2, im from Costa Rica
I was previously using a tmobile g1 with no problems
when I got it it came with the Stock ROM i guess and a build from android
phire mod i think
when I unlocked it and put my sim in it started to have signal problems
for a moment it had good strength but then it went completely out of signal
I have tried several radios with no luck
im currently using 2.08.50.08 radio with Elegancia ROM and trying to use
my friend's hd2 is having no problems
I have tried so far the following radio roms
-2.14.50.04
-2.15.50.14
-2.10.50.08_2

Back in the pre-pudding days, flashing an AT&T radio on an International Atrix was a bad idea. Now that our bootloaders are unlocked, is that still the case? Is the worst that can happen a soft brick, or are there harder bricks waiting to happen?
It's safe to fastboot protocol with RSDlite. I did it the other day tryng a newer radio sbf. Worked fine. The problem from what I've been reading is downgrading to a previous version after updating with OTA.

im using at&t radio cwm flashable on a custom at&t 2.3.4 rom now with ram-fix kernel on my asia retail model (international). works fine so far. or if you don't want at&t radio you can try bell's latest radio as well. both works fine for at&t rom. for me at least.

I have an international and find that custom roms are hard to find as most are for AT&T.

i tried Alien by kp and nCrust both works.. for radio as long as you use AT&T rom, you need to flash att or bell radio in order to work properly.. att radio.
and flash this unified international o/c kernel with ram-fix all CWM friendly. works perfect with my asian atrix.

its an automatic update just hit update on your settings. and korean is MB861 but works the same as the MB860. and you dont need to be in korea... i have a KT korea carrier, and i got my update while in philippines on vacation just need a wifi connection

can anyone help me i have atrix 4g korea stock working fine on my sim ( smart philippines ) after rooting all is good even droid vpn works fine after successfully unlocking the phone all is woking but i installed aurora rom after the phone starts the sim wont get detected even imei was lost can anyone give a hand ?

I've tried a search to see if anyone has had any success flashing CM10 onto a UK T-Mobile I9300 and can only find one guy who had issues with radio on it a few months back. Is the fact my phone is locked to T-Mobile going to cause me issues? Has anyone else flashed a UK T-Mobile I9300 successfully?

I haven't flashed CM10 exactly, but I've been using a different ROM on my T-mobile phone without any problems.

as my titile says.. i wrong flashed my motorola xt909 from japan to xt910 EU version..
so i give u a little history why that just happen..
well i bought this phone second hand, the owner says its xt912 so having no idea i thought it was..(coz the back has no letters or something that recognized the difference only few code? not exactly the xt909 or something) but with a little search about the comparison of the two.. the international and verizon, (i dont have an idea there are few version) i comes to my mind that it's a xt910 becoz the logo is color silver not black w/c is from verizon. so that the problem starts, anw i got it ics version only. so because of eagerly wanted to upgrade it is and having in my mind it is international version xt910.. i flashed xt910 EU version. its succed but the problem starts.. the phone is always bootlooped but sometimes is booted lets say 80% bootloop and 20% booted when i restart the phone. i confused of that..:/ so it means theres a problem.. then i started figure out the rom i flashed has something wrong. then i try to search some code in the back which is clearly reads. then it is xt909 from japan.. so i searched again how to flashed to official JP rom.. but always fails.. i already deleted the CiD in order to flashed other stock roms .. but only the EU version always being flash ..
other says.. using cmda rom can booted to xt909 because they are the same band..its actually booted but the rom or any cdma rom is super slow i mean slow.. almost slow motion.. in xt910 rom if im lucked if booted the problem is no data connection.. which i really need it the most.. so guys.. any help?? this phone had it my drawer for many months.. coz i cant able to use it really..
anw.. why i cant go back to the JP bcoz the EU is the highest security .. something which is 7? the jp is 5 so imposible to be back?..

About security,it has nothing to do with the country,it's because of the android version,security 5 is ICS,security 7 is JB,so you can't go back to ICS.
