Hi guys,
Apparently I'm not allowed to post in the dev forum, so I figured I would ask here. I had to get rid of the JB lockscreen because I just couldn't use it with having to unlock first and then answer the call. I have the Sense lockscreen now, but it doesn't have any of the apps, which I made sure was enabled under Personalize. The other issue I have is that the notification bar is transparent on the lockscreen, but black on the home screen. Not really a big deal, just more cosmetic. Other than that, nijitsu has done a wonderful job with this rom and I can't wait to see what future releases bring.
Thanks,
Steve
Are you using the sense launcher or nova/apex? You need to put your apps in the sense dock to show on the lockscreen.
As far a notification transparency, that's how it's built.
I assume you have it de- sensed? Only the sense Rosie launcher will support the transparent status bar.
Also that it's your problem with the lock screen shortcuts.. it pulls them from your Rosie launcher bar

Ah, I feel like such an idiot now, lol. I installed the Rosie, but I never opened it. After I took Nova off default and went into regular Sense, the lockscreen icons show up now. As far as the transparency, I think I will wait for that UKB specific mod to get updated to 1.21 and give that a try. I used another mod and it messed with using the power button to reboot (phone automatically reboots with no options).
Thanks for the quick replies guys!
widget locker solves this problem
Using in desensed with widget locker and this makes it possable to answer phone with out unlocking first, phone rings and will display the call screen.:good:

Ok ive tried it all Go launcher ex, launcher, pro ect but they only seem to be able get rid of the status bar in the homescreen and not the lock screen.
So my question is are there any apps for ics that would get rid of the status bar on the lockscreen ?
No, probably not. You can try installing an alternative lock screen that gives you the option of doing this, however.

try using widgetlocker. its a custom lockscreen app and that hides the notification bar from lockscreen ..
i hoped it helped and if it did just hit thanks.

Love the way you can get rid of status bar and also add widgets almost like having another home screen of its own
Is there a way to change the shortcuts on the HTC lockscreen. I have looked but cannot seem to find a way
Yes, the lockscreen shortcuts can be changed. The lockscreen shortcuts are the same icons that are in the HTC Sense dock. Change the icons in the Sense dock, then the icons on the lock screen will change.
Matt

Thanks Matt. That's rather annoying... only four total? Would be nice to be able to put a few more on that screen...
possible to do this without sense launcher?
So I flashed the UKB rom and I only have nova launcher, I'm assuming the config for the shorts cuts is sitting in some file somewhere? Can I still change my launch screen shortcuts without the sense launcher or do I have to reflash the rom? Sorry if the answer is posted somewhere, I searched around and didn't find anything for this particular situation.
I remember using this with my inc 2 .

Sounds like that might work I'll give it a try tonight and see. Thanks!
No dice, there's gotta be a configuration somewhere. I'll keep digging, if someone else comes up with another idea let me know, thanks!

I useapex launcher. I imagine its similar to nova. go to your advanced settings in launcher. and switch to sense as default launcher. change icons, switch back to your launcher.
Ya I tried that but I only have nova launcher as an option, thanks though!
i see. you must have removed sense through aroma.
dirty flash the rom, and don't de-sense.
then you can change your shortcut icons in sense and switch back to your 3rd party launcher.
Ya that's the process I was saving for a last resort, thanks!

You nailed It lol
-I Dial It-
still unable to change lock screen shortcuts
So I just clean flashed ukb 1.1, this time I left Rosie installed. I've tried changing my shortcuts in the dock multiple times and it still has no effect on the lock screen short cuts.
Are you changing them on Rosie or on Nova?
I'm changing them on Rosie
Did the HOX+ always have a transparent status bar on the homescreen or was this added by the latest update?
mine was always translucent.
I honestly can't remember if I had it before the update or not, but the reason it's sticking out to me now is because of the 1 second delay it takes for it to switch from solid to transparent when going back to the home screen.
Oh well. I like it transparent, just don't like the delay.
Yes and only when using stock sense launcher, not with others.

New Xposed Mod: Custom Status Bar Opacity
This tiny mod makes the opacity of the status bar (when it is transparent in lock screen or launcher) easily configurable from the mod's UI without reboot. Notice that it will not change anything if the status bar is not transparent at all (e.g. in apps).
=> This helped me getting white status bar icons better readable on bright launcher backgrounds but as well lets you make the status bar permanently solid or fully transparent.
Limitations
Works only on HTC stock-based ROMs version 4.0.3 and higher using Sense launcher (simply does nothing on other devices)
You MUST accept that you use any modification at your own risk
If you want to try it, follow these steps:
If not done yet or included in your custom ROM, install the Xposed framework as described in this thread (requires root)
Install the attached APK and activate the module in the Xposed installer (this is also described in the framework thread)
Reboot
ChangeLog
Code:
[B]1.0[/B]
- Initial release
Hope you enjoy and let me know. Great thanks go to @rovo89 for this fabulous framework.

It works indeed on stock sense launcher, but it doesn't do anything in adw launcher.
Is there any way to get it working with this launcher too?
Many thanks

I'm afraid not with version 1.0 or a quick solution based on it. I'm currently working on bringing this to Samsung's TouchWiz with a more generic approach, which makes it very likely to be working in ADW launcher as well. But this may take a while, so please stay tuned.
By any chance making this mod for Galaxy note 2?

Transparency on TouchWiz status bar works differently. This is HTC specific, since it covers the Sense-specific switch between transparency in launcher and no transparency in apps. Certainly, it could be done for TouchWiz with not that big effort, but has low prio for me currently. However, I have a device running TouchWiz, so make myself a note to look into it sometime.
Works great ! thank you !

Sweet! Looking forward to it!
If you add some kind of option for a solid black status bar this would literally be the perfect mod.

Did you try to tap the mod in Xposed installer, which opens the mod preferences, and to slide the opacity slider completely to the left (0%). This will make your status bar solid black.

It only makes it solid black on the home screen and in the launcher, it reverts back to the gradient in apps.
It is working great and looks nice.
Thanks for your great mods

Great mod works perfectly... Would you be able to create one that disables the messaging app from notifying on delivery reports??? I want to have delivery reports on but the notification on the status bar gets so annoying!!
Not work on ARHD 10.2 with Dark Theme

I hope I can get some help on this. I have been working on it for a while and can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the bar at the bottom of the screen while using a transparent Nav Bar. I have been messing around with the SystemUI.apk, but I feel like it's more likely the GoogleHome launcher (which seems to just put some tweaks onto the stock launcher) or even the Launcher2.apk that is formatting the wallpaper like this. I am just staring to mess with coding, so I'm not sure where the formatting is happening. Any advanced themers/coders willing to give me some advice?
P.S. I REALLY want to use the Google Home launcher and not just switch to a third party launcher like Nova. Nova launcher does get the wallpaper full screen with transparent nav bar, but it does not have the features that the Google Home launcher has.
Thanks in advance!!

Android version of your phone and if it is rooted???
