Hi. Im trying to play dungeon hunter 2 hd and the game keeps crashing about a video that cant be played @ startup.
I was trying to buy it from the gameloft shop but i cant because as it says my device is not supported by this game ..
Weird because i remember i was able to play it smooth before the ics update on my Xperia sola
is there any way to play it ? i want to play so bad but i cant find any way to fix the problem and im searching two days at google and xda forums but no luck , nothing works!

try chainfire 3d and reduce graphics
ICS uses a lot of memory on our phones. So games lag

yes i did play it on gb ..
i tried everything with chainfire 3d but nothing worked because the error is about a video cant be played at startup and the game crashes. it doesnt even start.
how can it be because of that when im able to play dungeon hunter 3 and nova 3 lag free

Man this game is years old. I dont even think its compatible with ics at all. Play dungeon hunter 3^^

It has been confirm that Dungeon Hunter 2 will not work and never work on ICS. Just downgrade to GB to play it.

I recently downloaded some gameloft games which when I wanted to install them,it restarted my optimus one. For ex Order & Chaos etc
So I flashed it with CM7. Still don't the same thing.
Can this be fixed somehow by editing the build.prop file or doing any other modifications?

Our phone does not yet support these games because of the CPU (arm v6) so do not expect to run most recent games yet. Maybe after some months or decades o1 will support them lol.

Not true. Well officially it doesn't support those,but there is a russian Optimus One blog where the russians have modified a bunch of gameloft games to work on Optimus one. Here are a few examples which are fixed:
Asphalt 5
NOVA
Eternal Legacy
Modern Combat Sandstorm
Assassins Creed
HAWX
Gangster
Hero Of Sparta
and one of my fav games too: Guerilla Bob
I suppose there is some code in the installer apk file which isn't compatible with the system,that's why we get restarting,but those russians can fix this so there is some way around this.

You can try chainfire 3d app.
It isn't problem with the graphics. The games would run on Optimus One with reduced graphics with Chainfire.
The problem is that I can't even install the games.
When I try to install,it reboots my phone...
I know there is a way to fix this because those russian developers have already fixed some of those games so it IS possible.
Does any1 have the same prob?

Already fixed this restarting issue. Flashed the latest CM7 and now there is no more restarting,I can install whatever I want.

ok.. here are the reasons why your phone reboots while installing those games.. .
the GAME you DOWNLOADED was not an ARMV6 compatible games.. .
but.. but.. but .. .
there's a lot of GAMELOFT GAMES now that was MODIFIED to RUN on ARMV6 Devices.. . and played a lot of em' like .. .
NOVA • GUERILLA BOB • ASPHALT 5 • i also have STUPID ZOMBIES • DEAD SPACE • ETERNAL LEGACY • BOTHERS IN ARMS • and other GAMES which is not really made for ARMV6 DEVICES.. .
here's a tip.. .
trynna look for an ARMV6 installer/apk.. .Google it.. just type "Order & Chaos for ARMV6"

JasataPein is right, the apk u dwnlded isnt compatible. just try dwnlding another APK..

A simple search in google play and you would have got all this info yourself...You can search google play for more supported games. And if you are signed in then it is mentioned if the game is supported on your device or not. Hope this helps. Do search for non gameloft HD games as well..

I tested Asphalt 6 on my Xperia U( KA03 XperiaSSpeed)...The game is getting real stuck...it gets force closed...I don't know whether it is the problem of my sd card data, The app said it is not compatible, so i changed the model number to Galaxy S2, and installed SD card files of Xperia Play ....May be that might be my problem.. those who are gaming Aspalt 6 please share how they installed it..!!
shadowgun works, dead trigger works, nba jam works, minecraft works, gta 3 works, mass effect DOESN'T work. at least for me.

You had to do that with the first version I think, now it should just be able to play. But, it won't. You'll just crash at the Activsion logo and return to the launcher. Same when using cf3d with qualcomm plugin (at least for me).
By looking at the reviews even xplay owners are having the same issue, our best bet is to wait for a patch.

So I have tried many games on my P , the small ones work like a charm but the big ones (Almost every ea and gameloft games) don't work :crying::crying:
I have tried different versions from the market and other sites with no luck :crying:
I don't have any app that could affects the games , I also tried to do factory reset with no change
I know it is not hardware issue , it software issue , but I just don't know what to do :crying:

since our ace has some problems and issues with our broadcom videocore gpu, we can't play most 3d games on our phone...
you can play those games by installing chainfire 3d on your phone...!!

i have rooted phone and using mindcr 2.9 rom...
o already have chainfire 3d pro plus the lug ins ... my problem is i download the game but wont install ive downloaded a couple just to get a no install... it looks like its installing buen the after it finishes i get no install....
i have all 3 plug ind and i know how to use them .. narcoguerra its not a 3d game as far as i know is like a strategy game it shows the map in 2d i think i havent seen the video....
i just downloadeed a game called horse race simulator and same thing other game is weaphons 1.1 ... same wont install.
her it is i think it should be able to run i dont see as a heavily 3d games mostly a 2d game
