Does anybody know of a way to export a s note idea sketch with an embedded video to a format that any smart phone could open? Stock export only wants to let me export to a format that won't let the video play on the other end.

The video app that is packaged with CM7 doesn't display the videos saved on my SD card. I also tried iMediaShare and I had the same problem. Is there an option or an app that will do a scan of the SD card for videos?

MX Video Player works the best for me.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the input.
Edit: It works fine to find my videos but still doesn't help with getting them to show in other apps.

Maybe they're on a not supported and weird format?
Yeah I was Googling a bit and saw something about native formats. Looks like I have to convert my videos if I want to use them.

I play a lot of Xbox and watch a lot of YouTube. How do people record what they're doing on the TV and is there an app for this for phones? Basically what i want to do is record a game that im playing on my TV (Xbox 360) and get it on my phone to show a buddy.

I found out that I'd need to buy and install some sort of capture card in my PC to do this but is there anyway to connect my phone directly to my TV and capture what I'm watching on my TV? Maybe this should be moved to the regular question section.

Depends on the game but call of duty mw3 has a built in recorder and saves the entire game for playback then if you like a segment you can upload from the game for sharing. Hope that helps.

A phone cannot capture a televisions video input. You need the capture card and then move the captured video to your phone.

I want to re-encode (to a lower bitrate) MP3 podcasts that I subscribe to on my phone. Does anyone know of an app that would allow this? I found this but, I'm a n00b and was hoping for something easier...http://code.google.com/p/freemp3fordroid/

Don't know if I'm missing something here but I can't seem to save video to scrapbooker using my s pen. When I try an do it I draw the circle and it just saves the image not the video. Anyone else having this problem or am I just doing something wrong!

Yeah I had that issue. I read it's due to the recent update to YouTube. But the alternate route to take is hitting the share button of the YouTube video and share it to your scrapbook that way.
