that is very simple to port. i will try it. and if i cant get it ill ask sport. (im an aosp newb still lol)
I like that lock screen. If time permits tomorrow I will look at the files and see if I can do anything.

the Note 2 lockscreen with its ink effect would be a cool port if possible as well
Maybe someone with an android build could apply the patch from here and post up the new framework files for everyone in the Amaze family to use. I do not have a machine available with linux installed to give the patch a try.
For the lockscreen to function the framework-res.apk & framework.jar have to be patched for the intended device.
If by the weekend this is still open I will install linux on this mini I'm currently using & give it a go.

i know you guys are... i have a port up and running, i just get com.android.phone forcecloses and i havent really taken the time to mess with them yet. i believe its just the framework.jar and the framework2.jar

of course i didnt drop it.. i just got my machine re-setup. and since sun-java6 jdk isnt natually in the ubuntu repositories anymore i had to hunt down the correct jdk bin files and get that setup.
im working on it k
EDIT: that and i have to get a full build of cm10 before i do the patch to the framework. but when its done i will make a thread in the dev section for it

I know a few tricks to get the com.android.phone to stop if you wanna share with me i could give it a go. I have a port that data borked but everything else works great.

Yeah haha sorry for the confusion..
The camera and Bluetooth audio are screwed but since I didn't use them I created EnergyExpressoXDA, its a couple pages back. Tazz& Tenzo deserve most of the credit I just added my preferred tweak and espresso look and shared it.
I doubt those issues will be resolved by us. Those 2 have their hands full, now there is GB and I'm using an incredible for daily use although I haven't left the community so if it gets done I'll happily redo the user experience mods.

It's worth a shot, but in my experience the camera will most likely never work. Froyolicious was a myTouch 2.2 port, so you can look at that thread and get an idea of how to start. Maybe someone other than me can figure it out.

I tried porting it but i kept getting some update script errors. personally i wouldnt care if the camera worked or not, but it doesnt appear that i know how to even port it

Nah guys its some symlink su error. I would tell you the exact error but my eris broke and i had to order a new one :/
I loved ZenEXP-Eris but couldn't live with it's shortcomings. I would love an android 2.2 rom with htc espresso that just works. Looks like I'll have to make it myself. Any advice is appreciated. Like where to start. I need a kitchen?

So I think we're all looking forward to getting CRT Animation on the SGT10.1, and it seems Vertumus has figured it out for his theme on the P-7500, but how can we get this "stand-alone" for ANY model? Here's the question raised on that thread, and the answer wasn't really clear:

i got it working on my roms. But never released because it seems to only work part of the time. And im not going to deal with the million questions and posts about it. It something that ive continued to try and work out but havent been successful at yet.

is there any way we can get google wallet on our amaze? from what ive read around simply installing the apk does not work :\

Now that we have root I wonder if any of the devs well cook it in their roms. Google wallet was only suppose to go to sprints nexus s but they managed to make it work for the tmo version.
Well if someone would stop messing around with Sense and build an ASOP we'd have it but the "devs" are working on Sense Roms for some reason...

Not quite sure what half what you said is but yes. I'm on his now and actually like it because he kept the Sense camera and all. Except should bring the library over for Google Wallet to work since it wouldn't need the framework unless thats how it communicates with the NFC...

Thought I should share something with you all.
Here's my attempt of porting Sense 3.5 from Pico. I used Pico Hero rom from HeroGSM as a reference for porting... This is a basic port, as I really don't have time due to numerous exams and a uncooperative slide (the trackpad now refuses to work at all :|).
Without further ado, here's a list of what (doesn't) work:
What WORKS:

SMS
MMS?
What DOESN'T WORK (plenty):
wifi
tether
call
bluetooth
USB storage
camera
very laggy.
If there's anything else, tell me.
Honestly, I didn't want to release this half-working rom, but many of you want to see a booting version of Sense 3.5 and stuff... some of you even PM'd me and/or called me selfish for hogging a bootable version. Really? Selfish? I just didn't want to release a non-daily driver... that was slightly... disappointing.
Anyways. Tell me how this goes, and if anyone has suggestions on how to improve this rom, PM/post on this thread. This rom needs ALOT of work.

found out why it didnt boot... my cache space was filling up way to fast... so i lowered my system space to 175 and increased cache to 120

Try it out. I overclocked daniels release and it ran pretty smooth. Apart from the major bug of no audio during calls I would have kept it as my daily.

Finally got around to flashing the 2x and it's perfect! I was a little put off thinking it was going to be oversized but it's just right on this phone. Going to try it out on my Tbolt when I get home (also CM9) and i'll post results =)

once apktool updates to 4.2 i will be able to correctly modify the new one.
Synister, I think you fixed what was in my opinion one of the only functional inconveniences in AOSP on the rezound, especially for those of us who could care less about Bluetooth.
Thank you for taking the time to do it and sharing it with the community, the AOSP roms have a better end user experience because of it.
