Hi folks
i have an i9300 international version, no contract, and it just bricked overnight
it was rooted and with cmw flashed... i'm not sure, but maybe overnight it has received the 4.1.2 update and didn't boot since.
I've tried flashing a stock rom with odin3 v3.04 and i got this:

They might annoy you because of that a little bit, don't give up just annoy them and stick there all day till they accept it.
They mostly won't notice.
see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1993044
so we're sure that I can't fix my SIII from my computer, and should take it to samsung?
Its a question = Q&A
Instead of messing with sammobile firmware flash stock from XDA or use CHECKFUS to download .

Hi guys!

Thanks in advance!
Try another version of odin, different lead, port or pc. Ensure kies is not running. Follow the guide on flashing to the letter.
Download the rom from sammobile and check the md5.

I had a similar issue a while ago but it turned out to be an issue with the Kernel not being compatable with the Rom I flashed. I thought I had bricked it, until I flashed a stock kernal first then the stock ROM and it fixed it for me and it really does sound like you have the same issue, As for the rom not flashing its most likely a bad download try sammobile! let me know if it was the kernal!

boomboomer, Thanks for the reply. I have checked it all, now I'm getting the above error.
If you've tried all the connection issues then it appears your recovery positron is corrupt and can't be written. A rescue firmware, including pit might help but otherwise you'll need a new motherboard.
Search in general forum for the rescue firmware thread, follow the instructions.

The ATT variants have the bootloader locked and do not support downgrading. If you grab the newer firmware, you'll be fine.

Has to be the same version or newer. If it's failing on the aboot, that means you're attempting to downgrade.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to do that? I cannot access the phone at all, I can only go into download mode
hey guys I'm need of some assistance, i tried to root my samsung A21s using odin after operation was done and exited download mode my phone keeps looping at bootloader and displaying with red on the left top corner 'fingerprint protection failed'.
i tried installing firmware but no change so far Please anyone who can Help?
hey guys,
I kind of got the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy A40.
It started last summer but was a little different back then.
As I restarted my phone my phone got stuck into a bootloop and on the top left there was written in red letters: could not do normal boot.
Until this day I kept researching what actually was the problem and how to fix it.
My solution turned out to be flashing the stock firmware on my device again.
But after some tries my frp lock turned "off" and I wasn´t longer in download mode, more like a cyan background and some data on the top left.
Odin showed me this text:

hey guys,
I kind of got the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy A40.
