[MOD]JB Style Statusbar for CM7 - Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps

Hey Guys.....!!!
I am here presenting you all the JB style statusbar MOD for CM7.2 ROM(Alpha 8.3).
The name says it all and rest would be by the Screenshot.....so i don't have to write anything more.

Downloads :
CLICK HERE to Download this MOD
Steps To Follow :
Make a Nandroid Backup before doing anything
Download the file from above
Put the zip in your SDcard
Reboot to CWM recovery
Select the Zip and flash it
Fix Permission and enjoy
Note(for Custom Rom makers) : Don't Forget to give proper credits if you are using this in your ROM.

I doubt. Samsung Touchwiz framework is what the froyo roms are based on. It's hard to mod that. But it would be great if raja proved me wrong. :good:

I managed to get this on froyo(of course the theme combination is ugly as i was concentrating on the mod only ):
But getting the settings shortcut to work involves .smali coding which i'm not much familiar with and don't have much time to learn that now
And more over, there are no guides for doing it on froyo. There are guides to achieve this on cm7 and cm9

i run into bootloop whenever i format, after installing this zip

If someone wants to taste this on froyo, this is for them(Works in odexed rom only):
I have taken the framework-res.apk of arruun's ics theme for froyo and twframework from twinky's theme and edited it to look like this:
There might be wrong colours at wrong places as the framework and twframework are from different themes. Always take the proper backups of the files. Flash the attached zip. Fix permissions and then reboot.
Tested to be working on kyrillos 9.7.1 and works only on odexed rom!!!
Known drawbacks:
1)No carrier name in the bottom when the status bar is expanded(I'm ok with it). Help me if you can fix it! Putting the carrier in status_bar_tracking.xml isn't working.
2)No settings shortcut beside jb clock. Help me if you can fix it.
Any suggestions.. Welcome.
I'm still working on the jb theme. Since i'm a Rookie in theming, it's taking a little more time than usual
Flash it at your own risk. See that there's atleast 10 mb free space in /system. Delete some system apps and swype if you don't use it. swype alone takes 10mb in Kyrillos rom

Friend first edit your post and remove the quote. That .zip was for a deodexed rom. For odexed rom flash the attached file.
@OP, You can link my post in the first post for odexed version.

sorry for quoting, there is post with version for froyo and I was showing which version I tryed...
okay, now flashed odexed version and still nothing changed, can I do it manually by putting system.ui and framework.res apks into their places?

It works. Just now downloaded and installed the JB_Statusbar_CM7_4_odexed.zip(which i provided in my previous post) on my phone(freshly installed cm7 8.3 odexed) as well as my friend's phone. It worked.
