can anyone explain the extensive location settings from google maps ... i searched google's help and i'm still confused.
for eg, what is the difference between "report from this device" and "enable location history"?
i guess they generate the trafic info using the data from our phones ... how?

Is it possible to click a google calendar link (ical), and have android automatically add it to be periodically synced?
I've searched high and low for this, but everything I find says this can't be done withouth complex paid apps.

Possible user error here, but I noticed that searching for a contact from the within the Maps app does not appear to return any results. Also, if I search for a business, Maps does not sort the results according to what is closest...they're just kind of all over the place.
Full disclosure, I recently switched back to Android after using an iPhone for maybe two years, so I'm not entirely sure if this is just how the UI is or if I'm being a bonehead.
Any help is appreciated.

Well, I found the answer to question one is that I'm using a Google Apps account, so contact search isn't support within Maps yet.

there was a time (whe i had s510e) that i could search stored music in Google now bun don't know why now on g357fz is not possible! sad. im also searching for a solution.
