Hello,
standard Android instalation has 2 providers - Google and XChange. So question is:
is there any offline calendar provider out?
My idea is that it would store calendar data in the db without any need to go online or sync with Google or Microsoft server and I would be able to use common calendar applications. Is it possible ever or am I odd?
Hi
If you are odd then I am odd too. I know this is an old thread. But if you have continued to be an Android patron and have the latest Android OS then there is a solution for you here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871053
I can confirm that it works on an emulator.

It's an simple app that creates local calendar. I've tested it with 4.2.2 and it works fine.
Hi everybody, I'm looking for a Gps tracking app that can also activate gps remotely.
I've searched a lot but i've still found nothing. Does anyone knows if a similar app exists??
Thanks!!
Locus would be my choice...
Android Lost can activate and track GPS through SMS or through their website.

hi guys!
can anyone explain the extensive location settings from google maps ... i searched google's help and i'm still confused.
for eg, what is the difference between "report from this device" and "enable location history"?
i guess they generate the trafic info using the data from our phones ... how?
thanx!
Happy Holidays! and Happy New Year!
Hi everyone.
With Google Latitude retiring in a few weeks, does anyone know of a good alternate?
I have tried Find my Friends, but it's not that user friendly (from what I have seen) and Life360 is useless for me in Australia.
So does anyone know of an alternate??
Cheers
