To be honest, it's been some time since I've been here, back when I knew how everything on this forum worked...
I kinda forgot, so I'm just posting this HELPME!? thread
This is my problem:
About 1.5 years ago I downloaded a ROM, and put it on my phone, and it was working just fine. However, 3 weeks ago it became really annoying, i'll explain what my problem was:
My phone would randomly freeze when i was doing things, these things could vary from "sending a text message" to "opening my 4th opera tab".
After that it wouldn't respond unless I reset it. However, when starting up again after resetting it would do a few possible things.
1. It's freeze at the first startup screen.
2. It's keep switching between unlock and "pin-screen", and when it was working again, it'd freeze.
3. It'd start up, and after about 5 seconds buzz like 5 times, then freeze.
When i left it on frozen the battery and phone would turn very hot as well =(
So, I tried a hard reset, but that didn't work.
After that i went to the following thread:

I followed the instructions, installed the right Radio (2.12.50), and installed the ROM ( Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.NLD.Cookie.2.0.Jul.07.7z ).
I remembered how to intall these things, so I think i've done that right.
So, after that it seemed to be working fine, and I was really proud and happy.
Now my phone has frozen again, and starting up was an issue again...
Does anyone know what my problem is? And what would be even better, what i can do to solve it?

Little Update:
So, I've been carrying my HTC HD2 around with me again, and then it started again...
It froze when I tried to send a text, and after that would freeze or vibrate (a few times) during the start-up...
It's really anoying =( If I'd have to estimate my phone's uptime a day...
It used to be 24h a day, now it's more like... 4 hours a day, with 2/3 hours of trying to get it working :Z
That could be hardware related. Possibly processor overheating. I would download the latest stock rom and fash it to see if it sorts the problem. If not it will need to be sent of to HTC to be replaced.

I got so excited today to get the new ICS update. But as soon as it was done, I got this weird looping restart. I have no idea what is causing it. I tried to update and I tried the emergency update like it's mentioned in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1731654
Can anyone help me? What am I doing wrong?
To make things worse, now I can't even connect to Kies!

I'm having the exact same issue on my non-rooted Note with the official AT&T update. Spent hours Googling this and can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Guess it's back to the iPhone 4s for a while.
Perhaps a factory reset will help you guys out? :/ Sorry I can not assist further.

So, like many a noob before me, excitedly learning about the world of rooting and having no Idea what they were doing, I broke my phone.
At first I thought my phone was bricked (boot looped) and I was trying to teach myself ADB to fix it. But I've realized if I leave it on for 45 or so minutes it'll actually start up. Now, as annoying as that is, I can work around it (don't turn off the phone unless I'm not gonna need it for awhile) and my main problem is that it's stuck in Airplane mode. I can "switch it on or off" but it always stays on.
Any Ideas as to might be causing this?
Factory Data Reset doesn't do anything.

Hello there. 3 days ago i bought used Galaxy S2. Everything was good untill now. Ive got an sms message and i wanted to check it soni unlocked my screen and suddenly my screen went crazy. It starts to "touch himself"(that sounds bad) and i couldn't do anything. Only locking and unlocking the screen was a solution. Now it happens even more often. I reinstalled android already, wiped data and cache and still nothing. Probably the solution is to change digitalizer or something but i just want to know: What is causing this issue? Hi there! Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this - I am currently having some issues with a phone that isn't listed in your database.
The model is a "Sonim A8" I believe, it is branded as Land Rover.
A friend of mine suggested that I might be able to get some help with the problem on this forum, so I thought it might be worth asking!
My GPS chip (originally functional) has suddenly started getting stuck in to a loop of searching for GPS servers. I have tried a factory reset, which did nothing.
Any ideas on how I might go about fixing this, or even if it is a problem that can be fixed?
