PREPARATION:
BACKUP "DefaultThemes.apk":
Use Root Explorer(or any similar app) and go to folder /system/app
Copy DefaultThemes.apk
Paste it anywhere you want in your SD card.
Your old themes are safe now, lets change it !

INSTALATION & Downloads:
There is 2 ways to install "DefaultThemes"
1. CWM ZIP file

Boot on CWM and install zip.Reboot.Ready.
Go to Settings-Display-Theme.Enjoy.
2. Manually replace system apk file
Download apk file in your SD card. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xwih5k7mk73aufb/DefaultThemes.apk ONLY 3,3MB !
Open Root Explorer (or any similar app).
Find the file and select to MOVE it.
Go to /system/app and paste it.
Confirm the replace of the original file.
Change permissions of the file to rw /r /r
Reboot phone.
Go to Settings-Display-Theme.Enjoy.

My first attempt to create custom themes for our NeoV and my first thread on XDA community. :laugh: Hopefully not the last
The inspiration and decision came from all of you who give us so many beautiful Roms and keep our phone always updated.

well it is based on .587 so propably it will work...take backup and try.

THIS Roma are curious ... is mixing ics-jb-aosp.
But since I'm new to forum ... can not send reply to developer

The Icons my friend are not changed with the defaultthemes.apk so its not included.
I changed them on my own with apex launcher and its from my personal collection from various sources.
If you want tell me what you liked exactly and i ll give it to you

Oho....is it so?? after this post, i decompiled the defaultthemes.apk to search for the icon set.but it was not there...i think they must be included in framework-res.apk im using the Xperia Solar Launcher(by replacing the original home.apk) as secondary launchers slow down the phone.
Yeah!!! I love these icons......can you please be kind to give them to me? Now i want them very badly :-/

IMPORTANT THING TO DO AFTER FIRST BOOT IN MANGOX8(Do It by Step)
*The Rom will slow a bit at first start up and It will become fast & smooth after that.So be patient while do all these step
1.Activate Perfect Task Switcher as default & Home Key as key shortcut(wait a little bit until some icon at status bar appear before apply it)
2.Activate Laucher7 as default laucher(wait about 15 seconds before Create Tiles)
3.Enable back Home button functions by Spare Parts>End Button Behavior>Go to Home
4.Maximized Launcher7 performance by go to Settings>CM Settings>Performance>Check Lock home in memory And head back to Launcher7>menu>enable caching.But remember to update cache everytime u install a new apps or ur apps wont shown on drawer
5.Activate WP7 Notification & make sure to do it after enable back Home button function(Step #3)or u will stuck in the apps.

1.Its Recommence upgrades to latest Launcher7(link above #1)
2.Go HERE,download & ectract the pack in one folder>copy to ur SD
2.In launcer7 Drawer, pick any apps that u want have tiles in homescreen by long pressed at apps icon>pin to homescreen
3.customised options will appear,
-set Tiles size>2x1 tiles(horizontal)

themed,tweaked roms i guess arnt a issue in normal development section

What is Xperia NXT Theme system ?
Well do you remember when Xperia 2012 NXT phones got released you were amazed by all the colorful text,images that changes color per selected theme and then you were so envy about it yeah now that is available for the almost forgotten 2011 xperia lineup
So how to use this new theme system ?

Let's see,still a reboot is must required since we change uxp framework whenever we wanna use a new theme
so I don't see a point in doing that mate

There are files inside the rar file called .apk?
Install that file with root explorer and pkace it to system/app with right permissions

I mean it says 'Mod: PrimeHD' and Build-Number: '9.0' but I edited it in the build.prop in the flashable zip.

uhm... I dont know, it works for me fine on stock kernel.
Acutally, I haven't got AnTuTu Benchmark on my phone and I'm too lazy to download it.
Exactly this rom all the functions which in my rom "Blur CM7" but we'll see how, in practice, to see you sleep If there are or are not in conformity sure you call the moderators.

all i can say is most cm7 roms are same in general soo it's up to the user to decide which fits his or her needs

In my opinion, BlurCM7 is very laggy.
Thanks for sharing and your hard work? v.1.2 and v.1.3 in your upload folder the file name is diffirent, but after download it , they have the same size and the same name, please check and fix it. Thanks

THE DROPBOX FOLDER
Folder 1: These are flashable zips that work on all ROMS(even noobs). **MUST TRY**
Folder 2: Tweaks(Only for experienced developers/users. Include these in your ROM in appropriate loacation)
Folder 3: Xbin tweaks.
Folder 4: Awesome framework animations Developers and peeps: Download the relevant zip, Extract all files of /anim/ and put it in your framework-res.apk/res/anim/. Careful!
DETAILED METHOD: Take the framework animation that u want. Copy all the .xml files located in the zip inside the folders.
Now on youe current framework.apk app go do the following using winrar
go to res
go to anim folder.
Now take a fram anim zip, any one u like and extract it. There will be many files like bla bla bla.xml
Copy all these files and paste them into ur framework/res/anim. Click yes if prompted to replace.
Move the framework inside the demo zip and flash
Done.
Hit thanks else they wont show up.
And yes do enable animations in settings/display.

There is a flashable zip which makes the lock screen look like the xperia one. You have to change the lock screen style to sliding tab (also make the background a custom image otherwise it will look a bit unaligned.)
The last one is also a flashable zip which adds Sony Ericsson themes and some other extras. I will attach them as soon as possible.

This post is good as people can see all the different mods/tweaks for our phone, however it is a bit mixed up. In my opinion I would split it into sections. For example the first post is for all roms , second post is for cm9, third post is for cm7 and the fourth post is for sense roms. This would make it easier to find the right rom. I got quite a few mods that I will share when I get home and is able to upload them.

You need a root browser for eg. Root browser.
You copy the apk file into system/app and long press on it. There is an option of permission. It has to be changed to rw r r. Or simply check any other app in the folder and make it like that.
If u want u can delete the default lockscreen app that is present. I recommend a backup of the app to SD.
Reboot and enjoy.

Yes u can put them anywhere u like. Just make sure they arent repeated anywhere in the build.prop.
Bravia gives crisper pictures. I think it works with the script xloud+bravia. Its in the dropbpx/00flash folder.
Only for non sense roms.

First of all sorry to everyone for using your work without asking permission! The last time I had read the forum rules was about two years ago, so I'd completely forgotten what they said (although common sense should have made me ask first!)
Secondly, a very big thank you to both x10forevers and Vasishta Reddy (and all of the others listed in the first post) for allowing me to use their work despite me initially posting without their permission! Hi, the Sony app's are now included in the "2. XS_Rom_Theme_0.02.zip" file and should be installed while flashing it.
I can create a separate flashable file if you need it?

what i have flashed is just v0.02
obviously the theme pack for 0.02 is bigger than 0.01's
since the sonyapps is included in 0.02's theme pack, i sitll need to flash the "Sony Apps Flashable" you posted just now ?
