Battery Usage details in Jelly Bean - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So I have the "Bookmark Widget" disabled, force closed and all but it still shows up in battery usage, sometimes as pretty high number in terms of battery usage percentage. Anyone know what can be causing this?

Maybe freeze it in titanium backup

If you don't use it ill suggest uninstalling it... That work for me
HTC EVO LTE

Yup freeze or uninstall. Its just the widget for bookmarks. It won't effect your system in anyway if it is froze or uninstalled

My phone is not rooted and I don't think I can uninstall the Bookmark Widget.

Clear the data on the app in settings/app manger. Then remove the bookmark widget from your home screen If you haven't already. It should not reopen unless you open it. Henceforth it should not appear to use any battery afterwards. "Hopefully" lol

removing apps from app list without uninstalling them?

I've got a few paid apps that have a second 'key' app that can't be hidden with a setting in the app (setDNS Pro, CamScanner Pro, 1 or 2 others). I don't like seeing what is essentially two entries for the same app in my list, so I was wondering if anyone knows a way to remove the 'key' app from the list without uninstalling it, so I don't have to see it in my list but while allowing the apps they belong to to recognise that the paid version is installed.
On a Droid Bionic with Liberty 2.0
thanks!

Launcher Pro allows you to hide any app from the list. I'm sure other launchers have this option as well. Another option would be to install Titanium Backup Pro, you can freeze the apps that you do not want and they will not run or show up in the list. Their counterparts will not break by freezing them.

Lastest Chrome Beta draining battery

Just installed the latest Chrome Beta from Play Store (like minutes ago) and after surfin a while I took a look at the battery stats and saw this:

}
Doesnt look right to me..
Sorry for the huge image, couldnt resize where I'm at :/
Seems alright. If you've only been surfing..

May well be that is accounted for by the initial syncing that chrome does
Sure, if the stats has been cleared that would make sense, but I've been using my phone for some time without clearing battery stats. Chrome shouldn't have a chance in hell to use more energy than the screen in that short while I used chrome after installing the latest beta. Before the install Chrome was way down the list.
But I cleared the stats and soon I'll see if it's behaving odd.

When I Force Stop an app in Control Panel, I lose 25-50MB of RAM..huh?

Force Stopping an app that wont stop misbehaving and killing memory (like the dumb facebook app)... suddenly I lost a ton of memory after doing so. I usually End Process in System Panel but facebook keeps reloading itself and gobbling RAM..so I resort to Force Stop so it wont keep running. I hate that damn app! Ends up using almost 60MB not even being used..Website works a ton better btw...thats why I dont use the shoddy app. But why TF am I losing RAM FS'ing an app? FS'ing makes it kill Firefox then I end up having to reload firefox all over again.
Let's let Xzibit fix your problem!

Atrium - A Really Good Alternative to Facebook Maybe Better

Atrium Might be the best app for surfing FB
And it is definitely too smooth, lighter(uses 1/3rd ram compared to fb), Less data consuming and no unnecessary permissions required
Also there is an option to kill the background process so it will be on only when u want it
If u are using my rom T3RomV2 then it is already there.

Download for free from playstore. Since its incompatible just use market helper
Heres the thread link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2154632
Alternate link(since its free):- http://apkleecher.com/download/?dl=com.radiantbits.atrium
Yup it's very good alternative fb it will kill the background process with back button! :thumbup::thumbup:
Sharm♡♥♡♥ Android 4.1.2 [T3RomV²]
Unfortunately atrium stopped working now! Facebook is ditching every app possible! There is no real alternative for official Facebook app if you want to share your status to groups!

[Q]Facebook App Chat icon

Hello, today i got a small issue from the facebook app.
When i clean data and cache from the app, it display the chat icon where it always did (and where i like) after i login after the data/cache cleaning of the app.
Like here:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But... after i close/back off the app, it don't stay there. When i open the app again the messages icon is near the search bar
Here:
This is driving me crazy. If i clean data and cache of the app it come back to normal but once i get out of the app the UI change it self again.
Am i missing something? Is there a way to keep it as it is when i first login after cleaning the data and cache of the facebook app?
This is getting really annoying, the "old" UI still there, so i think i should be able to keep it if i wish (as i do).
Anyone knows if there is something i can do? The version of the Facebook app is v45.0.0.38.146
