Flash/Browser problem - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Hey guys!
I have a little but annoying problem. Every time I browse the internet with my built in Browser and klick on a video, my Browser just closes. No FC, it just closes. I tried Mozilla, same thing. What could be the problem?
Thanks for helping me out.

Dolphin browser. It is pretty and very easy to use. Very simple to understand and change the browsing settings.
Opera mini - no flash, fast, no time wasted
Opera mobile - load flash site freaking fast, smooth enough.

recording video on keek problem: running cMIUI custom rom

Hi All,
I am running the latest cmiui build and its a great rom.
just noticed I have a problem when I try to record videos on the Keek app from the Play store.
Once you record a video the playback is all just lines with no clear video but the audio seems to work.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Cheers
SGS2 on cMIUI 2.8.10
Have you tried the app on a different rom? It might be a bug in the app itself.

Finally moved away from miui and back to a stock samsung rom.
Keek app works fine on stock so im guessing there was some kind of problem with the video driver used in the CM based miui rom.
Thanks for your input mate! :good:

How to install flash player on galaxy s2 with jelly bean

Anyone got it working like in ice cream sandwich or not that good? Because in that case won't upgrade to jelly bean.
There was modded Flash Player which works on JB.
But Dolphin or other browsers may not allow you to use Flash.

But those browsers won't allow me to use Flash on JB only or on previous versions of Android as well?
Only on JB and newer.
I don't see the benefits of upgrading to JB then. I think I'll stick with ICS for a long while, and then let's see what happens with HTML5 and such.
If you need Flash to play videos, you can use MX Player.

I'm pretty sure that won't work for videos using Adobe's encrypted transmission, or flash games. You are talking about youtube videos merely with flv format.
For example, can you play this video on Jelly Bean?

I'm not tied to Dolphin for any particular reason. If Firefox, Opera or any other web browser does the job it is fine.

You can install flash apk from here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771463
Dolphin, chrome and most likely Maxthon browsers won't play flash.
Firefox works, Boat browser plays flash
You will have to test other browsers yourself

No.
Opera Mobile, Opera Beta, Opera Mini, Chrome and UC Browser don't support Adobe Flash on Android.
Dolphin Browser, Tint Browser and Firefox do support it.
Check it here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html

That's not the most appropriate site for testing. I think it switches to HTML5 or so.
Thanks for the share! But shouldn't this be in the 'SGS2 Themes & Apps' section?

Install the .apk as normal.
Also Chrome doesnt support flash content regardless whether flash is installed or not.
I personally use Firefox over Chrome for that reason.
