Thank you

forgive me for asking similar question, but i really don't understand what to do. i got DHD before this and i have no problem in modifying it. however atrix is way different. the potential is high, but i couldn't do anything. so, anyone please give me a noob guide to unlock my phone's bootloader?
thanks in advance
So I was checking out Sony's bootloader unlock page to find out if my bootloader can be unlocked. Of course mine has to be locked permanently. Question is, is it as permanent as they say? Forgive my ignorance. Rogers irritates me so much.
Hi all,
The S3 is my first Android phone, so sorry if the question is redundant or dumb. But i couldn't find any clear info on the subject.
I bought a S3 locked under a promotion to unlock after 2 days with a code that was provided by the carrier, and now i have the
phone unlocked and using a SIM from another carrier.
While reading through the wanam lite thread, i noticed that the kind of unlock i have might not be considered a factory unlock.
My question is if can i flash my phone with a customized Rom (like wanam) and still retain the unlocked state? This kind of unlock is permanent?
Or i will brick my phone?
Thanks

I think it still cannot be unlocked, since carrier unlocking and bootloader unlocking are separate from each other.
In short words: no.
In long words: nope, carrier lock = SIM lock -> different physical module than bootloader lock.
I did SIM-unlock mine, still bootloader unlock allowed = no
Hello everyone, I hope someone has an idea if I can unlock the bootloader or its impossible, because I've been trying more than a month to find a way to unlock my bootloader to root the phone but not a single chance and my phone is Canadian was locked to bell but I unlocked the phone.
Thanks
