I've got my phone for around 2 months and last Friday dunno why I can hear the audio (music in-call or any type of sound) in only my right headphone, the left is silent and even in the right one I can barely hear anything... Does anyone know if this is related to KI8 or is my audio jack just f****d? (I tried like 6 headphones all the same problem and on my g-tab 10.1 they work fine)
Audio jack pushed hoe audio settings one channel turned down .

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2
Having problem with using the headphones and speaker on device. Sometimes when I plug in the headphones, the speaker turns off, but there is no sound in the headphones. Usually, I clear RAM memory and this solves the problem. So I guess this is some kind of software conflict? The other problem that occasionally happens is the headphone is working great and I remove the headphones to switch back to the speaker and no sound (although i can hear it faintly coming out of the headphone jack. Clearing the RAM doesn't fix this problem, but turning off the device and rebooting does fix the problem.
Is any one else having this problem? And is there a better fix?

Hi everyone. Have you tried to play some music at maximum volume?
My phone audio play it distorted and the volume is really low. Hope it's a software bug!!!

That happened to me once, I rebooted my phone and the distortion went away:good:
I guess you're right. After the reboot doesn't make it anymore. Think it's really a bug. Hope they fix it
if it happens again just double check outdoor mode is off just in case. it sounds pretty bad, even at lower volumes.
side note, has anyone tried viper4android yet? curious to know if it runs yet since the built in ROG eq only covers from 250hz to 8khz, viper gives you 60hz to 16khz I believe
ive had the same speaker bug that resetting seems to correct
but what im wondering is if anyone knows how to increase the headphone jack volume
im almost always on max volume with how low the audio is
I've been having problems with the aux jack being distorted only in my car. That's been going on for the week I've had mine, but just last night I had really poor audio from my Bluetooth earbuds. A restart fixed it but it's becoming a big enough pain I'm considering returning it.
Edit: Using the fan attachment and the aux jack on it yields normal, staticless audio.
