CM10 mms.apk port - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Is it possible to port new cm10 mms.apk with popup and quick replay to stock ICS like hd rom or similar?
Sent from my MT15i using xda premium

You can try yourself putting the CM10 messaging app in system/app, set permissions (rw-r--r--) and see if it works!
I'm afraid it's not gonna work thought!
The CM9 one will work for sure if you're interested!
Otherwise there are third party messaging apps like GoSms which have this feature!

I tryed that already but get FC, anyway seems I will have to change my Rom to cm10 for this.

Sorry to hear. Then you'll have to use custom widget.
You could try one more attempt with "adb install -r name.apk"
(I'm not sure if -r switch comes before or after install)

Anyway try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEwOSwiY29tLmJpcmRhcGkuYW5kcm9pZC5kcGlwcm8iXQ..
or the Free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwyLDEwMiwiY29tLmJpcmRhcGkuYW5kcm9pZC5kcGkiXQ..
Change DPI to HDPI or do it via Build.prop and try install this apk by moving it to system/app then opening the APK to the install screen

Did you set the permissions right? I believe it should work. At least it does on stock ROM. Are there any other files associated with the key board app?

I'd suggest giving Swype a try, if the default keyboard doesn't work for you. Just go to beta.swype.com and follow the instructions.

Download
XPERIA T JB KEYBOARD
Installation:
Reboot to Recovery
Flash zip file
Done
Optional
Do this:
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
If the for some reason the CWM zip didn't work for you or the Keyboard doesn't appear in settings do this:
1. Extract the zip file.
2. Ignore the META-INF folder
3. In the app folder, you'll find textinput-chn.apk (Mandarin Chinese keyboard) and textinput-tng.apk (English keyboard).
4. You can move one or both into /system/app folder with ES File Manager/root explorer/etc. (or even adb)
5. Move lib/libXT9Engine into /system/lib
6. Move usr/xt9 into /system/usr
7. Reboot. If you still don't see the keyboard in your settings, install the apk with your file manager which should work with the libraries installed.

Did you or anyone else try on a 4.1 Rom..(Since this is actually taken from the system dump of T running 4.1 itself,it's kinda weird)
Chinese keyboard didn't show up in "Language & Input"
tested on SEX Ray with CM 10.1 (Mike). Xperia (International) OK, but Chinese keyboard didn't show up in "Language & Input" so cannot choose it. Wiped cache and dalvik cache before install it and tried also reboot twice, no help.
Thanks & regards.
