How's it going, gentlemen? This has been here for 2 weeks and no one has posted a picture of what it looks like, so I took the liberty upon myself. As there is no screenshot function in TWRP that I am aware of, they are taken with my original Incredible, so they're slightly blurry, but you get the general idea.
As shown below, this UI includes the HTC logo in the top left, and all menus look nice in a horizontal column. However, I fear that those who have large fingers will have a difficult time selecting which menu they want to go to, as they're all in such close proximity. I also included the Wipe screen, to show how close everything is there, as well. Remember, you do have to confirm any wipe, so having large fingers isn't a bad thing as long as you notice that you clicked the wrong thing to wipe. Also, as shown in the first picture, every screen has the on-screen keys compacted and made to look nicer, but larger fingers will not prevail. You can always use the capacitive buttons on your phone, which provide haptic feedback in recovery, while the on-screen ones don't.
Overall, I think it's a nice overlay to an otherwise dull and dreary user interface, though I wish the size of the buttons was a little larger.

REQUIREMENTS
CM6.1 for the HTC Legend
CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip courtesy of Sympnotic - Download provided below.
LauncherPro (Recommended) OR Gingerbread Launcher
*** NOTE: Gingerbread Launcher 3D Free does not work on the Legend.
Icons (if using LauncherPro) courtesy of Benny879 @ the LauncherPro Forum - Download provided below.
Gingerbread Keyboard by Fabolous @ Droid Forums
LCDDensity
Livewallpaper from Gingerbread
*** NO METAMORPH REQUIRED!
STEPS
*** DO A BACKUP FIRST!!!
Flash CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip
Select STOCK_Black theme in CM settings. (User interface --> Tweak Extras)
Flash the keyboard and select Android Keyboard in text input.
Open up LCDDensity and set to 240 then restart.
Open up LCDDensity again, set to 160 (default), and restart again (this is to fix the unusually small size of the new keyboard).
Use the icons to give the LauncherPro dock the Gingerbread look. DO NOT FLASH THE ICON ZIP FILE just extract it and customize through the LauncherPro menu. Alternatively, you can use the Gingerbread Launcher in the Market, but it does not have support for a 3D app drawer.
Set wallpaper to "Nexus" live wallpaper.
BUGS
Rebooting the phone will cause the keyboard to return to its small state again. You'll have to repeat steps 4 & 5 to correct it.
After flashing the theme from Sympnotic, the CM theme options may appear as a blank menu with one checked radio next to it. Check it again, leave the menu, go back, and STOCK_Black should be there.
After flashing CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip I got stuck at the Cyanogenmod boot screen. I had to power it down then power it back up for it to properly boot. Everything was fine after.
"Add Call" button appears lower than the "End" and "Dialpad" buttons (See Post #5). Flash CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip to fix. Thanks to Sympnotic.
MISSING FEATURES
New live wallpaper as seen on the Nexus S. Fake Nexus S live wallpaper added!
Official Nexus S live wallpaper.
Orange colour burst when reaching the end of a menu.
Sleep animation.

I'm just trying to learn this stuff too. Right now I'm relying on Sympnotic for the theme and I'm not sure if there are any plans for a transparent version. Maybe in the future if I can figure it out myself.

No and no. I didn't create the required files mentioned in the first post. All I did was flash/install the required items, made sure everything worked, then posted exactly how I did it. I'm still in the process of learning about how to properly use the SDK, so I've been relying on more advanced users' work.
That doesn't mean that it isn't zipaligned or signed, I just don't know since I didn't make it. Why? Are you experiencing slower performance?

Hi, I did the theme, and no, i'm not signing or zipaligning it, I'm too lazy to do that as I'm always replacing things at the last moment before flashing and testing it, but I'm moving files from .zip to .zip to prevent issues concerning signing.
Properly recompiled (w/o errors) framework-res.apk using apktool (supposedly fake signed) gives me bootloops.
I'll grab the fake-sign java thing just in case and will find some infos about it.

Install
Download the version you would like to use
Move the .zip to your phone (/sdcard)
Reboot into CWM Recovery (red or green)
Select 'install zip from sdcard'
Select 'choose zip from sdcard'
Find and select the .zip file
Select Yes - Install ...zip
Reboot
*The update now wipes the Dalvik Cache. Due to this the first boot after flashing will take significantly longer. Be patient.

I see that you are only packaging the Swype.apk and not the accompanying libSwypeCore.so file from /system/lib/
if someone were to flash this with a mismatched libSwypeCore.so , force closes everywhere. Swype is pretty fickle about being messed with.

This will work on Nero V3 right??....
If you are too impatient, I have metamorphs that will theme just the keyboard. I am thinking about better ways to distribute Swype theme trails, and I figure if I just do them by ROM, then they are guaranteed to work when you flash them onto your phone. I am currently using Nerov3, and have made myself a green trail line to match my Naked White and Green, and the general green/white/black theme on Nero. It is just so much work to do by myself, I am considering asking for help from the community. The process is simple, but it's slightly overwhelming to try and make 6-7 different colors for a few dozen different versions. It's also very confusing when deciding which one to use.

Clear isn't an aesthetically pleasing idea, and since I haven't explained it in a while, I'll do it once more. Clear keyboards represent a problem in Swype because of the way the app operates. Instead of being individual buttons that are pressed, Swype is made up of whole images, 320x480px .pngs that work underneath a word detection algorithm. When Swype changes out the images (Caps, Symbols, Number Pad), instead of removing the previous image from the screen, it just layers the next image on top of it. Some versions cause the image to stay behind the top image, and others allow it to remove itself from underneath the top image after a few seconds. In either case, the background on all versions behind the image is a solid black. So, transparency doesn't ever truly take hold the way we want it to. The transparent parts are simply black to whatever degree of transparency we are using.
I'm not sure if that's what you were asking, but there's a slight explanation
It makes sense thanks now I can forget about it and move on

Hmm...downloaded and flashed from my phone but didn't work. I've never flashed a keyboard before but it says its just like flashing a rom...do you have to change any settings at all? Or just flash it, reboot and I'm good to go? I'll try downloading from my laptop when I get home, but it's not working from my phone. I even tried re-downloading and re-flashing, as I understand that's usually the issue. Anyone else have this problem?

Ice Cream Sandwich White ThemeWifi Only
This theme simply changes most of the systemui to a dull white instead of the blue that comes with ICS
Also this theme removes the annoying blue bar that comes up at the top when using adw or other launchers
More Colours to come and more of the ui to be changed to fit this color scheme also !
Change Log:
V1.1 - cleaned up bugs like not being able to read text
- changed colour of auto brightness button and changed colour of volume and brightness sliders
V1 - release
I know for sure this theme is compatable with Romanbb's ICS ROM but can somone do me a favour and do a nandroid and tell me if it works on anny of the other ROMS
It should do as at the moment most of the kangs are just trying to get ICS working properly so there shouldnt be many changes between roms

to get into clockwork mod you have to turn off your device then turn it back on but press the down volume button when your turning it on
once in cwm go down to install from zip and find where you have saved that rom
seriously if your this much of a noob look around first and learn a bit about android and rooting befor you start installing themes and mods but ill try to help you as much as possible anyways cause thats the kinda guy i am
In fastboot mode i flash the recovery img,i reboot my tab and still freeze on loading and my computer not reconize my tab, to put the stock room.
My tab not reboot in recovery
My tab is 7100
There is a kick-ass themer on the Galaxy Nexus forums (Rootzwiki anyhow) that did a theme called "ICS & Black", that replaces all the very bland grey menus with a super nice translucent black, and quite a number of other changes. I'd love someone to modify that code to run on AOKP/ICS--that theme actually runs on AOKP for the Nexus--I wonder how hard it would be to port it to AOKP/Tab? Honestly this would give you a huge head start, and perhaps that Gsxrdon would let you modify it from there--up to him. I actually like the blue/white combination of ICS, especially since GSX figured out how to get a pure white as opposed to the greyed out white that is stock.

Thanks B00sted for sharing the link!
It generally changes all the menus to a jet black, transparent background versus the grey stock. Also, it replaces the grey-white lettering with pure, bright white--and, yes, uses the stock "ICS Blue". I personally love the look--you have to see it, especially on a Super amoled screen, with those deep, deep blacks. Not quite so good on the tab, but still gorgeous. There are a lot of details to this, including themed gapps as well. All I can say is the final effect is stunning--it all hangs together quite nicely. Stock is so bland compared to this. Even if you don't love that blue, when combined with a pure white and a deep black background, it's lovely.
I think a strong theme on this would do a lot to get more people to switch to ICS, which seems to work quite well-and I"m coming from Task's version of Honeycomb, so I had a great rom to start. I think ICS is simply a better starting point. The black-cyan theme to me is compelling enough that I and many others wait to update our phone rom until the theme is available for that version. I think this would give the tab some real sizzle.
cool well i shall see what it looks like on our tabs :

Does that mean you are going to try to port it over so you can see? If you succeed, I know for a fact I'd like to have it--you may of course wish to modify it further--please bear in mind to provide credit as appropriate to the original developer. It won't look as good simply as the screen isn't as good, especially when it comes to rendering black, but I'm sure it will still be terrific, and I appreciate you taking the time to check it out!

He doesn't want it "stolen"--I'm sure he'll cooperate on this--I have made him aware of the issue directly as well--He was also interested in the differences between the tab and the phone. I assume the rom itself is virtually the same, and I actually tried themeing it--it did boot, but the theme killed the system app so that the softkeys and the status bar crashed. Other than that, it actually worked, in that for example the power menu was themed perfectly, as were many of the application menus. I thought the fact it booted was a good sign. I cannot believe the dev won't let you do this with him for the tab--perhaps you can get joint credit--I would guess that's all he wants, and that he'd help you, though his time is limited. However, since he supports AOKP, I'd think this shouldn't be too hard for him. Please let me know how it goes with him. Regarding the resolution of pictures, I have no idea--the screen on the Nexus has almost as many pixels as that on the tab, when you get down to it--very high resolution screen.
Hello guys! It's me again doing some crazy stuff for a "dead" device
I managed to get an almost fully functional UltraSmoothRosie. That's right. There's only one single bug.
So:
BUGS
Pinch to zoom out force closes the launcher, use home button instead
Top bar icons are stretched and "All Apps", "Personalize" and "Add" ICONS are not visible (the buttons work)
The edit menu (when you longpress an icon or widget) is stretched in landscape mode (use portrait for removing/editing)
Previews when moving items are often wrongly placed, but the actual moving process works just fine
Wallpaper is aligned incorrectly
Homescreen indicator (the white bar that moves when you scroll) is not visible
Leap view (previews of the five homescreens) is all messed up
Previews of the homescreen in the Personalize Menu have icons and widgets aligned incorrectly
Give it a spin, and tell me if you can find any quirk/detail/bug. And if you download it and actually use/like it, click the thanks button

Just flash it in CWM, no wipes required.
Another minor mod, that I made playing around with the M10Tools is a modification to the HTC Lockscreen to remove the bottom bar and the circles around the icons to accomplish a cleaner (Sense 4 like) look.

So, yesterday I looked into the UltraSmooth Rosie mod for many HTC handsets, and I noticed the Jetstream has one, so I decided to try it out on my Flyer (a long shot, I know). It worked, but the top navbar had sizing issues, which made it impossible to access "All Apps", "Personalize" and "Add" menus. Plus, when trying to delete an object from the screen, I noticed the "Remove" icon was offscreen too, so I could not remove stuff. A blazing fast, lagfree, and pretty useless launcher.
So i took M10 tools and started resizing what I thought was what I needed to, and the outcome was almost perfect. I still can't work out the png's sizing (they are exactly in the same place, but the actual FUNCTIONAL icons are moved where you can reach them, so the launcher is pretty much 100% functional. And believe me: it's damn smooth.
So:

Can you also upload the stock Rosie, in case we want to go back?
Restarted the Flyer today and I'm having force closes since then. Can't enter the launcher at all.
Any solutions?

Try wiping cache and dalvik and reflashing mod, that didn't ever happen to me
Any progress on those last few bugs?

I have been very busy lately but I managed to understand the logic behind HTC's Rosie layout. I fixed the positioning for all items for portrait, and landscape should be an easy process. The problem is I don't know how to fix the pinch to zoom out or the previews. But I can live with that. Maybe tomorrow I find some time to fix landscape and upload version 0.9. Cheers
All (except for ***** to zoom) fixed!
OP updated with version 1.0. All bugs but pinch to zoom fixed.
I installed the mod today and i Like it. Please fix the Last Bug and i will love it
I am going to be honest with you: I have absolutely no clue on how to do it. I think the way to fix it is SMALI editing, and that is a field I have no knowledge of. It would be pretty cool if we could get a real dev to take a look at it.
Did you try asking @hamdir? He should know a thing or two about that and maybe he can explain.
Tried installing it again on my Flyer and after boot I get continuous force close. Any suggestions on why?
Using a Flyer Wi-Fi.

Which ROM are you running? Did you try wiping and reflashing?
I was running a the stock rooted ROM. I tried with another ROM and it works again.
What I don't like is the animation in the app drawer when scrolling through app pages. It's a bit jerky.
It always was, as far as I reckon. HTC really did a crappy job at programming HC Rosie. It has so many flaws
The stock one has less that this one.

Seems you guys over here on the One Max need a bit of inverted love. This is a port of the amazing DarkOne theme found here. Please note, I'm doing this theme blind, and it will have issues at the start, but I will be able to fix if you provide detailed feedback and screenshots of issues.
This theme is based on ViperMax Verizon ROM, but you are willing to try if you're on other ROM's. I will support ViperMax, as it will be too hard to maintain for different ROMs. I will also add Sprint support if Sprint users help me with feedback.
Download DarkMax Theme 1.0.3
DarkMax 1.0.3 is compatible with ViperMax 1.0.1
Update 7th Jan:
- BlinkFeed background
- Black on black text in browser
- Fixed white background when going between sense screens
- Fixed number is call history
- Fixed calendar
- Fixed world clock (I think)
- Fixed some font colours in weather app
- Fixed black on black when entering pin or password in settings and on lockscreen
11th Jan (second attempt)
- Keyboard popup fix
- Sprint messaging compatibility
To install:
Download
Nandroid backup
Install in recovery
Enjoy

the icon for sending a message in Messaging is the paperclip (normally used for attachments) and the picture of a person is the attachment button.
Also, when using the keyboard the letters that pop up as you press the keys are black on black.

I use integrated sms with google hangouts , plus I use the LG G2 keyboard with their black theme. Looks good. The LG G2 keyboard match well with this HTC Black Theme. Thanks again.
Everything is where it's supposed to be here so far. I use the stock messaging app though. I can second that the letter that shows when pressing the keyboard, the pop up one, is black on black. Other then that. I haven't found an issue. On Vzw, if that helps.

I'm not really sure about the switched icons, the theme shouldn't really mess with that stuff unless the max gives weird names for it's icons. Will look into it later.
Could one of you please flash this zip to see if it fixes the keyboard? It's not an ideal fix, but I don't want to be messing with smali to fix that issue when I can't test myself.

@Basil3 Ok flashed it. It's no longer black on black. It is now white with black text. Sshould remedy the situation. I'm not really concerned with it just thought you would like to know. Thanks for the fix. Anything else you need help with let me know. Gotta be hard to implement changes without a device to test it on. So, you can use mine by proxy haha.

You're on Sprint? Theme is only fully compatible with Verizon, am not entirely sure how easy it is to make compatible for both at the moment.
