I was tiring to flash a custom rom and I forgot to backup the original software.
I know not backing up was a bad mistake.

Try running the RUU from the article below. It's for Jelly Bean. Make sure you relock your bootloader prior to running this, otherwise it won't work. I believe you'll also have to rename the file PJ75IMG.zip for it to work.

Might as well put a lock on it since he started another thread. Also, he was able to resolve his issue, according to his last post in his other thread.

I'm not really sure about your problem for lack of details, but I can tell you that this is the development section and you should have posted this in the Q&A section. You may get better help there.
Is the pg86img.zip still on your sd card? If so, pull your sdcard out. Put it in your pc. Delete the pg86img.zip file off put it back on your phone and then try it.

still nothing when i run the RUU it just sits there at "rebooting to bootloader" and thats it...and i have tried the zip thing but it just sits at the 1st option updating and nothing else.
You need to install the drivers for the phone when in bootloader.

OK, if you have not resolved it yet, can you answer the following:
1) is it booting that way or does the phone boot normally and the fastboot screen is where it goes when you start the RRU from your computer.
2) the way it stops at parsing zip, it almost sounds like the zip file fastboot uses to update is in the root of the sd card.
Hopefully you have it fixed already and this was a waste of typing
Any issue with this? or should I try the HTCDEV unlock method again? I was unlocked but not sure when it went back to locked. Had to be during flashing something I guess. Thanks Hboot is 1.15

No. That text is irrelevant if you're S-OFF. However I do recommend you flash back to the LazyPanda 1.22.2222 HBOOT, either on the unlimited.io site directly, or using the RegawMOD Bootloader Customizer. That'll allow you to fastboot flash through the bootloader again.
yep

Yes. If you flash the one from the LP site, the banner will say
--LazyPanda--
If you use the Bootloader Customizer, you can make it say whatever you want .

If that solution doesn't work, I recommend posting in that thread. It is more likely that someone will be able to answer your question in a place related to the software that you're having issues with rather than creating a new thread. Just a tip though
Look into TWRP Recovery v.2.2.1 ~ I believe there is an option for mounting read write. If not, download the latest Jewel RUU that includes the recent OTA upgrades.

when i go into recovery it says that its been tweaked and unlocked but no superuser is there at all would it be my computer or my phone ?
Nah my bad, I meant from within the rom itself.

Do you have recovery? When I was rooting my previous EVO that was on the newest firmware it couldn't push the root files. All I had to do was download and flash them.

Had the same issue. Download the SuperSU zip and flash using recovery then you should be good to flash a custom rom.

I flashed the latest stock kernel (option 2) for jellybean and when I tried to RUU my phone, it always fail (I think code 43 doesn't recognize version).
I thought about downgrading the kernel but I saw that people say it would result in a brick.
are there any methods that works with the latest stock kernel to RUU or better yet to S-OFF?

yes, you can get S-off with hboot 1.19 by going here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1964309
please hit the thanks button if this helps you
That is actually the method that I tried to use but it doesn't work because I cannot flash RUU due to my kernel version

What is this option 2 you used? Power off your phone and then boot into bootloader. What hboot version do you have?
You can change kernel at any time, if u have a jb rom changing kernel will cause ur rom to stop booting,

The zip that I flashed contains not only the kernel but also the recovery, I heard people saying downgrading would result in a brick

Hello,
I recently tried to root my HTC One A9s and all was successful up until I tried the custom recovery (TWRP) when I enter bootloader and attempt to boot to recovery mode my phone freezes and displays the text "This build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action"
Bootloader unlocked, imaged and cache cleared and have I just have this problem, first time running into this i let the battery die and attempted to yet again enter recovery mode only this time showing "Software status: Modified" not "Official" and I also have some "<Orange State>" if that's anything to worry about?
Thank you in advance.

I don't have any experience with the A9s, but I've ran into this before with HTC OneX. Are you s-on or s-off? Also, are you sure the recovery you flashed was meant for this device? (I ran into this when I accidentally flashed HTC One recovery on HTC OneX.)
