A buddy upgrade his game console and gave me his JXD S5110 :good:
I have been coding apps for my Huawei U8150 IDEOS and Samsung Galaxy SII so I have some experience setting up drivers and dumping apps to the devices etc.
However, I can't get the JXD to be seen by my Windows box?? :crying:
As I only got the game console off my friend I didn't get any disc etc. that might have come with it with drivers etc.
I have tried the Google drivers and that doesn't appear to help.
Has anyone else been building apps with the Google ADK for the JXD S5100?
Where do I get hold of the correct driver?
Cheers,
AD

Okay so I have literally torn the internetz a new one looking for solutions to my problem.
I just bought a Nextbook premium 7s on sale at big lots for $90. Details about the device are on nextbookusa's website (it's the premium 7 resistive).
Any way my problem is that I am trying to install m****t oh sorry play store and every thing else on it. As you may or may not know cheap tablets like this aren't "google certified" and don't come with Gapps installed.
The only thing is, I need to be able to ADB to it and I cant get the drivers to work for it. Every time I try to use Google usb drivers it tells me there is no driver compatible for you device find one for 64bit blah blah. But it is a 64bit as well as 32bit driver.
Im on win7 64bit btw.
So can anyone help me?
If worse comes to worse I'll try adding values to the .inf file inside the google usb folder for the nextbook 7s. I just don't know what values to add.

Bump.
Yeah I even tried screwing with ADB in linux and nothing. I also tried just moving over the .apks that needed to be installed with adb and installing them on the tablet, that of course didn't work.
I just need someone to help me with the drivers.
Bump.
I purchased the same device last weekend... I too tried to load the apks with no success. I got the older Google market app to load but it fails when I launch it and says that I need a Google account on the device.
The manufacturer does not even have firmware up on their website for the device.
Found this while searching for the same thing. Co-worker got one & was asking me how to install apps. Found the hard way about these cheap tablets.

Hi
I recently installed Remix OS to my Asus X502C laptop and it all seemed really quick and easy so I decided to try it out on my old Linx 7 Windows Tablet and my iRulu Windows W1005 however I just cannot seem to get it to work.
I can get it installed to either the hdd or a bootable USB drive but when I choose the Android OS to boot from I get varying errors of missing things etc and then it hangs on a black screen.
I have also tried various other Android images listed to work on Windows tabs and other installers; Rufus, the Androidx86 installer 2.4 from a thread on this forum etc..
I can run MEmu no problem on my iRulu but I really would like a dual boot on it or just single boot on the Linx 7, I am a member on the Linx forum and Reddit but the Android discussion seems to be dead on there and guides/files are missing but people have said they have had Android running.
Can anyone point me to something that will work?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Holly
Wine 3.0 has been released recently and it now supports android, especially x86 android, like our beloved YB.
Unfortunately, im using windows version.
ive tried the WINE 3.0 on my Shield Tablet (arm), it works but with limited function. i only got to play with the windows calculator. media player comes pre-installed but doesnt run. maybe because my android tablet was ARM-based.
ive discovered that for android, the C:/ directory is at /data/data/org.winehq.wine/ - so you would probably need to root your device.
for those who have the YB android, pls let us know what you think
I tried to get Office 2016 working in Wine 3.1 but got an error upon install. I haven't had a chance to try any other installs
I am trying to use the program adblink but can not connect. Also tried platform tools, no connection. I want to restore my Kodi build to the tablet from my Win 10 pc. Any help appreciated.
