I also have this problem, if you have sorted this can you let me know how you went about this.
Thanks, tjpearson

i have no permission to able link from outside forum.
Thanks for reply
That would be good, I've mailed you.
If and when I repair this phone I'll create a slide show with instructions, already done that for a few gadget repairs.
The latest is detailed view on how to solve the A/C cut out with Compaq Presario R3000 if anybody is interested, saved me £300 plus doing it myself.
Help is what these forums are all about.
I have the service manuals with lots of pics and details to fix neo. I don't know if I can upload them here. Maybe you can find help in those. Google them or pm me your email if you need them.
I actually have the manual as well, devrruti but sadly it doesn't provide much info on how to stick the touch screen back to the frame, only tells us to use something like a "pressure tool" set at 60N and press the touchscreen towards the frame.
But we don't have that kind of tool so there must be a workaround...
DO NOT try to change the touch screen yourself, unless you first find a way to safely detach the touch screen from the front face body of the Neo.
I tryied myself and have not yet managed to separate the two things, it seems it is glued or something like that.
If anyone finds out the way to pull it off, please let me know.
I managed to find a similar guide, but for the Xperia Play. It's a different device, but it's probably based on the same principals. http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing-Sony-Xperia-Play-Digitizer/7593/1 ... BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DOING THIS!
I managed to disassembe the device. The problem that I have now is that I cannot prevent dust from getting in between the lcd display and the touch screen glass at the moment I connect them back.
Any ideas? any practical recipe to avoid dust?
Hi there!
Well I know what I did wrong: I dropped my phone onto the hard ground. Since then the touchscreen hasn't been working properly. A horizontal strip about a third of the way up the screen doesn't accept any touch input now.
I found the X10 Mini Pro service manual online, so I'm fairly confident I can take it apart and find parts of eBay if needs be.
But before I take it apart or order any parts can anyone tell me the most likely fault, given that it was dropped and that only part of the touchscreen isn't working?

Yehh...nothing ..me to..
Being searching for weeks. Nothing. I also can not find a local guy to replace my digitizer
There is no teardown video for Xperia Z3 tablet compact, just for Z4 its the same you have to heat the front and take off the screen, take care with the screen. I just did it cause my tablet waa dead, disconnect the battery and its working now.
I tried to replaced my Z3 tablet cracked touch digitize but working tablet and ending up with a non functional tablet. It seem impossible to replace just digitize or LCD display, both LCD display and touch digitize glue fused together to keep thin.
Hope that help.
Cheers
Hi I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khtsv07Nvyg
Does anyone know where I can find a logic board replacement? I bought a oneplus 3 but I wanna fix my old xperia m4 and use it like an ipod touch (doesnt matter is its locked or not) thank you
Buy M4 Aqua with broken LCD and digitizer and swap mainboard
I just broke my mido but touch and lcd is fine but the glass cracked so i want to know that is it possible to just get the digitizer changed instead of getting whole lcd replaced bcz its too costly any one plz suggest ??
It's posibble, but it requires specific tools and a lot of experience! Nobody will do that! The work would cost more then a half of the phones price. It's better and easier to replace the both together. It's arround 20-25 Euro or 30$.
