Hi,
I've recently bought a MKT6577 Galaxy 3 clone - HDC S9380.
The phone is running on Jelly Bean 4.1.1
Whenever I'm making an outgoing call there is a call connected vibration when the call is picked up by the other side, the feature is nice, but the problem is that the person I'm calling is able to hear this vibration in their phone. Is there a way to disable this vibration, or delay the microphone initiation?
I already tried changing all the sound and vibration settings in the phone without any success.
Thanks for help
any ideas?
Problem In rom try contacting developer of the rom.

Have you gone to Phone app->Menu->Settings and looked there? There should be an option. I have it on CyanogenMod, I don't know if it's there in stock ICS or not.

Checked the settings already, there is nothing regarding vibrate on call connect
Moonguy75 - there is no way to contact the developer of the rom, it's a "stock" rom on Chinese phone
Is it possible to somehow modify the phone.apk, to disable this vibration?

I can't hear any sound when I'm making outgoing calls or any incoming calls. When I dial the number, it works but no sound during the call. Sound is on.
I had Resurrection ICS custom rom. So, I removed everything. I unrooted my phone and installed the regular files using this tutorial. (stock phone)

But, I'm still getting no sound during my calls. Please help me. Tell me what else should I do?

Well since you found something on a site that isn't this one I'm afraid we can't give you much support

Lets not following anything from that site in the future and stick to what we have here.
Do you still have a custom recovery?
I had this problem before when I had a custom ROM which I downloaded it from this site. it was the Resurrection v2.3 ICS. The author told me to install CM9 kernal and I did. My phone went completely black screen after reboot so I had to reset everything and install the stock phone. I'm back to Android 2.3.4 unrooted and regular stock kernal.
But the problem is still happening.

Do not modify anything else in the future without reading.
I've had this feature on various phones and roms, but can't seem to find anything for the S3. Anyway to enable this?
I was using CallVibrate but that no longer works. In fact it seems the SGS3 isn't supported any more.
Or perhaps there's a way to get Tasker to accomplish this? That'd be better than using another app.
Any ideas?
Hmmmm never heard of this problem as my GS3 always vibrates when answered. Im on Stock Leaked JB LI7 Firmware Rooted and not having a problem with it at all mate.

Ahhh... once I read that you didn't have that problem, I went deep, deep into the settings, and although I thought I looked everywhere, I didn't hit the call settings menu under the stock dialer. There's an option for setting call alerts and I saw it there.
Thanks for the feedback. I can rest in peace now I've been on every single leaked JB release and I've never had it work!
Glad you got it all sorted now mate
Disable call answer vibration and direct call
Hi everyone ! Is there a way to disable vibration when i swipe to answer an incoming call and also when using direct call?
I am using I9305 with android 4.1.2. I tried call settings-call alert-call vibrations but the options aren't thicked. I cannot find another option.
I am using Sony Xperia Neo L with ported Paranoid CM9 rom with CM9 OC Gov Net kernel. I have used it for a few months until today, I can't receive phone calls but can still make phone calls. When somebody calls me, the phone will just vibrate for less than a second. I can see who is calling me in the call logs. There isn't a screen for me to answer the call: with a call icon which can be pulled left or right. The caller would just hear my neo L's voicemail greeting or like forwarding to another phone ( i know that because the beeping sound is different.) I have checked the forwarding setting already. Plz help!!!!

Do I need to wipe data (reset)??? I don't want to do that because i will loose all my apps and files. BTW, thanks.
you are using panaroid. maybe you messed up with some pixel density in it app. dont change phone app pixel density, dont change its UI to tablet or phablet.
Use phone apk as phone UI and default 160px.
Yep like rajx^^ said try reinstall
The rom n do a full wipe bro
Do you see the notification icon when a call arrives try tapping it.
I had this bug once.
Off topic : Did you really use this ROM for months or am I just seeing things

Hi all,
I am using Android 4.3 and I have an issue with my phone in "Vibration" mode. All the notifications are loong vibration and I can not change it unless the applications allows it explicitly (i.e. Whatsapp)
The problem is that in "vibration" mode, each gmail mail or hangout conversation makes my phone a long vibration which I would like to be the normal 2 short buzz.
Do you know if I can change it? Am I the only one with this issue?
Thanks!!!

Hello,
Actually I have changed from Basic call -> Heartbeat but it just affect the vibration pattern of a received call. The notification is still long.
Thanks
OK, got a strange issue with incoming calls in my LG L7 II P714 running stock OS (more details in my signature)
If the incoming call takes place when the phone isn't locked, the stock ROM dialer (so it seems) is triggered (see in thumbnails).
If the incoming call takes place when the phone is locked, the AOSP dialer is triggered (also in thumbnails).
Is this the expected behavior from this ROM? Does this happen to everyone?
I also have exDialer installed, but I think it has nothing to do with it - it is merely a shell for dialing over the standard one (so I was told by exDialer support) that can't be triggered on incoming calls.
It seems to me like a stock ROM/dialer issue. Anyone with insights about it?
Hmmm... No reply from anybody?
Would like to ask anyone having an L7 II device to try answering an incoming call in locked and unlocked states and tell me if the behavior is the same as in my device.
Cheers.

OK, thanks riskey. Must be yet another one of the stock ROM oddities.

I also have it, i think it's because when the device is locked, it's too easy to accidentally do a single tap to reply/refuse but when it's unlocked it's easier to reply whit only a tap without sliding
(Sorry for the English)
