Hi guys,
Another thread is discussing blue marks on the screen from pressure, and it sounds like the Verizon case and/or the holster is the culprit. Is anyone else having this issue? I need a holster but I just replaced my DNA that had this problem. I'm worried about using the holster now.
Are you using the verizon shell one with the kickstand? If so yeah take it off its squeezing the DNA out of it..

That's the one. Do you recommend any other case? Do you think the case is squeezing the dickens out of it, or the actual holster?
The one case I actually liked hurts my DNA. Guess I'm going otterbox again.

I tell you what though. I took off the case and poof. Blue spot gone.

I own the diztronic case but now that I've had it about about a week is starting to get annoying. The case is a bit slippery.
Well guess what? My DNA has the faint blue spot now too. Sigh. And I only use the Verizon tpu case. Now what? It's very faint but now I notice it.

Looking for a case for my x2 that will fit in both of my docks, without modifying either. Searched amazon and google and didn't have any luck. Currently rocking a phantom skin, but want more protection.

I also would like to know. I got the essential pack when it was on sale for $20 and I use the car dock alot. The post on otterbox defender X2 case is mine and I didn't get it because I would have to take my phone out to use it.

I use both docks daily, and it's a pain to remove the case all the time. I think we're SOL...

That's what I'm thinking also and it sucks ***. I'm currently using the verizon case that has the stand. I like the stand part but there's gotta be a case somewhere that works with the docks :'(

Pretty dumb that somebody hasn't made one yet. The Droid X obviously had the same problem. Some manufacturer could make a killing...

The issue that bars this kinda of dock is the endless array of cases with different size specs. Unless a peripheral manufacturer made a case and a dock intrinsically designed to function in conjunction with one another, there's no real solution.

Motorola/Verizon should have thought of this when releasing these docks. You know they thought about it a little because they have the insert you can take out of the car one.

I don't know of any phone that has a case for the dock. My tbolt didn't either.

At least the tbolt desk dock thought about an extended battery. I'm getting one on friday, and I'm 99% sure it won't have a problem fitting either dock.

A Verizon store manager I spoke to said his Droid X2 with the "High Gloss Silicone Protective Cover" case fit in the car dock without issue. I didn't buy the case as I needed one with a holster, but he basically informed me that its the only case that works without modification in the docks.

I have this case. He's wrong
The car dock has a layer of plastic with the moto logo that can be removed, so a thin silicone case should work.
The deal dock, however, doesn't look like it has any room for a case besides a skin like invisible shield.

I love Incipio cases!! I really hope they come out with a RAZR version of their feather cases. Had one on my bionic and it was amazing!!
It's funny because as soon as i got my RAZR I emailed Incipio and they said they had no plans to release any case for it!! Guess they changed their plans!!
Thanks for the find!

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you know if a case that either has a,
Battery built in, or has a front covering case preferably attached to the back. Basically so that front part of the case is hinged.

Probably won't find one with a built in battery as the charging port is covered. There is a flip cover by nillkin that looks pretty sweet

If you had to choose between the Otterbox defender and the seidio active, what would you choose and why? I am looking for a toughish case and it is between these two. I have experience with Otterbox on my old iPhone but have never used seidio stuff before. Have at it.

I don't like the looks (or price) of either.
I bought a "cheap" case of ebay. This one

I know this thread's about two other cases, but since this recommendation was tossed into the mix I want to share that I just today gave away one of these Ballistic cases. It was "okay", but not great. I didn't like that the hard plastic surround shell didn't wrap around the top and bottom at all, so when putting the phone into (or pulling it out of) my pocket the silicone would peel back. To each their own...
Try the BodyGlove
Check the Body Glove case, it gives a nice solid feel and good grip. I really like how it makes the buttons press, very smooth and solid clicks on the power and volume buttons.

Otterbox Defender is the toughest case you can get, but it does add significant bulk. Doesn't really bug me since I was running an extended battery on my last phone, but it's something you have to consider.
