[Q] stuck in boot loop, no recovery menu - HTC Droid DNA

when i tried to flash the gapps for my new installed rom my HTC legend is in a boot loop.
i have:
htc legend, hboot 1.01, s-on
for some reason my recovery menu isnt working, only when i start it from the CWM app.
cause my hboot isnt unlocked i cant flash a recovery with ADB, i get this error: (remote: signature verify fail)
how can i install a recovery menu? or get my bootloader unlocked. or reset my phone to full defaults.

Well. This is the droid DNA forums, Mayne you should post this in the correct forum for your device.

[Q] Installing Cyanogenmod 7.1 (noob)

Hello, i've been trying to get Cyanogenmod 7.1 onto my legend for a while now and simply can't seem to find a solution.
I have unlocked the bootloader via HTCDev.
I have rooted via HTC Super tool V3 (option 1 then 3)
I am using, or well trying to use, Rom Manager to flash with Cyano but instead of arriving at the CWM Recovery screen on reboot, i get the standard one, which also refuses to read the update.zip i tried out (False-flash)
No matter what i try, i get the "failed to verify whole-file signature" message..
Please help
HTC Legend
Android 2.2
Hboot 1.02
S-On
You most likely missed the last part of htcdev unlocking - flashing the unlock_code.bin:
fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
Only then you can flash Clockwork recovery via update.zip or via "adb flash recovery recovery.img" in recovery mode.

Sounds like you haven't flashed ClockworkMod Recovery. If you have unlocked your bootloader, then follow the S-OFF instructions here.

Problem after wiretrick.

Ok, so i s-offed my phone using wiretrick. After that i flashed my hboot to 1.49.0007 using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906172
I succesfully s-offed and the hboot works fine.
Everytime i simply try to boot (using only the power button) i get the juopunotbear sign: http://imageshack.us/f/189/brickedevo.jpg/
Note: i can boot into recovery, 4ext says it is in safe mode and that i need to wipe all partitions (i do, the error stays).
I can install anything from my recovery but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? Downloading the latest EU ICS RUU as we speak.
edit: When trying to flash stuff via fastboot i get the error: FAILED (remote: not allowed)
Edit: Oke serious problem right now, i tried the restore from unlimited.IO whilst i had my normal sd-card in it (32gb) and now it shows only 2gb on my computer, and has the same files as the 2gb. im sure this is the 32gb. any ideas on how to get it back to 32gb?

I had the same problem, then i relocked my bootloader and flashed stock ruu(u can't flash ruu with unlocked bootloader). If u unlocked bl with htc method it is easy to relock it again- just type in fastboot mode : fastboot oem lock . This should work for u

edit: I flashed the stock rom, so i had stock ics yesterday. tried to flash recovery via fastboot with unlocked bootloader few minutes ago, worked!!! So i can flash everything again.
Still weird that i had to unlock my bootloader whilst im s-off...
Fixed it by flashing stock, unlocking bootloader, flashing recovery and flashing super user.
Now booting viper3D!

[Q] EVO Flashing

Working on this for 2 straight days. I was previously running ViperRom and decided to switch over to SolidRom. I tried everything to get Solidrom working. "fastboot flash boot" command doesn't seem to flash anything for me and gives me the FAILED (remote: not allowed) message.
As of now i'm running:
Hboot 1.58 "locked"
S-off
Installed the link on SolidRom's forum: /RUU_Shooter_ICS_35_S_Sprint_WWE_2.89.651.2_Radio_1.09.00.0706__NV_SPCS_1.43_release_271101_signed.exe
When i try to get into recovery (revolutionary cwm) it just gives me the htc error screen with a phone and an exclaimation mark.
when i boot my phone up, it looks like its on a stock rom: htc sense 3.6, android 4.0.3, kernel 3.0.16

It is like that because your HBOOT doesn't allow some fastboot commands. I think you unlocked your phone with "wire-trick", so all you need is to use some HBOOT (like JuoponutBear HBOOT for your phone - CDMA right?, which you can find on www.unlimited.io, or other ones which allow those commands). When you do that, you will be able to use fastboot flash, erase etc...
Also, check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978652, you might find something useful

When you flashed the RUU it replaced your CWM recovery with the stock recovery and your Revolutionary hboot with the stock 1.58 bootloader. You need to reflash your Revolutionary bootloader and CWM recovery, although it might be worth considering an upgrade to 4EXT recovery.
Edit: This post is a guide to change your hboot and you should be able to flash a recovery with fastboot after that.

the command by the way is
"fastboot flash boot boot.img"
try that and if not try back
but that wont fix the recovery screen problem....you have to bkot into hboot ad then go to fastboot ....hook up the usb cable and then type in this : "fastbotr flash recovery (name of your recovery).img"...no spaces...
from there you should get to your old recovery screen

Stuck in stock recovery after unsuccessful s-off

I was rooting and working on s-off on my girlfriends phone last night and couldn't find a wire to complete the process. Now its stuck in stock recovery, even after I flashed twrp before trying s-off. Please help, talk about one pissed girlfriend.

Need more info. What did you do and what didn't you do in terms of a normal root/s-off procedure?
boot into bootloader, put it into fastboot, flash custom recovery, preferably 4EXT with smartflash enabled
then boot into recovery and install a rom of your choice(that boots with s-on)
[i'm assuming you are unlocked and s-on right now?]
OR
run an RUU to get back to stock

Relocked bootloader after s-off

I accidentally hit the factory reset option while in the bootloader. After this my phone would not boot past the HTC splash screen, and I couldn't boot into the recovery (it would just boot loop). So, I decided to reflash the RUU to get out of the loop, This worked fine except for the fact that now in the boot loader the "dirty racun" banner has been replaced with the "locked" banner and I can't install a custom recovery, when I type in the fastboot command to push a recovery I get an error saying it failed. Anyone have any ideas? I was going to redo the bootloader unlock script that team fireballas wrote but I couldn't log into htcdev.com to get the unlock.bin file. I also retried the rabies shot from unlimited.io but it said the racuns had already been released. It appears that I have s-off but the bootloader is locked again.

You need to download the eng hboot (dirtyracun) from unlimited io website and flash it you can easily do this through the bootloader by naming the zip PJ53IMG and booting into the boot loader or you can do it through fastboot.
