drivers from pppwidget forum work only on stock kernel, so I can't use another. what kernel and drivers you use?
Can someone explains how to configure the tablet to use the drivers for the widget. I am with the stock ROM, but can't run it.

stock ROM or custom ROM is not a problem. You have to use stock kernel (3.4.5-g4e6298b).
download the driver packages for Nexus 10 here: http://draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/bb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1113 and copy the unpacked files to this folder: [sdcard]/pppwidget/lib
I have to flash stock kernel for 3G when I need, and flash back to custom kernel later. (Flash Image GUI app is useful, can be found a free download on this forum )

I'm on new baseband and am using amonra 2.2.1b.
Edit: Reflashed, works now.

Today I've just flashed the rom on my p500.
The Rom still has many bugs, I have tried all
those listed in the official post but I have gsm signal and i can make call.
I have flashed the rom using ClockworkMod

Main advantage is that CM has many included patches, so it's far easier to get it works (well as we can see it's still pretty hard). Also it should have better launcher and some other apps. And I think CM settings are comimg in future.

Me too.. How can we resolve??
When Pin off = works
I have other problem, I can't install apps from market skype, filemanager and other all.
I have tried almost all CM7.2 Roms available here but could'nt find it working.
In Roms like that from FAT Team,
The USB Tether option is highlighted but when i click it
It says USB tethred and then next second itself it'll say USB not connected
In cm9by Maclaw, USB Tether Option is highlighted but it doesn't seem to do nything. Once i click nothing happens ;(
Then i was worried thinking My Ace has some problem so I flashed Stock Based Custom Rom and bang USB Tethring is working....
so is it normal ??
What say guys??
Help appreciated
It works on the rom in my signature flash it
U need the USB drivers btw
If u want the link check out the other USB tethering thread in the general section .. zaqwankira shared the link
Cheers
And its not normal btw
Edit: I read your post again and it seems u have used the fat cm7 rom ..I didn't face that problem bro ..u had the drivers?????
Or you can download clock work tether or easy tether from the market. It will give you step wise instructions 2 get it working. easy tether Works great on my phone.

root script for Linux
Hey guys, thanks for this. I've taken the cmd script and rewrote it for Linux. So if anyone is a pure-Linux user (like myself), you can use this for rooting your Huawei Mediapad 7 Lite on Linux.
You need to have adb installed and in your PATH for this. I'm on Arch Linux, so the package is called adb-git, and it's available in AUR. I don't know about other distributions, but I'm sure Debian-based distros, such as Ubuntu, have either the adb package in their repositories, or something like "android-tools". On OpenSUSE, the package is called "android-tools", and it's in the official repos (AFAIK).
I haven't tested it on non-Arch distributions, but AFAIK it should work. You might need to be running systemd rather than initscripts (sorry rock-solid Linux users).
Just unpack the archive somewhere on your hard disk and run the "Install_Root.sh" script as root. It should do all the work for you.
Oh, and in order to unroot (or unbrick) it, it seems like "updating" your tablet with the official firmware works well.
Does anyone has some good news for our device?
CWM , custom Rom , etc...

The app is called tv overal. I really like the app and I use it a lot. But now with the latest update the have implanted a sort of root detection. And now i can't see live tv anymore. . I've read about a topic here on xda with google videos. They made a special apk for it. Can someone please do something like that for this app? I really like to use it , but i want to keep root.

Hello
I've tested it out on different versions. It's always the same problem. You can see tv but you can't go to the tv guide. It's loading and than it says application has stoped. What i do now is using an older version. Version 2.6.1. With this version you can see the tv guide and record programs on your decoder.
With the newest version the xprivacy is not working. You still have the rooting message. I think you have something in the tv guide when you open it , that it also checks root. I really hope that someone can find a good solution for this problem.

Installation:
1) To put on a SD card the dload folder with UPDATE.APP the file inside,
2) In project menu (to collect *#*#2846579#*# *), to select Software Upgrade -> SDCard Upgrade
(complete installation, all user data remain)
PS: (the thread will be updated)
The B120 Wirkung fine with my NEM-L51. Don't Unterstand why Honor don't gives the Updates to the Users and her phones.

Ok, i give it a try.....
Maybe i am to stupid for this
1. i created a folder "dload" on SD-Card
2. Unzip Update.zip
3. copy UPDATE.APP into the dload-folder
4. start update as suggestes in first post
But Phone is always starting into TWRP, no update executed.

stock recovery need!!!
after flashing stock recovery the update was performed well.
But the result is not what i expected.
After Update i have new FW version installed but:
1. Device is no longer rooted
2. Device has a locked bootloader again
So on my opinion the answer a few posts before "works on rooted devices" is not correct.
Yes, update is performed on rooted devices, but after that update root is gone and device is relocked!
Thanks for the hints in advance

Hi Man. I have a NEM-L51 and updated it with your file. Lot of small new features! But I've noticed that my wifi speed is crap now... in every single wifi spot I connect I get ****ty speed. Do you know what is going on?
Does anyone else have this problem?

I've tried with three different routers. And I'm always having ****ty connection . It's no more than 1mb/s and in all these location the routers provide speeds higher than 30mb/s . The only thing I've done regarding touching system files has been install the TWRP recovery, root and xposed framework.... any help?

Have you tried with a different device? Cause maybe, you know, it's the router's fault.
